I gave the owner of this company a cash deposit of $1500 and he never came back to do the work and have been blocked at any attempt to speak with him.

They set a date to evaluate my previously flooded basement, then the day before sent a text saying they would have to come 2 days after that date. Then on the morning of the new date, they left a phone message saying they can't come, and that they would call me the following week. Never got that phone call, and didn't respond to my calls. Not reliable.

Absolute nightmare

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Four Star Construction Company. After a house fire, we entrusted them with a full renovation of our home, expecting professionalism and transparency during a very vulnerable time. Unfortunately, they delivered neither.

Much of the work that was promised and covered in the insurance estimate was either done using cheap, substandard materials or not completed at all. The contractor consistently misled us about where our insurance funds were going and pressured us into signing a proceeds contract that lacked any clear scope of work or timeline for completion.

Even worse, he attempted to collect the full insurance payout before finishing all the required work—work that we are still waiting on. This entire experience has been frustrating and emotionally draining. I would not recommend Four Star Construction to anyone seeking honest, quality workmanship or clear communication. Proceed with extreme caution.
