I saw "Beyond The Leaf" removing a large tree at a neighbor's house, so I walked over to get their number. The owner, Austin, offered to have a look at my yard on the spot. I was wary because as any homeowner of more than a decade knows, these "here today..hurry away" gutter cleaners and driveway pavers usually end with regrets. I am happy to say that this was NOT the case with BTL. Austin took the time to really look at my trees, and most notable was that he did not push to cut the big maple tree that so many other tree companies zeroed in on without my asking (I'm from the Catskills and worked with loggers - unscrupulous companies often pressure homeowners to cut the "money trees" that are straight, healthy hardwoods, as they can sell them for a lot on the side). BTL did a great job, hauled/chipped/cleaned the cut sites, and charged a very reasonable price. What originally caught my eye was that they were using professional, new equipment. What surprised me pleasantly was how friendly and jovial the workers were, especially since they had already been sweating it out for hours at the other site. Bottom Line: BTL is now a contact in my permanent Rolodex!

I was thrilled to connect with Beyond The Leaf and Alan, as we have been looking to find an arborist to work with in maintaining and keeping our trees healthy. We lost a sizeable limb in a recent storm, and we had been somewhat delinquent in routine tree maintenance, so I called BTL. Alan provided a thorough assessment of our trees, got me the proposal the same day, and we were able to schedule the work within a couple of weeks. The BTL crew was professional, courteous and did wonderful work. We especially liked their spider crawler, that allows them access that bucket trucks can't get to easily. I would highly recommend BTL for any tree service you need.

Team did a great job, and brought in reinforcements midday to make sure all work was completed timely. Work was expertly done in a clean manner. Couldn’t find a single twig when the team left.

I don't often write reviews but wanted to send a huge 5 stars to Alan and his team at Beyond the Leaf. I had a small tree to take down and another one in the back that isn't doing so great. Alan came by and gave me great advice, and a price that I felt was really fair. However, I was most impressed when there was a small, unintentional mishap that happened while the guys were maneuvering the big truck around my property. Alan took care of it in a timely manner and did so with respect and integrity. They just finished today and I am super impressed. Thank you to Beyond the Leaf. Well done.

Expertise and knowledge of the arborist, Alan Milstein, convenienced me for the project. I recommend the BTL without any reservations, exceptions or conditions.

Mr. Milstein is a true professional. He answers all questions and is extremely knowledgeable about issues like the risk of a tree falling, etc. He has good knowledge of plant care and takes the time to fully evaluate your property and advise. He answers texts and emails promptly and courteously. His crew removed a very large and dangerous white oak from my property with zero disruption to our yard, and finished the job quickly and on time. I highly recommend him and Beyond the Leaf to take care of your property.

I had a Mulberry tree in a tight spot, behind my shed and clustered between pine trees that needed to be taken down. The crew was very professional and prompt. They worked nonstop until the tree was down and all debris cleaned up. You would never know the tree or crew was there.

They trimmed three big oak in my yard. Very easy to work with. David came and did an estimate and explained everything clearly. Didn’t try to upsell me on anything. Gave me an estimate right on the spot that was cheaper than competitors. Workers came and were fast, friendly, and clean.

The crew did a great job. They showed up right on time, were very friendly, walked the property with me, asked some questions and got to work. They finished the job in the roughly expected time frame and did a great job cleaning up, spending a lot of time cleaning up which was greatly appreciated. Very happy with the job they did overall including pruning a close to the house Japanese Maple.

Beyond The Leaf was a great experience from start to finish. Starting with Mr. Milstein's professional assessment as the licensed arborist. To working with Karen to schedule the job of removing three tall Norway Maples that had unfortunately fallen ill. To Mr. Abrego and his team's expert handling of the removal itself. Mr. Abrego in particular was extremely competent and very reassuring with all the issues that arose that day!
