Went in to go grab a part a pick up some gloves and putty. Not a single person out of the 5 that walked passed us acknowledged or even said a word to me. Wouldn't recommend, cant even buy anything

Great shop all the staff is super helpful, I would recommend going here over home depot or any big box stores. Prices are products are very reasonable.

I have been going to South Amboy Plumbing for years and I have always been pleased with their service. Everyone is always willing to help me , very polite and respectful. They normally have what I'm looking for and if not they do whatever they can to get it for me. I can honestly say that everyone who works there is a pleasure to deal with and I can't recall ever being treated poorly in any way. Its a great place and I hope its around forever. Keep up the great work.

So I called this place today and no one picked up. I figured it was a Saturday and they were busy so I decided to just drive to the store and see if I could see if I could get help with a part. It said on google they were open till 1 and it was closed. I understand this is 4th of July weekend but if you are closed mark it on google and your answering system so people like myself do not spend an hour driving to find out your closed. I would not be back.

I had a great experience at South Amboy Plumbing! Steve was incredibly helpful from the moment I walked in. He quickly understood what I needed and provided recommendations that saved me both time and money. The service was fast, the prices were reasonable, and Steve really went the extra mile to make sure I left with the right products. Highly recommend this store, and if you go, definitely ask for Steve—he’s knowledgeable, friendly, and makes the whole process easy!

I only shop at south Amboy. My favorite supply house for all your plumbing needs. All material is of the best quality and the prices are great as well. The customer service is the best you can get anywhere. They have two stores. One is in Newark and one is in south Amboy. Very knowledgeable staff for boilers, tankless water heater/boiler combos, they distributors of so smith which is the best water heater. They sell noritz tankless which in my opinion are awesome looking and work well.

Moen and Gerber. These pics are only a small portion of the stuff I personally all installed myself just this last year. I love south Amboy and highly recommend them to everyone and anyone looking for plumbing parts.

Screw those corporate big places like Home Depot Lowe’s. There faucets and diverter may be cheap but junk. If you want quality it may cost a little more but will last and look better for many many more years.

Truck driver review, the people are friendly enough. No parking here except the curb, even the small trucks and cars are double parked in front of the store. Surrounded by residential so be careful of parked cars on the curbs. There was only one car on the curb when I got here so theoretically you can park overnight. The dock is back up from the street, not hard just watch your corners.

Edit: I was told cmv are not allowed to park here over night. There is a lot on 35 just north of Catherine st 5 min away

Fantastic store for all your plumbing needs! They have an amazing selection of fixtures at great prices, with tons of beautiful options to choose from--including a really nice variety of tubs and specialty toilets (take a peak at the picture with a toilet and remote control). The showroom is spotless, super well organized, and packed with samples, which made choosing everything so much easier.

We came in looking for bathroom fixtures and accessories, and Tina was absolutely incredible to work with. She's extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, and genuinely listens to what you want before offering spot-on recommendations. She made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.

The store is in a great location with plenty of parking. If you're anywhere nearby and planning a bathroom upgrade or full remodel, do yourself a favor and stop in--ask for Tina. You won't be disappointed!

We would highly recommend Burlew Mechanical. The whole team was amazing, they worked fast and had our sewer line fixed the same day considering we have a very challenging yard with not a lot of space to maneuver large equipment. They were very clean and neat back filling our yard. And patient with our boys who were under foot wanting to watch the machines and play in the dirt! They offer many services and we will be sure to use them again.

We called Burlew Mechanical emergently after discovering a major leak. They were here within 20 minutes and had the pipe replaced immediately (even though it's a Friday evening). Dominic was polite, efficient, and even played games with my toddler while he worked. We will definitely recommend them to anyone that needs plumbing work, and will use them again in the future.
