Constraction reviews in Metuchen, New Jersey

I could not be happier with the experience I have had with DCR. We completely re-did our landscaping this year and the final result was amazing. I can't say enough about the attention to detail, the planning, and the quality of work. Doug's team was incredibly efficient and was able to complete what was a huge job in only a few days. From the actual design to the plants, lighting and irrigation that was installed, everything was done professionally and expertly. We even changed the position of 2 trees last minute after they were planted and they were able to make the changes with no problem. Also- excellent job cleaning up after job was completed, left the property looking better than when they started. I have already hired them for another job this spring. Definitely use this company!

Cannot say enough about DCR. Doug (the owner) designed our landscaping about 5 years ago. People still stop and ask me what company designed it. Their work is impeccable and we continue to have our lawn serviced by them.

Recently my daughter used DCR for the front and back of her home. The design is beautiful and they were beyond happy.

They have a great team in their office as well as in the field (Brian is amazing) ! The men are very harding working and take pride in their work.

I highly recommend DCR! They are top notch!

Doug and Dcr are the best. He has the ability to do every job large or small. All of his staff are professional on time and organized. We have used Dcr for years for planting, hardscape and maintenance and are always pleased with the work

Have been using DCR for many years. Their staff is wonderful!

DCR does the landscape maintenance on about a dozen of our commercial properties. They do such a nice job that I use them for my home as well. Their weekly service is meticulous and their employees are all hard workers. Highly recommend them!

The team takes good care of my property weekly to keep my yard the best one in the block. Team is very attentive at their tasks and executes them to my satisfaction.

We are really pleased with the consistent quality service we've received from DCR over the past 7 years. They handle all our property needs from regular lawn maintenance to seasonal cleanups, and the results are always great.

Special thanks to Steve, who has been fantastic to work with. He's reliable, professional, and makes sure everything is done right. The crew does excellent work with lawn mowing, tree pruning, and keeping our property looking sharp throughout the year.

Definitely recommend their services if you're looking for dependable landscaping care.

DCR Paving & Masonry of Metuchen NJ took advantage of my 76 yr old mother and our family. We contracted DCR Paving & Masonary to provide quality work as advertised. The request for landscaping and to create a sidewalk and create a driveway. The quality of work was terrible. When we addressed our concerns about the terrible work completed the only resolve was to charge my family additional cost to correct the errors and the lack of concern regarding their quality of work. We did not experience the close relationship they state they provide and the highest standard of quality services on each of the projects that were somewhat completed. They claim to be committed to achieving full customer satisfaction. We paid a very large substantial amount of money to have decent landscaping and sidewalk and a decent driveway. DCR Paving & Masonary to have over three decade of services you were not forth coming regarding the seasonal months that may required additional items when laying down grass seeds for example STRAW. You failed to provide the required amount of asphalt to complete our driveway in the professional manner and high quality you claim to stand by. DCR PAVING & MASONARY took our money and half delivered quality work.

If I could give 10 stars I would. DCR has been one of the most professional and reliable  companies I have ever hired to do work at any of my homes over the last 30 years.
From the moment Doug came to my house to give me an estimate, and until the day his team finished, the communication was exceptional. Any time I called him and had a question, he either answered the phone or called me back the same day.His foreman Julio was great, and his team arrived everyday they were supposed to on time @ 7:45 am or sooner. You could set your watch to their arrival time.As a business owner of 5 gyms with over 150 employees, I've never had employees work as hard as I've seen his employees work. They never fooled around and consistently worked together to get the day's job done.I can sincerely tell you that you may find a cheaper company, but you will never find a higher quality of work and professionalism.
Doug has the vision and the team to make your dreams come true. I highly recommend DCR.

Hired Blue Note to inspect my roof before i called the roofers. His report helped me save money when it came time to replace my roof. He also crawled in my attic crawl space to be thorough, and his drone video helped me see everything for myself. Will be using him again when I sell my house so I can get top dollar.
Mike is very knowledgeable about his job. His top notch detailed report helped me understand construction things I didn't understand before.

Mike Lemus, thank you for the professional work you did for me. I love your style of work. You proved to be truly professional and knowledgeable when it comes to property inspections. You made me relax and stress free. The details and explanations of your work is excellent. Thanks so much for the wonderful work.

Let's talk about delivering a customer experience. Outside of his expertise, thoroughness, and clear passion in his business - Mike is unbelievably personable and highly communicative. From to start to finish he was proactive in relaying and coordinating information. We are better informed home owners because of this experience with him, outside of just receiving an detailed inspection. Couldn't recommend him enough!

Mike was very thorough and professional. He wasn’t bothered by questions and was able to shed some light on whatever concerns we had.

Very responsive and timely with updates on his report. The report itself was extremely detailed and formatted to make it very clear what was an issue and what was aesthetic.

Overall super pleased with Blue Notes Inspection services and definitely would recommend to anyone in search of an inspector.

Mike came out to do an inspection on a property we are buying. He was very friendly, informative, and honest. He took his time and thoroughly inspected every inch of the one family home with attached garage we are buying. His report had all the details we needed to go back to the sellers so they can address the reported issues before closing. Not only was it extremely detailed, but it was also SO organized and we had the report back in only 48 hours! Mike's price for the complete inspection was fantastic. I would highly recommend him and will always sing his praise.
