Great guy, great work.
-
Very responsive and knowledgeable. He got the problem fixed quickly.
-
I setup an appointment for him to come estimate a bathroom remodel and then he just never showed up. I tried to reach out and he wouldn’t answer.
-
He was recommended to me by someone in the neighborhood and I called only for him to be SO rude and nasty. Absolutely terrible.
-
Had a clogged sink, Gary fixed it quickly. Would recommend him, very professional friendly service.

Responded quickly, great local area plumber! Expert and efficient job; well done and quickly. Fair price and nice person to do business with. Highly recommend, especially for local Medford residents.
-
I've had Gary out twice, I'm not a plumber but it appears to me he does things the right way, complete and professional work, shows up when he says he will, and his pricing is fair.

Gary knows his business ! Very efficient and gets the job done! Hope his radius gets bigger because if I ever have another problem, he’s the one I’m calling!

Highly recommended......Responded within a few hours to our call for a sewer line repair. Had the problem diagnosed and repaired within a day. Reliable and price was very fair. Have recommended this business to others and they have had the same positive experience.

Gary replaced the outside hose spigot from within my crawlspace. I could not have asked for a better and quicker quality job. I'm a new loyal customer of Gary's.

Gary was prompt, friendly and professional. He repaired our issue quickly and permanently. I would highly recommend him as your plumber.

Gary is a great guy. I would highly recommend him, he showed up on time, was clean and neat and even put up with my dog. He did a great job.

Gary came to my house twice for 2 separate jobs. Quick to respond, honest, prices were reasonable, quality work. Great local plumber you can depend on.

Called Gary to see if he could help me, and he was able to quickly diagnose the problem free of charge and point me in the right direction. Based on the few minutes of his time he generously gave to me, I will certainly contact him for future jobs in his areas of focus.

I called Mr. Lawrence for 3 issues: a shower faucet which needed a new cartridge because the prior one had frozen, a small drip in a shut off valve in our basement, and a leaky hose bib/spigot which was turning our side yard to mud. He replaced the shower faucet cartridge in about 15 minutes and tightened a nut on the basement shut off valve, which took under a minute. Without inspecting it, he told us that the leaking at the hose bib/spigot was not a leak but a leaky hose on our hose reel. He charged us $276.56 for about 35-40 minutes, at most.
Several days later I removed the outdoor hose and turned on the shut off valve to the outdoor hose bib/spigot and clearly saw the leak which he denied was there.
When I called him and told him about the leaky hose bib/spigot, which he should have fixed on his first visit, I asked him what that additional repair would cost. He said it would cost about $250 more including the cost of his new service call. He shouldn't have scoffed at me the first time and he should have examined it and fixed it then. Instead, he wanted to charge me a total of well over $500, including the shower cartridge, tightened nut and hose bib. No, thanks, I'll figure out how to do it myself or hire someone more reasonable. -
I have used Gary Lawrence Plumbing for several jobs now. He is always quick to respond, lives up to his time commitment, does great work and is reasonably priced. He truly is "the neighborhood plumber" because he performs as if he is a friend who lives down the street!

Gary is a good guy. He's straight forward and does good work. He replaced a complicated section of leaking / failing drain for me and also helped me spec and install a water conditioner system. Im an experienced DIYer and I respect his knowledge and experience.
I've read some reviews that say he's rude. Now that I know him, I can understand why someone sensitive might think he is rude. If you look past his tone you'll find an experienced motivated independent plumber who can provide sound advise and deliver quality work. -
I called gary about a leak causing water damage to the ceiling drywall. He recommended that I cut open the drywall myself and try and find the leak which would save me money vs. him doing it. I found the leak and called him back. He walked me through further investigation and I was able to isolate the cause. He came over within 45 minutes and fixed the leak. I really appreciate the effort he took to help me find the leak myself. It wasn't hard and saved me a lot of money. I'll definitely use Gary next time.

Gary is a great plumber who does good work for a fair price. I had an emergency repair situation and he came out at night to fix the problem and didn't stick me with a huge bill. He just did the work and we paid a fair price. We were without running water but Gary had us up and running within an hour.

Gary did an awesome job today. First time customer and based on the other favorable reviews here, called him for a repair/replacement of a washer discharge submersible pump. He came out the same day and completely the work promptly (in fact before I even got calls back from other plumbers for estimates). Great job and thanks again, will definitely use Gary again in the future!
