Very clean work!! They asked me several times if I needed anything else done while they were there. I've never had a company ask if I wanted extra things done while they were there. The workers know what they are doing. I'm very satisfied.

Ramiro is a very competent and caring person! He takes his position very seriously and is working hard to solve my problem. He is so helpful and responds very quickly to all of my concerns.

Mr. Contreras is knowledgeable, friendly, responds in a timely and honest way. He and Bartlett are my “go to” tree experts.

They left two huge stumps. Wasn’t clear that stump removal IS NOT included in the cost of tree removal. Even after inquiring, I never heard back on the cost for stump removal. Now I have to hire a separate company for this service. Horrible customer service. contact Jon and Jason at Royal Tree Service instead.

Bartlett is a God send. They are saving my Pear Tree! The entire team is so kind, supportive, patient, and informational. They are a wonderful group that truly care about their work and taking care of our Earth. I recommend them to everyone. The best around! My Gardener recommends them to everyone. Bartlett Tree Experts, and particularly Matt Rodda, our local arborist, have provided me with excellent advice and landscape/tree care for the past 20+ years. Matt's personal knowledge about trees is amazing and deep, and he truly cares about the health and viability of his clients' trees. Many people I have encountered in town and in the industry rely on Matt's knowledge and judgement, from residents and landscapers to the Reeves-Reed Arboretum. I also like knowing that Bartlett Tree Experts and Matt are backed by the Bartlett Laboratories and have the benefit of all the leading edge research being done there. Any time I have had a service performed by Bartlett employees, they are polite and careful and leave a clean job site. For example, when Bartlett comes to spray my boxwoods for blight, the technician empties my birdbath and turns the top over so the chemicals won't get in the water. I truly think Matt is the best arborist around, plus he is a nice guy!

My service representative, Rob Lindsley, was knowledgeable, honest and professional. He not only advised that one tree was dead and could come down in an ice storm but that the other, much bigger tree was healthy and didn’t need work. The tree removal with stump grinding were done neatly, quickly and at a fair price, giving me peace of mind as bad weather approaches.

We have worked with Bartlett on and off over the years (tree & shrub treatments and tree maintenance), and are a former customer.

We generally found the quality and service very good. More recently, we experienced poor communication, high cost for tree & shrub treatments, and a general lack of interest from Bartlett (perhaps we are a small customer). Matt Roda was very good years ago, but is no longer “hungry” in my experience. So we changed providers (again). Just my opinion here.

We're extremely happy with the service that Bartlett has provided in caring for our oak and sycamores! The oak is a 300+ year-old giant in our backyard, and a few years ago we were worried that we might have to take it down before long. Rob assessed its health and felt that it was structurally sound but could benefit from a fertilization plan to provide it with the nutrients it needed to help regain vigor. Fast-forward six years to today, and our oak is thriving. Bartlett's team or arborists has always been prompt, informative, and helpful. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent tree care in the Maplewood/South Orange area.

I have two trees in front of my house and love the way they bloom. As the years went by, one of my trees stop blooming. I thought it was dying. I started looking around for tree experts and was recommended by a friend to call Barlett Tree Experts. It was the best decision I made. I called and made an appointment. They arrived on the time and date that was agreed on. Looked at the trees and knew right away what needed to be done. Ramiro Contreras came up with a plan and about week someone was at my house. I posted two pictures. Before and after ……thanks again for bringing my tree back to life. I would definitely recommend Barlett Tree Experts for any of your tree needs….

We called and made an appointment and the rep was at our home right on time as scheduled. The workers arrived a day later as scheduled and well before the scheduled time. They did a fabulous job on our overgrown Japanese Maple tree. We recommend them highly, a very reliable and customer oriented company! Thank You Bartlett Tree Experts!
