Reviews of local pros in Monroeville, New Jersey

Excellent crew performed tree trimming in a constrained physical location with no issues at all. Professional services and great cleanup. Customer satisfaction and feedback was of primary importance!

The crew was well equipped and very knowledgeable! Completed the job quickly and cleaned up nicely. Would definitely have them do all my tree work!!!

This company came out extremely quickly with the entire crew even including the boss man himself to take care of a leaning dead tree for myself and my neighbor. I am extremely impressed with how professional and pleasant this company was to work with!

It was like watching a choreographed dance. The guys were absolutely amazing. I have had other trees removed by other companies. Now I know what professional tree services should look like. Removed the tree, ground the stump and cleaned up in half a day. You would never know there had been a tree there. Will never use another company again. A pleasure from start to finish.

I am very happy with the entire experience working with Bergholz's Tree Experts. They removed a 30ft nuisance tree with precision so as not to damage an existing fence, and ground the stump perfectly flat so that I can replace the damaged fence . They sent a team of 4 hardworking men who were efficient and skilled. No problems and their service was fairly priced, I highly recommend them! ~Swedesboro NJ

The crew arrived promptly, set to work, and removed the two trees contracted in short order. They maintained respect for the property, and cleaned up afterward leaving the grounds as good as they found it.

The crew did a great job and were able to take down that big tree without any trouble. They cleaned everything up like it never even was there. Very happy with the service. Thank you.

I would recommend this group to anyone!
Very safe and efficient!
Cut down my very large tree (75") in 3 hours.
Did a fabulous job of cleanup!
I would not hesitate to recommend

The entire Bergholz Team were terrific from beginning to end. The entire process went smoothly and quickly. Very professional and courteous throughout. I will be spreading the word to family and friends.

I noticed my huge oak tree had a dangerous split down the middle, after some recent storms. Gunar Bergholz came right out early in the morning to check it out. By 4:30 that afternoon his large crew had it safely removed. Since it was so large and near my septic system, they used their crane to gently place each chainsawed branch down to the lawn. They feed all the branches into their chipper, raked all the leaves and sticks from my lawn, then hauled away the giant trunk pieces. I couldn’t have been happier!

Bergholz Tree service did an excellent job . I called and asked for a quote , they promptly came to my home. The crew that removed the tree were quick and courteous . Thank you for a positive experience !

The Bergholz's Team professionally trimmed the Pear Trees that border my property. Nicely done and they cleaned up perfectly. Beat the ice storm and I did not lose a limb to the ice.

The Bergholtz team did an AMAZING job trimming and removing trees on our property. Some of these trees were extremely high and the team brought in a bucket truck to do the trimming. They were efficient, courteous and respectful of my (and my neighbors) property. We could not have been happier with the work that was done and I highly recommend them!!!

Excellent service and communication- had a confusion with scheduling under the new system but Mike was very professional. We were highly satisfied with the work done removing two large dead trees and trimming one close to the roof.

Tony was there with the crew first thing in the morning so everyone knew exactly what to do. Work was done quickly, thoroughly, and with no damage to our grass or shrubs. Cleanup was neatly done. Tony followed up with a phone call to check with me. Satisfied customer.

Bergholz's Great Tree Service Company Free Estimates & Great Price. The crew arrived at my house to remove a White Pine and also grinded the Stump. The crew was very organized and efficient. I recommend them for tree removal.

Great job by the crew that came to my property and did the work cleanup was good. It took a little longer I believe than they thought, but there was no extra charge and they continued the next day and got all the work done very satisfied and would recommend this company to anyone.

Can I give 100 stars? Bergholz swooped in like super heroes and helped me out when I was in a tough spot.

I had been using another tree company for years and three weeks ago asked them to do a small job for me- a few branches needed to come off a dogwood so I can get a fence upgrade. They said no prob and would fit me in. Three weeks go by and two days before the fence company is supposed to be here they told me too bad, your job isn't big enough for us to care. Despite the fact that we get major tree work done every few years and have paid them thousands and thousands over the years. The name begins with E and there's nothing "right" about the way they treated me.

So here I go, having to find someone who can come out within two days, or the fence work would have to be pushed back. My deposit wept at the thought. I already had time requested off at work. First call was to Bergholz as I knew their name, and knew they were local. A very kind woman listened to my tale of woe (my apologies for not remembering her name). She immediately was like oh yeah we have to make this right for you. Stand by, I'm gonna call Tony, he'll give you a ring soon.

Tony called me within 10 minutes. Said he was doing an estimate near me in an hour and would swing by after. Tony was prompt with arriving even after squeezing me in. Can I say what a great dude? Because wow, what a great dude!! He didn't make me feel stupid for needing a last minute small job that I knew was coming for a month. He gave me a fair estimate and then said I'll send the crew over today to get this done for you. Again, true to his word, within an hour two very skilled workers were here and got the job done super quick. They cleaned everything up and respected my neighbor's property, as my neighbor was kind enough to grant the crew access.

I cannot thank the team at Bergholz enough for bailing me out of a tough situation, SAME DAY. Our property requires major pruning work every few years and going forward we'll be using Bergholz. My father in Pilesgrove also has a property that requires frequent tree servicing and he is also going to switch to using Bergholz in the future after I told him what happened.

Thank you so much, you have a customer for life now!

Gunnar and his crew did an amazing job removing the tree in our back yard. They were extremely professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree service.

I would recommend this company in a minute.
They gave me a quote and a time.
They came in early before the date but they ask first before and I agreed.
They were great setting up and they did a wonderful job for me everything was cleaned up and you couldn't tell where the tree was.
Thank you Bergholz's for your great job.

Bergholz tree company responded very quickly to a tree that fell on my property but was blocking a lane of the road. They scured the area and returned later to take the rest of the tree down and take it away. Very professional bunch of guys and gal Carly with the billing details. Would highly recommend them for all your tree 🌳 needs.
Today they returned to grind the stump. They were very nice to remove the rock i had placed around the tree bottom and ground the stump down and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Bergholz for all you tree and stump needs.
