Solar panels have not been working for about 3 weeks now. Keep getting pushed around about having someone take a look and see what’s going on ..

Very professional and responsive. They took care of all things from A to Z and was the most hassle free experience I have ever had, period!!!! I hope that the system works as well as they did

Green House Solar. Excellent service, great hardware, and the owner stands by his company. I would recommend them to anyone.
Green House = Green House Solar.

Definitely a good company to do business with. There were a few hiccups along the way, especially with the pandemic happening but they came through each time. Would definitely recommend.

Wasn't terribly impressed with the sales team. Panel quality seemed but good sales team did not follow up with me after multiple reachouts and I ended up going with another company.

To the owner, please give me your email address and I'll forward you communications.

Don't usually write negative reviews to be honest, but this is the most aggrivating situation I've dealt with in a long time.

We were scheduled for an install today at 9:30am. I've confirmed with them several times that the install would happen today, weeks ago, days ago, and yesterday afternoon. Now I get a get message saying the install cannot be done today, at 8:39am. Less than an hour before.

I had explained to them several times that I will not have availability to be here for 2 consecutive days from now until the end of the year. This is why I confirmed so often with them. Let alone we have a daughter with medical complications that the monitors require power and internet access which is another part of the scheduling around this. (Which I don't blame them for, as I didn't get to explain this to them)

I asked for a supervisor to call me, and I got a call from Rob. Rob cut me off several times as I was trying to explain this to him, and told me"all you is demand things" and "you don't understand what you're talking about" and "just listen to me, it is what it is"

then Rob told me "im not involved in installs, I'm in sales"

...why am I talking to you Rob, if you don't even work in that department?

He wouldn't answer my question. I asked to talk to the person in charge, and he told me "I'm not going to do that" and hung up the phone.

Rob clearly doesn't know how to talk to people, and my issue was not fixed.

All I'm asking for is the company to keep to their commitments and for a person in "sales" to speak over me the entire conversation, and learn how to communicate.

What a pleasure it was to deal with this company. They started out doing maintenance for a system they didn't install, and did great. When we had to move we went right to them, and from beginning to end they were responsive, courteous, friendly and efficient. The cost is the cost. They weren't out of line. But their customer service sets them apart from the rest! Happy to chat if you have questions about them.

Green House offered a quality experience from beginning to end! Communication was stellar; I approached three companies initially, and their pitch was the most detailed and accurate. We are very happy with our panels!

I am extremely happy with all the service provided by Greenhouse Solar. All personnel was helpful and the installers answered the questions I had on site, they also performed a neat job. After the installation I got weekly emails showing the current status of the inspections and approvals. It was a plus on quality of service.

A neighbor recommended Green house to me. The initial few contacts were a bit tricky but I am glad staying on because the subsequent contacts and services provided were bespoke! Thanks Lauren for being an exceptionally nice person. My solar system has been running well and so far I am very satisfied.

My name is Joe Marazzo and I would like to leave a review of my experience with Greenhouse Solar. My professional background is in the Energy Field. I received my BS in Civil Engineering and started my career with the Brooklyn Union Gas Company as a Management Trainee in 1980. My first 18 years was on the gas distribution/ engineering side of the business. In 1998, Brooklyn Union purchased the Long Island Lighting Co and became KeySpan Energy. In 2002 , I was promoted to President and COO of KeySpan Home Energy Services (the residential energy services unregulated side of the business). During that timeframe, KeySpan also acquired Boston Gas and with the NYC, Long Island, and greater Boston area, became the largest Energy Provider in the Northeast. During my tenure as President and COO , I became very interested in photovoltaics and other forms of renewable energy.
In 2007, KeySpan was acquired by National Grid. I remained on as COO of National Grid Home Services to help with the transition. In 2009, I retired from National Grid and joined Clean Energy USA as a partner. At that time, I also became certified in Photovoltaic energy. Clean Energy USA was a Sunpower dealer with headquarters in Rehobeth Beach, DE. In late 2010, with many changes happening in the solar industry, I was offered a position with New Jersey Resources in Wall Township NJ. I was responsible for NJR Home Services which included residential installation of Solar panels. At that time, I also installed a 11kw Sunpower system on my home in Basking Ridge , NJ.
I retired from NJR Home Services in 2015 and my wife and I built our new home in Gladstone, NJ. I specifically had my builder prep the house for future solar power and made sure that our back roof had perfect orientation. The pandemic set us back on getting it done but in 2022, I decided to pursue bids from Sunpower dealers. Because of the pandemic and supply chain issues we waited until the spring of 2023. I met with a few Sunpower dealers but was most impressed with Greenhouse Solar. After meeting with Rob Emery, I felt very comfortable with Greenhouse Solar. Again, because of supply chain issues plaguing Sunpower, I decided to go with the German made Meyer Burger panels. The system was installed in late summer 2023. I was very impressed with the the staff at Greenhouse Solar. They made the entire process seamless and there workmanship was very professional. Also, they were extremely responsive to a few glitches we experienced on start up. I would like to endorse and recommend Greenhouse Solar. I have been very happy with them.

After conducting extensive research, I decided to go solar and chose Green House Solar. I met with Tim Kennedy who was very open and explained the entire process and the system. Short to say, all my expectations were met and exceeded. It’s been several months since I went live with my system and I’m very happy. I also would like to thank the entire staff (Frank, Tim, Beth, and the installation team). They did a fantastic job and made the process seamless. I would highly recommend Green House Solar to anyone.

Deciding which solar contractor to go with seemed like a daunting task until Green House Solar came along. I appreciated the relatively small size of the company which allowed for direct, hands-on attention from the owner, Frank, his salesperson Michael, project coordinator Tim and installers Rob and Cory. They were there for me and my home every step of the way. There are a lot of hurdles to clear to get a system up and running from idea to reality, most of which have to do with building inspectors, the utility company and the state, but they navigated them all for us. Not to mention the panels and inverters they deal with are top notch, and we look forward to a profitable and earth-friendly system for years to come!

Greenhouse solar installed solar panels at our house earlier this summer, and we were very satisfied with the entire experience. From initial conversations to final installation, the entire process was smooth. To being with, we started our conversations with Tim, who was really good at explaining the process. He provided us with detailed numbers, which we found very useful when deciding to go with solar, and in choosing this company over others. Once the contract was signed, we met with Frank Curran, the owner. Frank is very knowledgeable which was apparent as he walked us through the process, and he patiently answered all our questions related to the installation. He also checked our roof and found that they had lost their asphalt layers and recommended we replace the roof shingles. The majority of the time was spent obtaining the required certificates and permits (expect 2-3 months to get the permits) but once the permits were in place, the process of installation was very smooth - the entire system was installed in two days, and we were able to switch on our solar pretty soon after that. The best part of the installation was none of the wires are visible from the outside, everything was neatly tucked under the panels and the panels themselves look like a series of skylights. Right after installation there was some water leaks during rains but Frank had someone from his team come over right away, and they doubled the sealant in the basement. We have not seen any leakages or any other problems, since!!! It’s now been 5 months since the system was turned on - we have seen a noticeable reduction in the electricity bill, and we also recently received our first SREC in the mail. Overall we are very happy with the entire installation process and with going solar. We would definitely recommend greenhouse solar to anyone for solar installation.

I spoke with several installers while deciding who to do our solar installation, from local contractors to the big companies and by far felt most comfortable with using Frank, and we're glad we made the choice.

He's very knowledgeable and was always willing to take the time to answer questions and talk through options. High quality work, very professional, and everything under his control was exactly on-budget. We ended up having to do some additional roof reinforcements, but even his contractor that he brought in for that (Butch) was excellent.

The system is now up and running for a few weeks and production is great. I highly recommend using Green House!

Extremely professional and exceptionally straightforward. We engaged multiple alternative bids for comparison, but we came back to greenhouse solar and are very happy we did.

We had Green House Solar install our system in 2024 and were very pleased with the entire process, even in the midst of the staffing issues they were facing that caused a bit of confusion. The owner, Frank Curran, jumped in and ensured with the help of his team that the installation proceeded as planned. We were up and running by mid May. When the chaos that came with the SunPower bankruptcy, and the SunPower monitoring system stopped reporting accurately, Green House came out several times to make sure the panels and the microinverters were working properly. Through my own research and the research Green House did (SunPower was giving virtually no guidance or support during the this phase to either the customers or the installers), I determined that we should replace the SunPower monitoring box with an Enphase IQ Gateway. During that installation Enphase worked with me and the Green House team to enable Green House as my installer the capability to monitor productivity and problems with the system. I should mention that I am a cash/loan customer so I own the system. That enabled me to make decisions that perhaps unfortunately may have been unavailable to lease customers. At any rate I would definitely recommend Green House Solar.

We are not actually up and running yet, just in the inspection phase, but the whole design and installation phase has been super smooth and stress free.We were always informed of work days in advance and on site, installers took time to explain everything.
They worked carefully and cleaned up thoroughly. The panels look unobtrusive, parallel to the roof and black, we don't even notice them.
We passed town inspections easily now it's up to the electric company. I'm sure we'll be using solar in a few weeks!
