Tree reviews in Lincroft, New Jersey

The owner, Alan, has a huge chip on his shoulder and is very unpleasent to talk to once you proceed to ask a question about anything.

I had to ask a couple times for a price to cut down a bunch of trees. It was almost double what i ended up paying.

Professional team from estimate to completion. Great work and fairly priced.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Very pleased with all aspects of the work recently completed including price and cleanup.

They came up with a great plan which helped to keep costs at a reasonable level and executed the plan really well. Very happy with the results.

Amazing work done by amazing, experienced, professional men. Want the job done right, not spend too much money, and have it done right the FIRST time? Then this is the place to call for anything tree service related!!!

We have used Cook’s multiple times on our wooded lot. Professional, dependable and knowledgeable. The yard is spotless when the work is done.

Professional business. Cooks is our go to for all tree maintenance and removal. The crew is considerate of our property and perform a through job of debris removal.

They worked removing trees for two full days on my property. They did excellent work., very responsive, used rubber mats to protect the grass, and they are a great company. Highly recommend.

The team at Cook's is professional and comes with industry leading equipment that I do not see from other tree companies. It really made a difference as my lawn was perfect as my lawn look great as if they were never there.

I have been dealing with Cooks for 15 years. They take pride in their work, they are knowledgeable, and they do what they say they will do. They just finished work today and left everything completed, neat, and clean. My compliments!

I had a tree on my property with some lower branches hanging out over the street. The tree's upper branches had repeatedly been cut back by various tree companies contracted out by the electric company. The
tree looked misshapen plus had several unsightly dead branches. Cook's Tree Service did a perfect job trimming up the tree to fit the location. Wonderful service!!! I will be calling them back when it's time to finally replace the tree and recommend them to anyone looking for a great tree service!!!

I spoke with the owner, Alan Cook, who was very responsive and courteous until the day the work was going to be completed. I was not going to be present when they came to complete the job so I asked if he could invoice me and I would pay him in a week once I checked that the work was done as discussed. He proceeded to say “a week or two” in an angry voice and then said “never mind” and hung up the phone immediately.

He refused to answer my phone calls past this point. In all my life I have never seen anybody conduct themselves in such a manner. I highly advise anybody considering this business to find another tree service. Clearly Alan either does bad work, is in fincanial troubles, or both. Either way him and his business should be avoided at all costs. I was nothing but respectful to Alan and would have paid him on the spot had I been present. What a shame that there are people in this world who can call themselves a business owner and act as Alan did today...

He’s not the cheapest but neither the most expensive , He’s very knowledgeable and passionate about his trade , all the other company’s I called as well were pushing for entire tree removals he on the other hand make certain suggestions on why only some should be removed and the rest should receive his “extreme make over” procedure, they were cleaned up and shaped accordingly, my property looks wonderful! Thank you Mr. Cook I will Be contacting you in 2 years to have the maintenance performed again.

Cook's did a very professional job cleaning up 5 large oaks for me. They left my yard cleaner than when they started. They are safe, care about properly trimming trees, and make sure you are good with the work.

Cook’s is outstanding! Professional, knowledgeable, and their work is high quality. My yard was immaculate when they left. They take great care to clean up and not damage the surrounding area with equipment or fallen limbs.

I live on a very busy road where some tree services wouldn't even give an estimate . Alan showed up on schedule . The price was fair . Scheduled the work and it was performed without a hitch !! My surrounding neighbors all loved the work that was done on the property lines and we all loved how clean they left the work area. FIVE STARS !!

Cook’s Tree Service did a great job at our property- Alan, Jon & team are professional and thorough. They not only completed all the work on the estimate, but without my asking, they also took care of some other trees that needed some branches removed or needed some trimming.

They have advanced equipment to enable the job to be done efficiently and safely. They’re also careful with the property and use mats to avoid creating ruts and damaging the lawn.

They ground out all the stumps of the trees that they removed and thoroughly cleaned up all the debris when they finished. The trees that they pruned and shaped give a nice manicured look to the property.

Very happy that we chose them for our tree work.

I have used Cook's Tree Service at least three times now and I have been very pleased each time. They have removed whole trees and have trimmed trees to help the trees survive both wind and snow loads.

They are very knowledgable and their work is very professional. Ground matts were used to protect the grass and prevent ruts when bringing heavy equipment on to your property. Safety is also clearly important when Cook's performs this potentially dangerous work. Once the tree work is done, you cannot tell that they were even there. The grass and grounds are racked and immaculate when they are done.

I personally like to hire a father son team since you get both the experience of the father, Alan, and the enthusiasm and energy of the son, Jon. I especially liked working with Alan because he is a true arborist. Although he makes money cutting trees down, he uses tree removal as a last option if it is possible to save a tree. I will continue to use Cook's Service and predict you will be happy if you do also.

Cook’s tree service did a fantastic job from beginning to end.
Extremely happy, the whole team is professional.
I didn’t find Cook’s tree service online or advertisement, they were always doing a job in my neighborhood including on my street many times over.
When I called Alan to schedule an appointment for an estimate he was on time for the estimate and on time to get the job done.
Very happy with the end result and highly recommended.

Another great job by Alan's guys. This is the 4th tree they have cut down for me. Always a fair price and great service.
