Where to begin? Sears came out to service our GE Cafe fridge, which was a little over a year old on 9/28/2023. The repair technician finished around 5 pm and stated, "You'll know if it's cold tomorrow if the repairs worked." We left with the technician to attend a soccer game and returned around 9:30 pm. The next morning when we went downstairs, we noticed water coming out from the bottom of the fridge and ultimately into the basement.

We immediately shut off the water in the house and realized we had a major issue on our hands. On top of this, the fridge wasn't cooling! When we called Sears back, they explained that they would send another technician out but couldn't assist with the damage. We eventually reached the correct individual and filed a damage claim. We rescheduled another appointment for a Sears technician to come out and fix the fridge, and they said they needed to order more parts. The service appointment was rescheduled for 10/27. The technician came out and said they wouldn't work on the fridge until we signed a waiver exonerating them from any further damage. What reputable company does this? We refused to do this, and they refused to work on the fridge. The technician also explained that they don't touch the water line, so it must have been installed incorrectly from the very beginning. It's strange that the unit never leaked for 600+ days straight but coincidentally started leaking hours after the Sears technician left our home. We decided to hire GE to fix the fridge since Sears is no longer the reputable company they used to be. If they don't honor our damage claim, I've already hired an attorney, and we'll be more than glad to file a lawsuit, as well as report them to the State of New Jersey Consumer Affairs. Buyer beware!

Technicians canceled on two different occasion. They have an 9 hour window where you are basically waiting for someone to show up. So they cancel an hour or two hours before. Very unprofessional. Wonder why Sears are all closing. Horrible customer service and huge waste of time. Have four children at home and a broken washer still wasted a week booking appointments. Would give negative stars if possible.

Mike was tremendously efficient and solved the problem. He explained it to us so that we can also understand. I would highly recommend him. Excellent work.

Sear’s specialist was willing to explain the improper placement of my shelf items and circulation issues may cause irregular temperatures for my food items. The circulation of air below and behind each shelve in refrigerator is very important! When you know better you do better…right. 9.7.24

While my technician was polite and competent (fixed my dryer issue) he left my dryer pulled out in my VERY small laundry closet and we cannot move it back. :( And the 8-hour window that Sears gives you is absolutely ridiculous!!!! I had to completely change my work schedule and the guy came at 415. What a waste of a day!!

This is the 8th visit and the washing machine need to be replaced it's still not fixed. Technician started machine it doesn't fill up and then he asked to put clothes in the machine which he just left in the machine the clothes wet and walked out. He wasn't even there a good 15 minutes it's recorded on my Ring doorbell. I had to wring out the clothes and bail out the water. Got someone from the protection plan on the phone and he would not verify that the machine needs replacement. This being going on since May I'm at my witts end and about to take legal action with Nydia Han channel 6 action news consumer reporter. So moving forward how are you going to resolve this matter. Also this is costing me money at the laundry mat and a $50 laundry reimbursement the gave me in May and we going in September is ridiculous. I hope to hear from you very soon. A very disappointed 😞 😔 customer.

Thomas has been the only reliable person ever working for Sears. He shows up, is courteous and gets the job done. Give him a raise! I have had no shows, no call backs. The website and company in general is impossible to communicate with. If I didn't have appliances under the extended warranty I would not use them.

The services that I received today regarding my wall oven has left me completely satisfied. The Technician was very professional, courteous and efficient in his work. I will refer others to Sears Appliance/Home Warranty.
    Thank you,

AVOID THIS ORGANIZATION AT ALL COSTS. I booked the appointment days in advance. They requested confirmation the day prior, which I did. My appointment windows was 8 am - 5 pm. At 3:30 pm, when I still hadn't received notification, I began calling and only getting automated systems. After 30 minutes and switching phones, I finally got a real person who informed me that someone would reach out to me with an update. I received a call 19 minutes before the end of the service window to reschedule my appointment to the next week as the technician was not going to make it today. I waited at home all day long after taking a day off work for nothing. I asked for a manager and was informed one would be texted to call me. That never happened. Completely unreliable and not customer oriented.

Frankie G, the service technician, was on-time, professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what he was doing with our Central A/C. as well as answer all our questions. He also made some recommendations. I would recommend asking for him for any problems with a central a/c system.

Tom was great. But since our oven is old we decided to replace
the oven rather than get it repaired.

The technician did a great job repairing our range. He gets 5 stars.

However the Sears Home Hub system is very frustrating to deal with, particularly if there is any kind of an issue, as I had with a part order. The system makes it very difficult to talk to a person. And my experience with the live reps was not very satisfying. I give the system 2, maybe 1 star.

Trying to get in touch of a person is horrible. My first scheduled appointment Was from 1pm to 5pm. I received notification at 9:30 AM that my technician was in Route. My second appointment was for 8 am, And I received a confirmation that my technician would be here between 1 and 5. There have been website issues for over 2 weeks, and I have not been able to get any further information. I think it would be beneficial for your customers if you did a system upgrade.

Technician did a good job. He came in completed his task cleaned up and left, no complains.
