Harmony Design Group redesigned our back yard in 2023, and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a contractor. At every stage from planning to demolition to installation, they are experienced professionals. They control all parts of the job and complete the work quickly and efficiently. The best part was the design. We never would have conceived of the plan Marc created for us, and it has given us a tremendous amount of joy from the day it was installed. We enjoy the yard whether we are outside or inside the house, because of the thoughtful way he designed the highlights of the landscape to be visible from and complement our indoor spaces. They are very flexible in both the planning and installation. They have an experienced work crew and state of the art equipment that saves you money on labor and reduces the disruption to your property. Marc’s choices of plants has worked out very well for us and becomes more beautiful every year. They also offer maintenance programs - we hire them once a year to come out and do any necessary maintenance on hardscapes and the planting beds - and they stand behind their work. I recommend this company without reservation.

We recently worked with Marc and Harmony to transform our backyard from a muddy swatch of dirt and grass to a hidden oasis that included blue stone patios, retaining walls and an outdoor kitchen. From the very beginning, Marc was attentive and thoughtful in his approach and delivered several potential options for the space. We turned to Marc at Harmony Design Group to help us create our dream backyard—and he absolutely delivered!

From day one, Marc impressed us with his deep knowledge of Westfield’s zoning rules, including ground coverage and building coverage regulations. In a town where property sizes aren’t exactly sprawling, that expertise matters. He knows exactly how to maximize every square inch, and he did just that for us.

He designed a stunning pool, a beautiful outdoor kitchen, and landscaping that flows effortlessly from space to space. The entire yard feels cohesive, intentional, and incredibly serene—truly an oasis and escape right in our own backyard.

In fact, the finished project turned out so beautifully that it was featured in Woman's Day magazine and has since been used as the backdrop for multiple commercial photo shoots—a true testament to his vision and execution.

Beyond the initial design and build, Harmony continues to maintain both our backyard and front yard with the same level of care and excellence through their Fine Gardening department. Marc is creative, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and a true professional. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

We originally hired Tory and Bella Landscaping for winter snow removal, which went fine last year, but this year wasn’t great. Communication was unreliable, so we were planning to hire a different company next winter.

The main problem was that they did a spring cleanup without being asked. They very heavily pruned multiple plants, including our Japanese maple, leaving damage to the plants and mulch beds. While we appreciate that they canceled the invoice, we now have to pay to fix everything ourselves, as we don’t want them to come back.

We will not be using this company again.

We always hire Tori and his team for seasonal clean up before spring and after fall. He’s easy to get in touch with, will send reminders around the time we need him, and always fits us in. He always gives us a great price and will do extra work the day of too adding it to the clean up no problem; like getting rid of dead bushes or cleaning up a tree. And their work is always very thorough, when I go out to see how the clean up went I’m always surprised to find areas clean that I didn’t even think of, like behind my shed or around my ac unit. We’re always happy with his work, and I’m sure you will be too.

I used them for a large project that I needed done quickly. They quoted a time frame of two weeks and got it done in one and a half and it looks better then I could have imagined.
