Diaz did an excellent job removing 4 trees from our backyard. They were punctual, both when arriving to give the estimate and when arriving to complete the work, they gave us a competitive price, completed the job safely in an AMAZINGLY short time, and cleaned the yard when they were finished. On top of all this, Mr. Diaz and his crew were professional and friendly! I am very impressed! I highly recommend this company.

On Thursday, August 29, Diaz tree service performed work at my neighbors house.

They were going to trim a tree That part of it hung over my front yard on my right side.

My neighbor informed them that three months ago we just had our front yard sodded And a new sprinkler system was put in place.
We also had the front yard landscaped.

After they left, we noticed that there were several small branches from the tree on our property, three of the four bushes that were just planted were trampled on, and they ruined a third of the grass by walking all over it.

My neighbor called them to let them know what had happened And I believe the gentleman‘s name was Lou that came out with an another worker to blow leaves off the grass.
They did not ring the doorbell to ask us what the issue was. My husband spoke to him. I confess I did yell at him, but I was very upset about the way. The yard looked.

My husband used to work for a tree service and understood that there was no need for them to walk all over the grass the way they did. He explained to Lou that the simple solution was to have someone climb the very small tree, And rope what needed to be cut and then cut it without having to impact our grass. Lou just looked at him.

My biggest concern is that if we wait till next season and the grass does not come back, we will have to spend more money to fix some thing that we did not mess up in the first place.

We have left four messages for Jamil Diaz, the owner of Diaz tree service to call us back to see if he could help resolve this issue. He has not returned any phone calls. My husband spoke to a young lady at their office yesterday and she stated that Lou told them that somebody yelled at him. So now we know that Jamil did get the message.

I will not be calling Jamil any longer to resolve the issue. My next course of action is filing a small claims. I will get an estimate for the damage and I will win in court. He had ample opportunity to respond and chose to ignore the situation created by his employees.

Diaz Tree Service is one of the best companies I've had the pleasure to do business with. Mr. Diaz came to my house to give me an estimate for the pruning of a huge oak tree. He was the most knowledgeable person I ever spoke to about trees. He gave me a very competitive quote and scheduled an appointment to get the job done. I called the office to inquire about when they will be at my house and the office staff was very polite and responsive to my concerns. The men arrived at my house on time and the forman Luis was like a team captain with his 7 other workers. They have the most highly technical and modern tree cutting equipment. Diaz Tree Service is a life saver, literally! During the storm of July 3, 2025 , or some call it a mini tornado, a 70 foot pine tree landed on my home. Diaz Tree Service was called and they showed up the next day, July 4, 2025. Ken Diaz came with a team of 5 Incredible workers, they worked nonstop to get this tree off my home, through the holiday no less. The work was incredible to watch! What precision and accuracy it took to remove this tree without further damage to my home was truly amazing! Not only did they remove the tree, they cleaned up the yard of all the debris and pineneedles that were all over the roof, the porch and the driveway. When they were done, it looked like the tree had never been there. I can’t say enough, how amazing, knowledgeable and courteous this company and their people were. They know their stuff! Timely and excellent service. I needed some urgent tree trimming around the property. Called and was handled by a knowledgeable operator who knew the rules of my town. Was handed over to Luis, who inspected the property, was courteous and fully explained how things will go through and left me with a very comprehensive and reasonable invoice and estimate. The crew showed up on time and did exactly what was in the estimate. They were very efficient, polite and generally happy. They return your call, confirm by email and show up on time. This is the second year I have used them to trim a tree and have been completely satisfied.

Alan has been keeping an eye on my property’s tree health for over 15 years now. He has never recommended unnecessary work and has a keen eye for potential issues. About two weeks ago, I noticed a declining tree in my front yard and called for a consultation. Sure enough the tree needed to be removed and Alan walked the property to check for any other issues. In our backyard, he noted what looked to me like a perfectly healthy tree as being in decline, pointed out a dangerous branch that needed to come down and showed me the signs of the disease taking hold. He estimated it would need to come down entirely in another 4-5 years. We decided to have it removed along with the other tree in decline. Work was scheduled for the following week.

Then we had that severe thunderstorm a week ago and guess which tree lost its entire canopy? The tree that looked healthy but was actually in decline. It had all those leaves to catch the wind but was weak inside and broke right off. Alan is truly an expert and I appreciate it when pros offer services only when necessary. I used Beyond the Leaf To do some trimming of large branches on my trees to let in more light. They did a great job and were very neat without damaging any of the plants in my beds nor my lawn, which was important to me. They were also very obliging regarding taking off more branches if needed. I would definitely recommend them.

Great experience from initial review of the project with Dave to scheduling with Karen and through the onsite workday with German and team. We were concerned about the safety of our home as well as ensuring the grass and driveway weren't damaged - the team delivered on all fronts and watching the crane safely remove large pieces of tree was impressive. Team was super efficient and clean up after the job was nothing sort of amazing. We consulted Beyond the Leaf after a very large maple tree came down unexpectedly in June. We wanted their arborist, Dave Wagner, to look at other trees on our property to assess their health. Dave conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the trees we had questions about and developed a plan for pruning/trimming them.
