Original price was a complete RIP OFF! We were getting gutter covers. Original quoted price was 6500 which was absurd. Salesman came down to 4000, which we agreed to. My husband was having doubts on the pricing as the date approached to have the covers installed, so he canceled. The 3rd party contractor did not receive the message and showed up to our house on the scheduled day. We called LeafFilter to let them know we called and canceled, but contractor showed up anyway. Somehow, our salesman was able to bring the price down to 1800 day of!!! This company likes to scam its customers and basically create their own astronomical pricing. The 3rd party contractor did a good job, but I DO NOT recommend LeafFilter. Please get multiple estimates before going with them.

Overall, very happy with the product, seems tonwork very well so far, but I was a little surprised after getting the sales pitch where I was told that all employees are leaf fitter employees, to see a third-party subcontractor come to my house to do the installation. He did a good job and was respectful of my property, but His English was very limited and needed a cell phone to translate. He told me that this was not his full-time job and normally he does epoxy flooring. This was not a problem as I said he did a good job it was just not what I expected Based on what I was told.

I believe the product is good but the service is not. My LeafFilter gutter system was installed in the dark with the installer using a flashlight. We are left with some bent poorly installed guards. I called for a service call using their “Lifetime warranty”, but they wanted to charge me for the service call.

Extremely thorough, knowledgeable. Explained all in detail. Definitely recommend.

They sent an installer who didn't speak english. Tried to explain to him to remove gutter heating cable before installation and move cable tv wire to the side. Didn't understand and cut cable wire leading into house in half to remove it. Called customer service while he was still there and was told a manager would call me back in few minutes. That was 3/21/25 and still no call back no nothing. Installer left and cable still not fixed. Had to spend $40 bucks for parts/tool to repair cable myself and now I have to climb up on roof to do it which is the reason I hired leaffilter in the first place so I wouldn't have to go on roof again,
They had no problem cashing my check and have ignored several emails I have sent. would not recommend them if this is how they treat customers.

We had to postpone our installation, Leaf Filter said no problem. We rescheduled and Mathew did a wonderful job.

Richard was friendly and knew about the product very well. He answered all my questions and concerns and it was a pleasure dealing with him.

Gutter guards are made of good quality but installers are all independents which don’t normally do everything salesman preach. “ align gutters, clean down spouts and insure proper water flow”. It’s a joke. Try and get a hold of someone to express you frustration? regional/service managers are also a joke. Don’t use this company!! I am not a competitor looking to attack them but an angry customer that spent a lot of money for poor service!!

I had LeafFilter installed the end of 2018, the first 2 installation appointments NO SHOW and no call, The third time they did show up and the installer finished in the dark. They have been working OK but I have 2 areas of my roof that are slightly pitched and I find the debris just sits on the gutters. This past spring I noticed some rain water just going over my gutters. I went on my roof to investigate to find the mesh was clogged with the spring pollen it those 2 areas. I contacted service and after no returned calls and some email exchanges a service tech showed up. I explained the situation and I told him I already cleaned off the gutter from the pollen, so there was nothing to see except the photos I took. He said they need to install a coarser mesh but it wasn't in stock yet. The service manager told me to reach out in a month to see if they had it. After a number of tries to contact him her responded and said it was in but they were very busy and would try to get me in in a week or so, that was 4 weeks ago. I have been trying weekly to get a service and now I can't get anyone to call me back.
This was a very expensive installation and a very painful one, if the stuff worked better I would be happy but at this point frustrated.

Was having a problem with clogged drain spouts. Seen on TV and received in the mail a brochure on leafFilter. So I called and the salesman was here in a few days and the job was done the next day. The installer arrived around 2p and the job was done within 2 hours.

Service was great, both the sales rep and the installers were knowledgeable and friendly. We already had LF on part of our house before a remodel, so for this job they were careful to explain that we would have two warranties going forward. The installers were quick, efficient, pretty quiet and left my property immaculately clean.

I invested in these gutter guards last summer for piece of mind and to avoid having to get up on a ladder multiple times per year - but I have only come away wishing I had just used the money to pay someone to clean out gutters on a seasonal basis.

Our first fall was great. They do block leaves and debris quite well. Winter, however was another story. After snow - daytime melting refreezes when temperatures drop and the guards ice over VERY easily. Further melting rolls right over the gutter entirely. When I called about this the response was to salt or sand them as part of seasonal home maintenance. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Additionally, the work is contracted out to... whoever? It's never the same person - no one who actually works for Leaf Filter - so quality and experience varies. I paid to have a couple downspouts and elbows replaced when we purchased the system. They were left off the install and I had to call and have someone return to do that portion of the job. Video attached of what I discovered today. Just garbage work. Water bypassing the elbow and flowing directly onto my foundation.

Would not recommend.
