I am beyond impressed with the work Pete and his crew did for us. They removed four of our trees, and frankly, I’m shocked they were able to get it all done in just a day and a half—especially considering how incredibly tall these trees were.
The team was professional, organized, and moved with serious speed. To top it off, they went above and beyond by picking up extra branches I already had laying on my lawn, leaving the entire yard looking better than they found it.
If you need a crew that is fast, hardworking, and attentive to detail, I highly recommend Moosewood Tree Service!

Very professional guys!! Had a tree cut down and wanted to keep most of the wood for our firepit they cut it in small pieces and even stacked it from large to small pieces, so nice of them. Would absolutely recommend them!!

Pete and his team did an amazing job! They arrived on time, answered all my questions, stopped and talked me through things I was unsure about, and at the end left everything spotless like nothing ever happened! They were patient and informative and a pleasure to work with! Also priced very fairly! Would definitely call them again for future tree-related needs!

TLDR: Pete is an awesome guy, extremely knowledgeable and professional. The job was done so wonderfully, by the time they were done, couldn’t even tell a tree was removed. The price was extremely fair.

Project: large, dead oak tree in my backyard had to be removed. Danger of branches falling

Service: from beginning to end, every step along the way was a perfect experience. I called Pete, left a message and got a callback and visit same day. Checked out the project, got quote within 24 hours.

Price: extremely reasonable. I validated with 5 other people with experience in having trees removed and all said it was an extremely fair price.

Performance: in about half a day, Pete and his team got my entire tree down. Extremely professional and you can tell experienced crew. The tree removal was surgical. The best part was they cleaned up after, the wood shavings, fallen branches, got rid of it all. Literally can’t tell I just had. A tree removed

Overall: 10/10 recommend. I’ll be using Pete for any future projects and confidently vouching for him to friends and family for tree services .

Nothing but great things to say about Moosewood Tree Service. Not only did Pete & crew do an excellent job trimming several large oak branches away from the house but they thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Very reliable & easy to communicate with. Can’t recommend these guys enough! Our yard needed 10 trees down, 20-30 existing stumps ground up, and a ton of brush removed. Pete and the crew were professional, worked quickly, well priced, and in general great to have around. We even recommended them to our neighbors and their trees were taken care of in the same week. Pete and team offered extremely timely service and reasonable price. The whole experience helped me stress a lot less from the situation (I was out of town during the holidays when a not ours tree hit our house and yard)! Pete also proactively warned us about the poison ivy afterward and gave a high level assessment on the roof situation - in case there is leak. Pete and the team at Moosewood Tree Service went above and beyond! I was impressed by their prompt service and fair pricing. They quickly cleaned all the debris from a fallen tree and removed the rest of it from my front yard. The job was done in under three hours, and I’ve been very happy to recommend them to everyone I know.

Peter is not only an arborist, he has excellent symmetrical knowledge about TREE health and disease.

We had a 75 year old oak tree on our driveway. It was hit by lightning about four year ago tree, it survived for a while, but started decaying at roots.
We called Peter for an evaluation and he was among the the 10 quotes we received the most reasonable one of them all.

It’s a was 100 + ft tree. It could have easily taken two days to finish. Mr. Pete came Saturday morning with his two assistant Mr. Ray and his wife they knocked it down in four hours, and did all the cleanup. They did an absolutely amazing job. We give five star to this man and his crew.

One thing I wanna mention if you try to call him doing the business hour he might be on the job. The best thing is leave a number and he will call you right back, sometime they’re very, very busy especially during the storm but we all need to appreciate their hard work and I did realize that it was not a very easy job.

As far as price Mr. Pete was top on my list absolutely a reasonable price, and on the top he did some extra work cut branches in my backyard with no cost attached, but I appreciated his kindness and made a new friend!
