Great service, very quick and thorough - would highly recommend!

Rob and his team are the best electricians I’ve ever worked with. Rob is super knowledgeable and passionate about his work. We’ve hired them to do several jobs in our 120+ year old house, including a complete install for a kitchen renovation (recessed lights with dimmers, pendants, dedicated appliance lines, under cabinets and more). They’ve updated old outlets, installed new exterior lights (with motion sensors), and ran several new lights and outlets to various rooms. I’ll be using them for all my electrical projects in the future. I can’t recommend them enough. They are dependable and provide quality work every single time.

It was a pleasure working with Rob and his team. For context, our home had an outdated and undersized electrical system and had also unfortunately been the victim of a good bit of poor DIY work in the past. The house needed a lot of help, and Rob stepped in and handled everything professionally from start to finish. Projects included main service panel upgrade and relocation to a better spot, installation of a mast to raise our previously too-low service line, upgrading several outlets to GFCI, and tidying/bringing up to code a lot of messy electrical work.

Rob and his team were friendly, accommodating, and flexible when scheduling work around our needs as a young and growing family. They were punctual, communicated clearly, and took the time to explain what they were doing and why. The pricing was fair and transparent, and the quality of the work gave us real confidence that things were done the right way (and that includes the hiccups that were encountered as he dug into the walls - something that will inevitably happen in an older house).

I will absolutely be working with Rob again, and I would happily recommend him to anyone looking to have electrical work done on their home.

I reached. out to Rob to handle a project. He answered the phone, took the time to review the project and came the very next day to provide an estimate. He stayed in communication to keep me apprised of his ETA... this itself is impressive nowadays.

Amazing team and that is saying something because I am a plumber and was trained to hate electricians. I’m rethinking my whole outlook on life now…seriously though, these guys are just the best possible option for your electrical work.

One of the most un-phased and knowledgeable electricians I have ever dealt with. Had him redo-someone else's work and he was able to not only do the job, but made it seemless to me which is excellent. They are they people to hire!

I had an EV charger installed. The job was done quickly, they helped me set up the app and they left the garage cleaner than when they arrived.

Great overall. Very responsive. We had a brownout on an underground, under the driveway, line. No AC no water no nothing. Rob was extremely knowledgeable, handled all interfacing with the city and the power company, and executed this job on time, professionally, and with great regard to customer needs. Given the difficulty and the quality of work, their pricing was very competitive. Will definitely use their services again❗️

We used Bright Ideas a while ago for an electrical upgrade when we installed our hot tub. Excellent, quality work! More recently, I called Rob in a panic because the lights in my house were flickering. I am so grateful to him as he was willing to come by on hours notice and it turns out he didn't have to because the problem was coming from the pole on the outside. He is knowledgeable enough to advise me to call PSEG 1st and was wonderful when I called him 3 times that day...HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)

Robert and Matt couldn’t have more knowledgeable, courteous. They explained everything they did the three times they were here. As they did the job I had requested they showed me things that weren’t up to code. I elected to do them. The price was decent, I compared it to another job I had to have done and they were both the same. He seemed to be about 10% lower. I recommend him for a review and quote on what you would like him to do

The service was excellent, Rob is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Rob is a truly gifted electrician. We called him to hang a chandelier, and 6 hours later he had not only hung the chandelier, but installed dimmers & timers in multiple locations, tested and replaced circuit breakers, added several wall outlets and very thoroughly cleaned up after himself. Rob is talented and willing to make his customer happy. We have already had Rob out for additional work, and will definitely call him again in the future.

Rob came recommended to us by a co-worker to fix a problem with flickering lights in our house. Generally, I'm not a fan of calling and talking to contractors, but Rob's polite and personable manner put me at ease about the situation and we quickly set up an appointment to have him come check out our problem. When he arrived, Rob got right to work investigating the situation, but also initiated and engaged in light conversation, including with our 3-year old daughter, who was fascinated by "Rob the fixing guy" in our home. He was also willing to answer all of my noob questions regarding home electrics as well as suss out some other minor issues that I was concerned about around the house. When it was all said and done, Rob had solved our problem and we were happy to know who we would be calling if/when we have another electrical issue or project in the future.

Rob installed two security cameras, a video doorbell, replaced an outdoor light, and ran power to the outside of our house. In addition to this, he found some issues with our wiring that other electricians didn’t pick up on. His work was immaculate and he and his partner left everything spotless. I highly recommend him!

Rob was great throughout the whole process. He installed a dining room chandelier (77 lbs), three kitchen pendant lights, a new ceiling light, and a bathroom light fixture. All came out great, exactly as we wanted. Everything is aligned and level. I noticed he would double and triple check how high the lights were hung and made sure they were to our specifications. When one pendant light was slightly off, he took the time to adjust it.

Rob is very professional and kind. He will listen to your questions and perform the work exactly as you specify. He has great attention to detail and you can tell that he wants things done the right way. We would absolutely hire him again and would highly recommend him.

Very glad we reached out to Bright Ideas Electric Corp to come and deal with a wiring issue. While doing plumbing repairs, we found a electrical splice inside the wall behind the sink and other questionable wiring. The schedule was tight but Bright Ideas Electric Corp, got us in promptly to keep us on schedule. Rob was responsive to our concerns, very professional and we are thrilled with the results. Being in an old house, we will definitely reach out in the future as needs arise and will recommend Bright Ideas Electric Corp to friends.
