I have been a customer for several years and have always been happy with the service provided by The Pool Company. The pool technicians are very professional and always quick to respond to our service needs. The office staff is friendly and always does a great job addressing any concerns we have regarding the service of our pool. Highly recommend!!!

Been using the Pool Company as our weekly pool service as well as for some of the equipment replacements, additions, and fixes over the past 3 years since we bought a house with a pool. they are always responsive and explain the situation for me each time. I appreciate their hard work and professionalism that has allowed us to enjoy our pool.

I have used the pool co for over 10 years. Excellent staff. They are courteous and knowledgeable. They open and close my pool every year along with weekly maintenance. Now our pool gets more use than ever. Diagnosed my heater problems when previous co couldn't. They are absolutely the best.

These people are a disaster. The all inclusive package is a scam, and doesn’t include everything. They try their hardest to milk you as much as possible for every service or repair. The markup is obscene. The office staff hasn’t had any training in customer service, and they talk like they are doing you a favor. Arrogant beyond words. Absolutely zero communication with you from the office staff, and the technicians blame the office staff for any problems. The technicians also vary each time, and come in clueless. I would avoid.

We have had the Pool Company for several years and have been very pleased with the work keeping our pool in good running order. We hafce had a numberof technicians but Carlos has been the very best one. He is courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. His work is perfect as he really knows his stuff, and that is what makes the difference from the other technicians.

The Pool Company is a fantastic company with world-class service. They offer honest, knowledgeable, and direct service with a personal touch. The entire staff is informative, helpful, and actually care. They far surpass any competitors in the area or I'd imagine beyond. I could not be happier with their service technically or professionally.

Liliana was extremely helpful when
our pool pump stopped working. We were having a fiftieth anniversary celebration at our home with forty-five people bringing their bathing suits (including our daughter and her family visiting from Italy)!
Our pump was replaced before the party, and our pool was party- ready!

This is our first year as a valet customer and we couldn't be happier with the service, quick response and professionalism that the technicians and crew provide. We had an issue with our heater earlier in the season and they came same day, diagnosed, ordered the part and fixed it. Our pool was cloudy, we called the office and a tech was out within 2 hours to correct the water quality. All things that our previous valet service would never have done and something that would have taken days for them to come out for. The people in the office are attentive and willing to address any concerns or questions that arise. We are so happy that we decided to go with the Pool Company this season and will be customers for years to come. They really do value their clients. The bluetooth speaker as a customer appreciation gift was also a nice touch!

Saved my summer. Lilliana was great. She helped me get a new poolpump and schedule multiple cleanings to get my pool swim ready. My kids are enjoying every bit of the pool now. They been swimming everyday for the whole week. They couldnt'd be happier and I couldn't be more thankful for the terrific service from The Pool Company.

We here at the LeBow residence of Alpine have had our pool serviced by The Pool Company for several years and their service is superb. We are totally satisfied with their work especially the excellent service and attention that Carlos Prez has consistently provided ever since. He is such an asset to this company! He is so accommodating with all our questions, very friendly and cheerful and always approachable with our concerns. We are certainly happy customers! Keep up the great work!

I used them last year for pool care, and while their service was decent, their maintenance was subpar. However, I was interested in giving them another chance this year for valet service because the staff is friendly and the company has new ownership.
So I contacted them to inquire about valet service and maintenance for newly renovated pool this year. There staff, Courtney requested a nearly $200 site visit fee to assess the new pool for future service. This wasnt a request for parts or materials. I just wanted my new pool to be serviced by them. But they wanted $200 to JUST COME VISIT THE POOL PRIOR TO SERVICING IT. IT WAS NON REFUNDABLE. I'm not aware of any business that charges a fee to evaluate potential future clients."

This is our first year using The Pool Company and our experience has been excellent! Liliana and her staff have been great to deal with. Complete professionals and friendly. From our opening to our weekly water testing, we have been impressed. We look forward to long working relationship with The Pool Company.

We had installed the equipment for a salt water pool last summer. When we opened the pool it wasn’t working. Carlos and James came and quickly established the problem, cleaned out the cell and gave me a plan! Great service

Carlos from The Pool Company was helpful and informative. He took his time priming the pool when it was giving him difficulty, and even took a quick look at my Polaris pool cleaner to ensure it was running smoothly. If you're in the area, you can trust these guys to take care of you.

After yet another great experience with The Pool Company in River Vale, I realized that the review I left was on Yelp and not Google and also has me listed as being from a town I am nowhere near. Anyway, here's my original review:

Just have to give some credit to The Pool Company. They have consistently earned five stars for outstanding service! Especially during the pandemic. When we put the pool in we started with one is those big chains for opening and closing but had nothing but drama, excuses, extra charges and completely inaccurate information about different equipment of ours. As a matter of fact, we started using the pool company a few years ago when the big chain told us our heater wasn't working correctly and we needed some expensive part that would take two weeks to get and then they would have to come back and install it (and they charged us for the service call even though they were there opening our pool and would charge us for another service visit). I explained that our heater was brand new and that this shouldn't be the case. I was desperate to open my pool before Memorial Day weekend and, based on the information they gave me, I wouldn't be able to open it until mid June and for a lot of money to boot. Called the pool company and they said they would do their best to get there by memorial day weekend which was only a few days away. Since I wasn't a regular customer yet, I wasn't very optimistic they would be able to do it. Not only did they squeeze us in, but they confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the heater and we just needed a mild adjustment.

Since then, they have been opening and closing our pool and, unlike the big chain company who told us it was normal for our $5,000.00 pool cover (that we bought from that same chain) to sag after they "close" the pool and to have parts of the pool near the waterfall exposed, from the first time The Pool Company closed it, it has been 100% snug.

Today I had questions on the care of the pool, so I stopped over there and got the items I needed at a nominal cost and got to interact once again with the professional and friendly staff. I don't normally write reviews, let alone long ones, but I am truly impressed with this company. I've only mentioned a few of the positive things about them--there are many more. Highly recommend this company!!

I’m local to the area and have bought many pool products from The Pool Company. The owner is AMAZING. She give my boys lollipops when they come in and treat us with respect. Although recently I had an issue with a product rebate. I was outside the rebate window by a very short amount of time. I called and asked to return and immediately rebuy the robot vacuum so I could get the $100 rebate. I was told “yeah, no” about 20 times. It was a bit frustrating. I asked to speak to someone else bc this sales associate spoke like the professor from South Park. I didn’t trust my message was getting conveyed correctly. Once transferred to someone else I was told one word, no. With no explanation at all. I’m not expecting the world to adapt for my needs. But an explanation would be nice.

I will take my business elsewhere to avoid any future conflicts.

The Pool Company is the best pool service company in the area by a wide margin. Their customer service is stellar, and their technical expertise is second to none. If you care about your pool hire them.

10 stars across the board. We are new pool owners and had an uphill battle with the pool that came with our new home. The Pool Company, from the owner (Krista) to the other employees (especially Tara!) are responsive and informative, go above and beyond in terms of customer service and results. We are so happy with our new, clean and CLEAR pool!!
