Excellent service! The guys arrived on time, wore masks and even cleaned up! They were efficient, neat and most of all so nice! They swapped out a ceiling fan and light fixture, as well as some minor repairs. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others as well!

John- the owner- is the best! I was panicked after several outlets blew out one evening. I We found this company on google and called around 7:30. John came out, explained the source of the problem- fixed it, and went the extra mile to check all of the outlets, breakers, etc. and explained how to prevent a reoccurrence. Plus, a super nice guy.

John and his team are the real deal: responsive, honest, and skilled. They provided a new dedicated circuit for an appliance and fixed some small, two wire outlets to make them safe for our two-year-old. Look no further, this is the team you want.

I’ve been using Montillo Electric for years. John is honest and reliable. He’s also extremely responsive and affordable. There was a small electrical fire in the basement under my child’s room that I didn’t know about and John found it and fixed the problem. He’s the only electrician I would trust!

After Ida I had no power going to my Hot Tub and since it was a long weekend I needed to get it fixed to avoid further issues. It was a Friday before the holiday weekend and John answered all my texts regarding finding a breaker even though he was absolutely swamped. He got someone to me by the end of the day to fix the issue. I was nervous t receive the bill based on all factors mentioned. I was pleasantly surprised to find the labor under $100 and I was charged for the breaker what it would have cost me at the supply store. He has all my electrical business going forward. Local and Honest...done!

I had heard about Montillo Electric through a friend and decided to use them for some exterior lights I needed on my home. John and his team did a great job. Lights look great, very happy that I used him and will certainly use them again in the future.

I had an emergency at 12 midnight the flashing around our chimney was leaking and the water got into an electric socket in the kitchen starting a fire. An emergency phone call was made to Montillo electric his response was amazing and greatly appreciated to disconnect that electrical line. He was very professional and very reliable to come out for an emergency when called. I can't thank him enough. Highly recommended

John always provides a great level of professionalism and expertise in his field. I use him for my work at home and at the office. He's quality of work is top notch but his price does not break the bank. He's always available to take your call even for the smallest of jobs. 5 stars in my book.

I looked at the reviews but didn't see any reviews posted within the past few months.

John came out to help us a few months ago with a problem. We were happy he came out right away and resolved the matter with PSE&G. WE EVEN PAID HIM MORE THAN HE REQUESTED.

Shortly after that, we contacted him by text for additional work & he said he would come. He never showed up despite my texts & calling him.

I continue to contact him on several occasions, but he never responded. I even asked him if he went out of business, but still no response.

I am assuming something happened and that
whatever it was has made him unreliable.

John the owner is very responsive, fair and easy to work with. Randy, Dale and Ben have always done a professional job and always obliging to any of my last minute changes. I will continue to use them for all of my electrical needs.

My lights had been flickering in my home for a while and I was getting concerned of a possible hazard occurring, so I called John to come take a look. He immediately answered my call and was at my home in a matter of minutes. Turns out my main breaker needed to be replaced and had started sparking and arching. John replaced the breaker and provided a detailed explanation as to why this happened. I’m so grateful he responded right away and gave me peace of mind. Will definitely used his company again.

My pool panel shorted out on a hot day in August, John was able to come by the same day, showed me what the problem was, disconnected the faulty salt generator and had the pool filtering again so the kids could enjoy it. He was professional, knowledgeable, efficient and took care of the problem within a short amount of time. I have recommended him to my friends and family.

We lost power on our second floor and owner John came right away and was able to locate our point of issue. Temporarily repaired just to get us power. Next morning him and his crew showed up early and went to work to fix the problem the right and safe way. They were all so nice and professional. We now have a steady electrician if we need, will definitely recommend and use again.

My power lines and electric feeder were damaged today. I called John and they took care of it right away. Great communication, very knowledgeable and above all, understands the urgency. Thank you John for your responsiveness and being thorough in your work. Shortly after calling PSEG to let them know the repairs had been done, they showed up, connected the lines and our power was restored. Thanks again!

Montillo was amazing. I called at 4pm on Friday, his electrician got to my home 5:20 and stayed until after 8. After having diagnosed the issue, shoddy work by a previous electrician, he ended up having to add a breaker to our box and replace two outlets. So, happy with the service and the work. I highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Montillo Electric. I was selling my home and found out that my entire house had to be rewired and it had to be done fast. Mr. Montillo worked tirelessly to get the job done on schedule. I was a wreck but he was so kind and patient with me. His crew showed up when promised and on time. The work was quality and the house left broom clean. I highly recommend this company. In today’s world it’s rare to find a contractor with integrity. Montillo Electric is the BEST!!!

John's team installed new lighting for our basement, upgraded knob and tube wiring for several outlets, and installed a new outdoor outlet and light fixture. John worked with us to get exactly what we wanted and helped us choose options that would make it easy for us when we renovate further in the future. We are super happy with the results and will be using them again soon.

I called up John with an electrical issue pertaining to a 12-3 wire connection to a constant running vent in the bathroom. He was very experienced and patient in helping me troubleshoot the problem over the phone. I was def not the most articulate in explaining everything but was able to resolve the issue nonetheless over a 10 minute phone call. I offered to pay him for his time but he kindly refused and was glad to be of assistance and even dispensed some helpful advise. I will definitely retain his services in the future should I require electrical work as he seems extremely knowledgeable, competent, and honest. John Montillo worked on the electric for our home renovation. I will DEFINITELY recommend him to all my friends and family. John and his team are excellent at what they do. I've used them to install light fixtures, baseboard heaters, thermostats, bathroom vent etc.
John communicates with you the entire time. His employees are very professional. They are very efficient and clean up after themselves.

John Montillo and his staff were incredibly efficient. They communicated their arrival time and discussed the job prior to even starting. The technicians reviewed the job with me before leaving my home and they cleaned up any debris that was created while working.
