Constraction reviews in Rumson, New Jersey

I trusted Peninsula Construction with my build after a fire that completely destroyed my house. It was very complicated, as we had to deal with a variance, insurance, and a new septic and well that delayed the project. Nick and his team not only delivered what he promised: a beautiful new home, but they displayed more patience than I could have asked for. They worked with us on sourcing materials, went above and beyond managing the build, and their workers were professional and efficient. I recommend them to anyone who asks me about renovations.

Great job by peninsula construction and Nick Frangipane and his team in 2 total bathroom makeovers around the holidays. Just over 6 weeks in total to gut and renovate both bathrooms. His tile person did a beautiful job working with some complicated tile designs. Everyone one his team did a great job keeping things neat and clean. And our tile designer at Downtown tile, Cathy Skronski, was amazing in designing and providing high quality tiles.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Nick and his team to replace the hearth on our 100+ year old fireplace, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. While the hearth itself wasn’t original to the home, the fireplace and surrounding brick are, and the team took great care to preserve and protect both the original brickwork and the hardwood floors throughout the entire process.

From the outset, communication was excellent. Nick was quick to respond to all questions, kept me informed at every step, and made sure I felt confident in the plan. He confirmed all necessary measurements before moving forward and even took the extra step of picking up the stone directly from the stone yard, which saved me time and ensured everything was ready for a smooth installation.

The workmanship is great and their respect for the historic character of the home really stood out. I couldn’t be happier with the finished result!

I highly recommend Peninsula and Nick for their professionalism, communication, and high-quality craftsmanship- I plan on using them again for other renovation projects in my home!

We did a full exterior renovation with new doors, windows, siding, roof and a large front porch with Peninsula Construction. Also new HVAC and a new master bathroom. Couldn’t be happier we chose to work with Nick. He’s honest and a great communicator. Took a huge amount of stress off our plates. Would recommend Peninsula for any project!

My experience with Peninsula Construction (Nick and his group) was the best! Nick is professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The work included complete renovation of Master Bathroom and partial renovation of another. I highly recommend his work

Kurt just finished a renovation on our home. A pleasure to work with from start to finish.

Kurt Connor Construction provides superior work at great prices. They are on time and on budget! They start early and work without stop until completion. They are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and are very clean and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Kurt is the best! Have been working with his company for over 10 years with remodeling of my house and other home ownership needs. I can send him a text regarding a question or advice regarding home maintenance and he is usually at my house that day. Can’t recommend him enough!

Kurt renovated our first floor- all new kitchen, new hardwood floors, moved walls etc and we could not have been happier. I am so thankful to him and his team for taking on our project and exceeding our expectations. We look forward to many more renos with him!!

As a realtor, I had the opportunity to sell a property built by Kurt Connor Construction—and the quality spoke for itself. The craftsmanship was impeccable, communication throughout the process was seamless, and working with Kurt was a true pleasure.

In today’s market, where value and presentation matter more than ever, his work not only stands out but elevates the homes and neighborhoods he builds in. Highly recommend!

Where do I start with Kurt! As far as contractors go you will never find a better one. Kurt came in and finished a bunch of jobs for me when I had to fire my previous 2 contractors. He then continued on to do my entire house. He is meticulous, never cuts corners, and his jobs always come out above and beyond perfect. He communicates extremely well, especially for a contractor. He shows up when he says he is going to show up, and if he can’t for some reason he will tell you why and get to you asap. He is honest and fair and a rarity in the contracting business. Highly highly recommend!!!
