I'm extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience at this Home Depot location. The issue started when I purchased a bamboo flooring product, which the store employee assured me was dent and scratch resistant. However, after further research, I discovered that the manufacturer actually requires an underlayment for proper installation - something the employee never mentioned.

Fast forward to a few days post-installation, and I'm already starting to notice noticeable dents on my floor. Given bamboo flooring's supposed reputation for being durable, I was shocked and disappointed. When I contacted the store manager about this issue, they told me that nothing could be done since it had been installed for so long.

I clarified that I wasn't seeking compensation, but rather a solution - perhaps an alternative type of flooring or a replacement floor altogether. Instead, I was offered a paltry $100 in goodwill for their misunderstanding. I made it clear that I didn't want the money; I just needed a new floor.

To make matters worse, when I mentioned returning the existing floor and utilizing my Home Depot card's return policy (which has about a year of validity), the store manager seemed uncooperative. It's either they provide me with a suitable replacement or I'll be forced to take my business elsewhere. This lack of support is unacceptable, especially considering the product's supposed quality claims.
