Unhinged employees work here, beware and use a different company.

I was in touched with COLDSTAT Rep. (John) for four months and just when I was few week away from getting ready to move my equipment. John told me to send him all the information and he would send me a quote.
(1) Send him all the info on.
(2) Followed with a call and text message directly to John cell phone (no reply)
(3) called John cell phone after the weekend on Monday. (no reply)
(4) Tuesday called directly to company office, they connected me to John who was in the office but apparently was not picking my phone call.
(5) HERE IS THE INTERSTING PART (John gets on the phone acting extremely rude. why are you calling me 1000 times, if you keep calling me I am not going to do the job. this is after this person has wasted four months of my time, and additional one more week for just being a lazy and rude person.
(6) he later texted me saying we are too busy and he will not be able to do the job. (not surprised at all).

Then I called the office and ask to speak to someone to file a proper compliant. they connected me to some person (ION) who I think totally not the owner ( not even 0.0000000000000001% of this company. who was even more of a rude person than John is. I guess its clear why this company lacks majorly in customer service department.

I was able to call MNS/Installations.. the person on the phone was super nice. I explained what kind of situation COLDSTAT have put me in, and she was able to get all the info and provided a quote within a day.

Here are some pointer for the owner who was just as rude and pretending to act as the owner. (ION)

1. when customer call next time, response back to them on time.

2. Send your staff for some customer service training and take one or two classes yourself Mr. ION. it will do wonders for your business.

3. google meaning of "The customer is always right".

Your driver needs to slow down. Tail gating and speeding, is this how you want your company to be represented?

Horrible Horrible Horrible. I think the technicians work on commission. I asked them to fix my ice machine , gave me an estimate for about $2200 for the machines. Suggested I purchase a new one, received a quote for $5500. Looked around, found a guy from Oakland NJ. Fix the problem for $300.00 , serviced the machine for another $300. Working like brand new. Coldstat still charged $169.00 for a service call. I will take this matter to better business bureau. Zero out of 100.

Zero customer service skills. Poorly run company. Apparently the business can't function if its hot out.

Do not use ColdStat to repair a KolPak Walk-In! I called ColdStat to repair the heat wire on my 4 year old KolPak Walk in freezer in November of 2021, October 2022 it needs to be replaced again, June of 2023 it needs to be replaced again. The gasket for the door was cut and therefore installed improperly in June and again in July of 2023. The heatwire malfunctions AGAIN in December of 2023. ColdStat suggests a $4000 repair which seems absurd to me and so I get KolPak directly involved, my unit was under warranty yet ColdStat said it was not and charged me full price for parts each repair. KolPak suggested another repair company which discovered that the wiring for the heat wire had been altered (you can make any assumptions you like) which caused the 4 malfunctions, Coldstat never discovered this which makes me question the competency of their technicians. It's been a year with the properly installed KolPak certified parts that were covered under warranty and I've had ZERO issues. Yesterday I get a charge on my credit card from ColdStat, claiming I have outstanding balances. This company is not trustworty.

Terrible service, incredibly overpriced and did not complete the job. Avoid at all costs

Do not bring your cargo here. It is very inconvenient for large trucks to enter, and the worker is very rude. In my opinion, this is not a suitable place.
