I give Astre Appliance excellent review.josh was professional and courteous. He installed a new electric pump for my speed Queen washer. If I need another appliance service I definitely will call Astre.

There is another one star review which is the exact same situation we had.

We called for a dishwasher repair and Joshua came, charged us for 100 and made the leaking worse. He said he’ll need to order a part and be back in 1-2 days and we can apply the 100 to the total fees.

48 hours later, we called multiple times, left messages, left voicemails, emailed. Nothing came back, have to look for another person for this now.

I know things can get busy sometimes. And I’m not sure if it’s just we are not a big money they can make out of so we are low priority (I know it is). The least you can do is just tell us that you can’t do thjs in 3 days or a week. So we won’t be waiting on you. Maybe if you are a big problem, they will be more helpful for you. But explore other options before choosing them.

UPDATE: we received calls and they are undergoing phone and messaging changes. Joshua had our dishwasher fixed in no time after getting the part. They also helped fixing an extra issue.

Josh quickly identified the problem with our refrigerator, ordered the replacement part, and installed it in minutes. The fridge is like new again. Pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Michael came to the house today and handled the issue we were having in the way we've come to expect from Astre. Seems there were a number of issues on their end we were not aware of that led to some mixed signals and confusion on both sides. I am happy to say that they are working hard to resolve our issue to our 100% satisfaction and we are happy to recommend them once again.

Great experience overall! We had an issue with our gas dryer and Mike came by and diagnosed it within a few minutes. They didn't have the parts on hand, but Astre was very clear with their communication, came back when they said, and Mike had the dryer fixed in an hour. Easy to deal with, friendly, and got the job done. Not much more I could have asked for. Thank you.

I’ve used Astre Appliance a few times since moving to NJ and every time they come in a timely manner, their diagnostics are on point, needed parts are ordered quickly and they have your appliances in tip top shape. They find the most cost effective way to do the repair & have great recommendations for appliance products, which I really appreciate. Mike & crew are courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this company!

I wish I could give more than five stars! Both my washer and dryer broke the week before Christmas. I called in the morning and was given a same-day appointment with a 4 hour time frame. Josh showed up promptly and fixed both washer and dryer in under an hour. He was professional knowledgeable, and left all neat and clean. The pricing was more than fair, and less than I had anticipated. I have used this company in the past to replace my dryer drum and had a similar great experience. This is a special family run company, who are honest and take pride in their work. I highly recommend Astre!

Astre is the best! Have had them out a few times everything fixed quickly, very professional, and friendly.

Calling for appliance repair can be overwhelming to say the least. Sometimes it takes weeks for a repairman to even show up. Well I am happy to give a 5 star review ( wish I could give more). Called for refrigerator repair and within 24 hours Joshua was at our door. He diagnosed the problem ordered the parts and was back in a week. Astre sent a text with price and set an appointment quickly. The price was very fair and service was exceptional. Thank you Astre Appliance and a very knowledgeable Joshua.

Mike diagnosed the issue with my oven in two minutes and had it repaired the next day. I accidentally missed my repair appointment and Mike came that same evening to fix my oven. He was so kind and took time to squeeze my job in after he was supposed to be finished for the day. Mike has fixed many of my appliances in the past and I only have good things to say about him and the quality of his work.

I’ve had Astre come out for repairs twice, and both times, their customer service was impeccable. First time, my oven stopped heating up. I tried to get the screws out and make the repair myself, but they were so stripped there was no hope. Josh came out and actually gave me a discount because he barely had to take the panel off. He was quick, efficient, and kind.

Second time, my dryer stopped being able to sense dry clothes. I ended up realizing that it was still under warranty and Astre totally understood. Josh also came out then and assessed what the issue was right away.

Both times, I called and got an appointment within a day.

10/10, will use them anytime I have an appliance issue in future.

The technician promptly diagnosed that my broken freezer and provided a fair quote for replacement. He returned within a week to install new unit efficiently and professionally. His friendly service and quick turnaround make this company an excellent choice for appliance repairs.

4/9/25 - Changing my review to 1 star. The part they replaced stopped working within 2-3 weeks. They have been giving me a chase to come back and fix it. I have been told 3 times that someone will be back to replace the faulty part, and I'm still waiting. Now it's been a month and I know that I have been duped. Please be careful when you avail their services.

Had a great experience. Icemaker conked out. Astre worked to fit my schedule. The text system is excellent. Appointment reminders, appointment time window, and technician on the way alerts. Chase had the replacement ordered before he left the house and returned two days later for the installation. One of the smoothest processes I've encountered. Highly recommend.

Contacted Astre Appliance Service, through their website, on a Sunday night because my ice maker stopped working. Received a call back within 20 minutes with a commitment to visit on Tuesday (my problem was not an emergency). Was told I would be contacted Tuesday morning regarding the time service would arrive. Tuesday morning received a text from Micheal B. with a time window. Then another text when he was 15 minutes away.
At a time when service companies and service people are not always reliable and professional Astre Appliance and their people are first rate. Communication was excellent. Professionalism top shelf. Knowledge beyond reproach. I would not hesitate to use Astre again if the need arises and I require appliance repair in my home. Extremely happy with their service and their staff.

I called Whirlpool for my dishwasher. Two men showed up and told me since the sprayers were not working I had to buy a new motor! Then Astre reassessed the problem and all I needed to do was flush the machine with Mike’s Amazing Vinegar!

Thank you for the quick repair guys. Fridge stopped cooling on Monday - was fixed by Wednesday. Seamless, flawless and would recommend to anybody in need of any appliance repair

My husband and I just contacted them for a broken dishwasher start button. On the one hand - they were very punctual. Showed up when they said they were going to and had decent communication throughout the process. They were able to repair the dishwasher. It was slightly annoying to have to wait over a week for the replacement part when they said it'd take 1-2 biz days, but I'll give them a pass on that.

On the negative side, the price they charged to repair was outrageous. $600 for a part that at most cost $200 and a repair that took under 15 minutes. The dishwasher itself is only worth maybe $900. While performed satisfactorily, we are left feeling a little ripped off and wishing we went with a different service vendor.

EDIT: I'm improving the review to 5 stars. After this review, the company did go to great lengths to help make the situation right. It turned out the repair failed and the dishwasher ultimately needed to be replaced. They helped find a good one, at a great deal, and got it ordered and installed very quickly. I appreciate that the company is family owned and they really tried to make the situation right.
