Rob and his team are the best electricians I’ve ever worked with. Rob is super knowledgeable and passionate about his work. We’ve hired them to do several jobs in our 120+ year old house, including a complete install for a kitchen renovation (recessed lights with dimmers, pendants, dedicated appliance lines, under cabinets and more). They’ve updated old outlets, installed new exterior lights (with motion sensors), and ran several new lights and outlets to various rooms. I’ll be using them for all my electrical projects in the future. I can’t recommend them enough. They are dependable and provide quality work every single time.

If you read nothing else, know that I highly recommend Bright Ideas for any electrical work you might have. If you’d like more detail about my experience then, then read on!
It was a pleasure working with Rob and his team. For context, our home had an outdated and undersized electrical system and had also unfortunately been the victim of a good bit of poor DIY work in the past. The house needed a lot of help, and Rob stepped in and handled everything professionally from start to finish. Projects included main service panel upgrade and relocation to a better spot, installation of a mast to raise our previously too-low service line, upgrading several outlets to GFCI, and tidying/bringing up to code a lot of messy electrical work.
Rob and his team were friendly, accommodating, and flexible when scheduling work around our needs as a young and growing family. They were punctual, communicated clearly, and took the time to explain what they were doing and why. The pricing was fair and transparent, and the quality of the work gave us real confidence that things were done the right way (and that includes the hiccups that were encountered as he dug into the walls - something that will inevitably happen in an older house).
I will absolutely be working with Rob again, and I would happily recommend him to anyone looking to have electrical work done on their home.
