We are very happy with the work done by CKG Contractors. Our house is 90 years old and had two layers of siding on it with many windows and the result with Hardie Board siding was beautiful. The work done was meticulous with small details attended to and all work done to contract specifications or better. We highly recommend CKG.

I had CKG install roofing ventilation, replace an attic fan and replace a bit of siding on the front of the house. They did a spectacular job.

First, they honored an estimate that was a few months old. We had originally planned on doing the work, but my water heater went. So, I had to have that fixed. A few months later, I reached out to CKG and they scheduled the work at the originally estimated price.

Second, CKG initially installed siding that wasn't quite the same shape as my original siding (the original siding is no longer manufactured). The different shape caused the siding to look a little off. They did not argue with me, or say it was the best they could. They came up with a solution and addressed the problem. The house looks great now.

Third, CKG replaced an attic fan. After a few days, the attic fan started vibrating. I called them. They showed up that week and addressed the problem.

When no issues pop up every contractor can seem like a good contractor. I believe the difference between a good contract and a great contractor is how they address issues that unexpectedly pop up. CKG was quick to address the issues that popped up. They are a great contractor.

The team from CKG was awesome! They were respectful and careful of my exstensive garden, and left property clean. But the roof! I am still getting compliments from neighbors. The flashing around the chimney is perfection. The materials are top notch. I can't thank them enough for coming out to Sussex County! So thank you again!

We've been using CKG for all our home repairs for years. We are very happy with their work and would highly recommend them. Their pricing is fair, they are prompt, neat, honest, responsive and most importantly, they don't try to up-sell you unnecessary repairs.

I had a leak in my roof and called CKG. Not only did they do the most thorough inspection of the area when quoting, but the price given was the most agressive.

They send a full crew out first thing the next morning to repair the roof before an incoming rainstorm. I was blown away by their responsiveness in getting this issue addressed as from start to finish was about 24 hours.

Chris the owner is a very nice guy and I personally like him very much. He failed to follow up on issues properly which I would have given him a 5 star rating instead of 4 if he followed through.

I got my rain gutter screens put on the entire house and his materials appear great (see photo). There is this corner that I never had rain water running off but right after the work was performed there was a string of water (see photo). Again a problem I did not have before I had the rain gutter screens put on. All this water was eroding away my soil (see photo) around my drainage system. Called Chris and he came out to take a look at it. The simple solution that would fix it was to bend the little mental and silicone it which he said he will send one of his guy to take care of. Well WEEKS and few MONTHS have gone by with no work performed. So, I pulled my ladder out and went up there myself bent the little metal and silicone it myself yesterday. I think it will fix the problem but next rain storm will tell.

Overall I think CKG is a very reputable and perform good work. I initially hired them for their positive rating to be disappointed.

My husband is finishing off an upstairs storage closet (sheet rock, flooring, etc...) and discovered a leak coming from our roof. I called CKG Contractors on Friday and Chris came out to assess the situation on Monday. Not only did he diagnose the problem, he had it fixed on Wednesday. My husband and I are very happy with Chris at CKG and his team. We got a quick response and quality service. It doesn't get any better than that!

I only had a small job to repair several pieces of my house siding, but CKG didn't have a problem with a small job. They came over, gave me an estimate of cost and when they should be able to do it.

The work was done beautifully and I couldn't have asked for more. They really put in the effort to get the siding fixed right.

I highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

Chris and his CKG team did an outstanding job replacing six skylights on my home. Unfortunately the crew had to put up with a sudden downpour about half way through the installation. They were prepared with a large tarp and able to work through the bad weather under very difficult circumstances and were able to complete the work in one day.

The old skylights were cheap and deteriorating. The new Velux skylights are excellent - a great improvement. The cost was very reasonable and I couldn't be happier with the result. They also did a great job matching the color and shape of the old shingles.

This was the second project CKG handled for me. Earlier in the year they removed the moss and lichen from my roof. They did a fantastic job, so I had absolutely no hesitation contacting again for the skylight work.

I absolutely recommend CKG Contractors for your next project.

CKG replaced our entire roof recently. We are a church and daycare facility which presented some challenges for CKG. They handled all the challenges very professionally and not one was an issue. They cleaned up daily, finished on time, kept us in the loop on expectations, have qualified & hard workers and provided a great product for our roof.

CKG has been excellent. We had a roof and new skylight installed. There were some issues with the subcontractor on the skylight but it was rectified in the end and the job looked great. We also had a nail pop in the roof, then a second which is unheard of. However at each call the owner Chris was there the next AM first thing. His guys fixed the issue immediately. He sent his crew over a month later after arranging our times and the guys repaired the damage from the leak. He was always responsive and I would use them again. Despite a couple setbacks, his ability to rectify the situation and promptness is what makes me trust them to do the job again. Mark his foreman was also excellent to deal with and very helpful.

They promptly responded to my request for an estimate, their estimate was approximately 15% -20% lower than the other two contractors who responded. They didn’t try to “pad” the bill by charging sales tax (which is not required by law) like one of the other contractors. Once the weather became cooperative, they had a full crew on-site, removed the old roofing, installed new sheathing, and a new roof in three days (2800sf)! They thoroughly cleaned up and were respectful of our property.
I couldn’t more highly recommend them!

I have had noting but a good experience with CKG. Granted they are not always the best at getting back to you quickly but what contractor is! My first connection was with Mark who came out to price a new door. They did a great job with the install. I next had them do a new roof. I got 3 quotes and theirs was the most reasonable and included the most.
I have since had them install another door and I think they are reliable and fairly priced.

CKG came on time to troubleshoot a leak. The owner Chris was up on the 3 story roof in a manner of minutes. We're property management providers and require professional vendors to service our clients needs on a timely basis. We will certainly continue to work with CKG Contractors. Thanks again for all!
