I recently had the pleasure of working with Steve's Pool Service, and I can't say enough good things about them! Today, Rich, Josh, and Connor came to remove our old pool heater, and their service was exceptional from start to finish.

The team was incredibly polite and professional. They efficiently disconnected and removed the entire heater unit, and they even went above and beyond by removing the cement slab the heater had been resting on. Their attention to detail was impressive—they left the area looking spotless.

What really stood out was their commitment to ensuring everything was done right. They had to make a quick trip to purchase a new chlorinator because the old one was outdated, and they took the time to explain everything to me thoroughly. They showed me how to add chlorine tabs (they kindly supplied 4-5 for me) and how to adjust the new dial to control the chlorine flow. They also demonstrated how they had safely turned off the gas at both the pump area and the house to ensure there was no risk of it being accidentally turned on.

Rich, Josh, and Connor were not only skilled and efficient but also incredibly kind and patient. I truly felt that I received great value for a significant job, and their professionalism was top-notch. If you need pool services, I highly recommend Steve's Pool Service—they are a standout team who go the extra mile!

This service came out in mid-July to open our pool. We were going to keep it closed but decided instead to open it late.
We had worked with them three years prior to this but the pool had been kept closed for two years because we had a new baby and were working that out for a couple of summers.
They removed the cover, rinsed the deck, started the skimmer and added 1 lb of shock. They did not scrub the pool walls, charge the filter with DE, clean, well…anything.
The men who performed the service said they’d come back to complete the cleaning once we had gotten on the weekly maintenance schedule. When we tried to set that up, we were told that we couldn't be fit into the schedule.
I believe charging a pool filter, cleaning and vacuuming are part of pool opening. I believe this because I watched this same pool service perform these services for a couple of years prior.
Steve’s says their openings don’t include that service. I asked for money back. They refused.
Decide yourself. I feel ripped off but maybe I’m the jerk off. I don’t know or care. I just wanted this info out there while people are trying to do the suburban living thing.

They closed the pool today. Excellent job. I used them after being dissatisfied with a competitor’s prior service and pricing. Will be using Steve’s Pool Services again.

As always Steve and his team are the best. I had water level down and they did the closing in less than 45 mins. Looking forward to possibly getting a new liner in the spring.

Several companies I called to get service would not return my calls for help removing my broken heater unit and replacing my pool salt cell.
