We recently had arborist Evan Ford’s crew of pruners trim the trees and shrubs in our yard. It had been about 18 months since Sav-A-Tree was last at our home. We were very pleased with their work! The yard looks so much better now.

We have worked with SavATree many, many times over the years. Some work has been “post storms” and other general maintenance. Jody has always been very responsive and very competent in his work. We can never thank him enough for his help after Hurricane Sandy, when a tree fell on our home. His crew is professional and courteous. The clean up after the work is also impressive. I contacted SaveATree this spring to have 1 or 2 trees evaluated for pruning. Jody, the arborist, scheduled the appointment with me, he arrived on time and walked my property with me as we discussed several trees and shrubs. Jody did a complete evaluation of my trees and we agreed on appropriate work to be done and cost. The work was scheduled for several weeks later and Jody called to confirm time and date He worked with my neighbors to make sure they were aware of work being done and his crew finished in a couple hours. The work was done as agreed and his crew was very neat and cleaned up all traces of prunings and branches. Jody was very knowledgable and up-front about tree health and recommended work. I highly recommend Jody and SaveATrree if you value your trees.

We had a very large and damaged old Red Oak tree in our small backyard here in South Orange. Ryan was very responsive and sympathetic, as it was a tough decision for us to have the tree taken down. Ultimately, the tree could not be safely saved. His crew did an incredible job in an extremely tight space. Overhead wires, our garage and our neighbor’s garage…it was an involved removal. We appreciated the crew’s efforts in protecting our yard…they also did a great job cleaning up after the tree was down.

Knowledgeable arborist. The trees are responding well to the kelp based fertilizer, helpful in the drought conditions. Service staff is punctual and thorough.

Outstanding service. My lawn never looked so lush. They even came back to do a reapplication as the weeds in my back yard got rambunctious after prior weed application. The second time helped and they’re coming a third time to be sure to knock them all out.

I am always pleased with the consistent quality & exceptional service I receive from SavATree. My account managers, Jody & Evan have been responsive to my inquiries & at times immediate emergency requests (ie- storm related damage & limb removal) over the years.

I saved more than $1000 this year by not signing up the service, and I waited to make sure if this problem is from my lawn or this company. Last year by fall, half of my lawn was complete covered by weed and the other half was gone from grubs, every single time that I called and mentioned my concerns, the answer was dont worry this will be fixed after a year or two but at the end my lawn was completely stressed and damaged. This year I did a favor to my lawn and I took over the nutrition and weed control so far it looks way better than last year. I picked save a tree although the service was the highest proposed between the others in the area but I picked them to make sure I am working with professionals. Out every 10 emails I sent maybe I got one response back. and at end just after I kept telling them that my lawn has grubs, they just added handful of seeds. If I did not treat my lawn for grubs this spring again I would have an ugly lawn like last year.

I asked our arborist for a quote for hedge trimming and had one in a couple of days. After accepting the quote, SavATree came the very next day and completed the job.

The technician that came was very knowledgeable about all types of trees. He explained what was happening every step of the way in the treatment applied to my tree to kill the bug infestation. Very satisfied with the technician and the treatment to save my tree. The only downside to the entire experience is that it took a while for them to come out and treat the tree. I had to call and remind them.

I received a prompt return phone call to my initial inquiry. I received a very detailed estimate and by far, the best price among all of the estimates I obtained. The team was right on time and finished the job quickly. The team leader asked me to walk the yard with him after completion. We discovered they missed cutting off two tree limbs. Without any complaints or pushback, they brought their equipment back into my yard and took care of it. Finally, they made sure to clean up all the debris. Without any gestation, I would recommend this company. And the next time I need tree work done, I will be calling them again. Thank you!

Tree trimmers came on time & did a very good job pruning and shaping 6 trees on my property. They also cleaned up the area after they finished.

Very nice worker (Jacob Giraldo) from SavATree. And very competent service (Kelp treatment for my dogwoods and cherry blossom trees). He explained the nature of the kelp treatment and its benefits to the trees. Very pleased with this company.

Savatree has helped to make my garden a really beautiful place. Ryan applied a fruit tree spray to my cherry and apple trees and for the first time since I planted them 10 years ago, they have produced amazing amounts of delicious fruit. They have also trimmed bushes and will be pruning and fertilizing in the fall. I love knowing I can count on Ryan and his team to keep my trees healthy.

So far so good with SavATree! The office team I've spoken to are very professional and welcoming. My arborist Eric is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all my questions and I legitimately know more about my property now. Scheduling hit a bump or two because of the weather, but Jacob showed up as expected for the first treatments. In addition to "tree-age" (I'll see myself out) SavATree did some much needed pruning and clean-up for me. Juan and his team were not only accommodating with some minor last-minute requests, but they were also quite fast! Also, their online portal makes everything very easy to keep track of and pay for. Two thumbs up!

Greg Elledge and his crew did a great job trimming our very large trees and removing an old maple. It is nice working with an arborist who understands and can treat tree conditions.
