I had the pleasure of using Katamount Construction to repair a ceiling in one of my bathrooms. I received an immediate response, and they came out within 2 days to give me a quote. The quote was fair, and the appointment was immediately set. I couldn’t be more than happy with the results. While another company refused the job because it was too small, they didn’t. (See the before and after pictures).They were extremely professional; they came in, did what needed to be done and cleaned up after themselves. I recently hired Katamount Construction for a kitchen renovation, as well as an entire first floor update, including updating all of the floors.
The team was not only perfectionists on their work, but they completed the entire job in just 6 weeks. That included removing two walls, taking the kitchen down to the studs, installing all cabinets and appliances, and installing a new floor.
Their master carpenter David might be the most amazing contractor I ever hired. He made sure that every inch of my kitchen was done perfectly, and even designed and built a hood vent that wasn’t part of the original plans. The best part is that they had the most competitive pricing vs 4 other contractors I bid against. I cannot recommend them enough and plan to use them for future home renovations.

These guys did a tremendous job on our roof replacement!!!!! Not only that, but they meticulously looked for and fixed related issues inside our house, and even did some bathroom repair. Alberto is excellent! Would recommend!

Contacted Katamount for a deck project. Scheduled estimate online. Alberto showed up prepared with sample decking. We decided to move forward that day. Project was completed within 2 weeks and the job was executed perfectly down to the finest detail. Nice group of guys..very polite

I closed on the purchase of my first home in November of last year. Immediately after moving in, one of my sunlights had a leak that dripped through the attic into the bedroom below. I had another contractor replace the flashing and install an ice guard in a dip in the back of the house where the slope was not flush (there was almost a step down to the main roof, where the water would collect). More recently, a second skylight began to leak badly. I contacted Katamount Construction for a price quote. They completed the roof in a day - while it is a smaller roof, this included adding plywood to fix the start of the slope of the roof over the bathroom, so it began flush with the main roof, installing a ridge vent (the house was originally built in 1930 and this was not added with any subsequent roofing jobs), and replaced all three of my skylights. The roof is beautiful - the first picture I took from my backyard (steep slope - I live on a mountain), and the second is one Alberto took and sent to me.

I am so, so happy with my roof and will be contacting Katamount for future home improvement projects as well as recommending them to everyone I know.

I also want to add that the pricing for everything was transparent - I knew exactly what I was paying for the roof, the skylights, and the debris removal. I’m going to add that the price I paid for the roof alone (not including the skylights and dumpster) was only a little more than I had paid another contractor for two temporary repairs.

Also need to add that it was raining Friday night into Saturday morning, and the work was done Friday, so I had zero leaks for the first rainfall since I moved in and that has seriously reduced my anxiety.

We contacted Katamount for an estimate on replacing our existing two-level wood deck. We initially asked for wood again, as we assumed that would the most cost effective but Alberto gave us such a reasonable estimate that we were able to upgrade to a beautiful new trex deck. The crew was prompt, neat and hard-working and it was done in record time, The new deck looks awesome and really enhances the exterior of our house. Katamount can add us to their list of satisfied customers as we expect to enlist their help on more projects!

We engaged Katamount to replace our leaking roof, update a bathroom damaged by the leaking roof, and modify a wall between our kitchen and living room. It was great working with one contact to do it all. It saved a lot of time and was much more cost-efficient.

Katamount removed the old roof, fixed all the issues with the structure underneath, and had the roof back together in one day. They even updated the structure for better ventilation.

Katamount knocked out a pass-through window between the kitchen and living room, making the space much more open. David and the guys did a great job dealing with the electric behind the wall and blending the transition between the rooms.

Katamount did a great job taking our bathroom idea and making it a reality. They told us what we needed to get so they could put it all together for us. They had to modify the room's structure to make it all work, and they did a great job with it.

It was awesome working with Alberto, David, and the guys. Alberto was always quick to respond and helped us get out of a couple of issues with our design. David and the guys were always courteous and clean. We are already working on our next project and will be giving Alberto a call when we're ready to move ahead with it.

I had been searching for a reputable construction company to replace my siding for some time, as I am very particular about both the materials used and the qualifications of the contractors performing the work. As an engineer, I carefully selected the materials and outlined every detail of the project, which is why I prefer to work directly with the contractor rather than with salespeople, project managers, or other intermediaries, as is often the case with many companies. This typical approach can often result in inflated costs, with multiple parties involved, and as a customer, I end up paying far more than necessary.

After reading positive reviews about Alberto and his company, I decided to reach out to him directly. He responded promptly and arrived the following day. I provided a detailed list of requirements, including specific brands of house wrap and window trim, and Alberto was able to accommodate every request without hesitation. The pricing he provided was fair and in line with my expectations, unlike other companies that quoted much higher prices. Additionally, Alberto showed professionalism and transparency by deducting the cost of unused materials at the end of the project.

Throughout the entire process, I communicated directly with Alberto and the lead worker, and I was consistently impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. They were respectful and ensured that every aspect of the job was completed to my specifications, even going so far as to add extra rain drips to some windows without my request. They worked diligently, took their time, and produced high-quality results. Each day, they made sure to clean the patio and surrounding areas.

The project was completed ahead of schedule, thanks to the addition of extra workers when needed. I have since recommended Alberto and his team to my neighbors, and everyone in my townhouse community has praised the quality of the work.

I don’t typically leave reviews, as I often find some aspect of the work that could be improved and don’t want to give 3 stars. However, Alberto and his team did such a great job on my siding replacement that I feel compelled to share my experience. I want to support their business and help them gain more customers, as I believe they deserve to be successful. I was in need of a new roof and had 5 companies come out to give me estimates. Alberto from Katamount gave me a very good price and understood exactly what I wanted done. Not just the roof but also paint the house add some new moulding and give my house a complete make over. We couldn’t be happier!! Alberto was hands on during the entire process and his employees, especially Steven were always on time, cleaned up after the days work. If you’re looking to have work done and need a trusted company you must call Katamount. Look at the pictures. No words needed. Not so bright brother hired this company to replace 12 windows for my dad ( the homeowner) house. They Cracked vinyl siding around windows while removing old windows. Left open the sides around the window after removal,during 2 days of rain. Wrapping around windows is horrific. WOW! Pictures dont lie. When i tried showing Alberto the bad work, he walked away refusing to talk about the work. Unprofessional.The workers knew i was unhappy and began to harrass me. True story. Also, i have no problem with music being played , but not at full volume. Shows inconsideration and unprofessionalism. These are real pictures if their work. Dont be fooled by reviews. You just got called out by your shotty work. Can also you supply legal documentation for your workers?

We hired Katamount to replace 12 windows with interior and exterior trim on our home. We were on a tight deadline to get moved in and they made sure we were ready in time. The guys were professional, showed up every day and worked through some tough weather to get it done for us. Our house is older with multiple layers of siding so it wasn’t an easy job but they handled it great. We’re really happy with how everything came out.

We’re aware there’s a 1-star review on here from a family member who lives on our property. He was not involved in hiring this company and did not speak for us. We hired them and we’re the ones who can speak to the quality of work and we have zero complaints. They made our deadline and did the job right. Would definitely hire them again.
