Don't touch him! this guy is only trying to rob you, i had to give him more than half of the total cost up front and when he arrived to the job the owner told him he will be there 10 minutes late so he left and didn't do the job and didn't want to return the deposit.

This company cannot install manholes correctly. They installed two brand new ones in front of our home which click and clang as much as the old ones. Pointless even calling these guys. They’re too big now and don’t care about quality. The owners wife who answers the phone clearly doesn’t care about concerned residents calling in to report an issue, she made that rudely and abundantly clear.

Chris and his team were great. They did a great job replacing our main sewer line and cleaned up nicely after themselves. I would absolutely recommend them to someone else.

CHRIS DUTR replaced the old clay sewer line that was backing up.
His work team was efficient and didn't do any damage to the lawn.
Overall an excellent value compared to the uncertainty of cleaning out the lines periodically and keeping the old clay sewer lines.

Mike was so awesome. He came over last minute to check on the sewer line of a house we are purchasing. He was kind and truthful about what we would need to repair. He treated us like family. We are first-time homebuyers and have a baby and you could tell her really cared about us.

Mike was great. Roto Rooter said we should replace our sewer line. Mike read the report and said we didn’t need it & turned us away. Hard to find that kind of honesty these days. Would definitely recommend him to anyone with a problem & if we ever do need to replace our line he’s the 1st person we will call.

Highly recommend! I had an emergency at my home with a collapsed lateral sewer pipe from under my driveway apron thru to the main sewer pipe connection. They showed up on time and got immediately to work. No nonsense, no BS. Work was professional, thorough and very neat. Dutra took care of all permitting, bonding and police coverage quickly. Chris and his crew made sure that the sewer line was clear of any clogs and/or debris from the house thru to the main before they left. Job was completed in one (1) day. Thank you again!

I had Mike and his family come over and install a new water service on July 29 2019 and I could not say it more that they are absolutely professional and did a great job. Our flood happened on a Friday (July 27) and after getting a recommendation from someone I called them on Saturday afternoon and was able to schedule for Monday morning. I will say and having 25+ years in construction, Mike, his sons and crew came in did the job correctly and left like they were never there. No BS just came in and did a stellar job. It’s nice to see people who still take pride into what they do. And after 6 months, I had to call about something else after reminding Mike who I was he remembered me and helped me with another issue. Thanks Dutra for your help.

My utility room sink was often clogged and I got this company's information from my neighbor. In the evening of 6/11, the pipe below the sink broke, so I called them. Veronica picked up, I explained it was the pipe under the kitchen, not bathroom. She told me it is not emergency sewage problem, but they could sent a team to fix it next morning. So the team (Joe and Tony) came next morning, very friendly but apparently no prior knowledge of my problem. They were actually 40 minutes late because they went to a wrong town. They sounded very professional, went in and check, immediately told me they ONLY cover sewage problems and I need a plumber instead. But the company requires to charge $170 fee. I asked them to refer a plumber. Then they called the boss, then the boss told them they could do a scan for me, with a total price of $350. I was in the middle of urgent assignment and wanted the problem fixed, and they explained to me the scan would help for sure. So I told them to go ahead. Then they spent about 10 minutes to put some tapes on my floor and that was it which was laughed out loud by the plumber who helped me solve my problem later. So I gave the money to Joe and Tony, telling them "your boss is very smart, can make money out of nothing." First of all, as a professional company, they should already know if they cover the issue or not over the phone, instead of sending someone no matter how, to collect the $170 fee. Secondly, knowing exactly it is not going to help, and offering the extra service to charge $350, is not honest. I don't know how good they can do big projects, but I don't trust the motivation of the business model: it is not for solving problems for customers, but for maximizing their own profit for doing the least, or nothing. Keep the $350, and live large with it.

Dutra Extravating connected us to our town's sewer line about 13 years ago. We recently had an issue and Mike Dutra came right over to check things out. He was efficient, courteous, knowledgeable and relieved our concerns, even suggesting a plumber to reduce the costs of the repair. I highly recommend Mike Dutra who can be trusted to do the right thing for his customers.

When your home’s sewage line fails, its a big deal! We had our basement flooded from our laundry room wasteline. Our plumber said our main sewer line under the cement slab was broken after snaking it and hitting a blockage. How were we going to get this fixed!? After doing some research online and getting local recommendations, I came across Dutra Sewer. I am so relieved to have found them! Chris and Kyle were responsive and professional. They reassured me they would swiftly handle the situation. They checked the line with a video camera, pinpointed the break and fixed the pipe within a couple of hours of work. We were back in a functioning house in no time! Prompt, professional and personable family business. I highly recommend them.

I had a Sewer Line which I found out was completely obliterated Remedied By Kyle & Chris from Dutra. It took them 2 hours to locate line because it was coming out at a 45 degree angle from property. They worked all day from 8am till almost 5pm to make sure We were back up and running. Kyle was very responsive to all my calls and text messages and let me know what had to be done before they arrived at property. Chris & Kyle were very understanding of my unfortunate situation and we were able to work out short term financing. There is a Retention wall about 5ft High that was in the way of this project. Dutra might not be the lowest Quote you receive but they are very knowledgeable and performed the work as expected. I cannot thank them enough for completing the Job swiftly and Having my family return to normal life in our home. I would Highly Recommend Dutra you ever have a Serious Sewer line problem. These guys will get job done !!!
