I had Ampacity install my electric vehicle charger for my Tesla. I am extremely happy with everything.
Before I started calling electricians for this work I did some reading and saw a lot of talk about what some people call the "Tesla Tax", that is when an electrician charges you 2-3 times as much to do the work because it's for a Tesla. The other contractors that I called first did just that, they wanted between $1,200-1,800 to install my Tesla Wall Connector.
Then I spoke to Andrew, the owner of Ampacity. I sent him some pictures via text and described how I wanted it, he quoted me $750.
We scheduled and he came to do the work soon after. The installation went great, everything looks perfect and neat. And when it was time to write the check and I asked the final price, he said "$750, it's always the quoted price".
I can tell that he was very knowledgeable and experienced which made me feel at ease. I also am happy to find an electrician that I can trust.

Andrew did a panel upgrade on a rental property. He is a true professional. Very thorough, honest and really knows his stuff. There are no lies or sneaky expenses. Also very accommodating to my schedule. I highly recommend him and will NEVER use anyone else.

I recently purchased a Tesla and wanted to install a charger at home. I found Andrew and he was able to offer professional advice about current electrical infrastructure of my house. I ended up not needing his help to install a new charger in my house but only needed to purchase a mobile connector and an adaptor for my Tesla.
