Reviews of local pros in Springfield, New Jersey

It is not often that I go out of my way to write a review for any company. I had to share a great experience with ABS construction. We did a kitchen reno and from day 1 to the end of project they made it a very enjoyable experience. On time, no hidden extra costs and most importantly the workmanship was outstanding. I highly recommend ABS for any of your construction needs

ABS Total Construction did a fantastic job on a recent project we needed done.
They came in at a very fair price and completed the work in a timely manner.
I would definitely recommend them and look forward to our next project with them.

We recently worked with ABS Total Construction to get our new home move-in ready and we could not be happier. From painting to refinishing our floors to electrical work and other jobs in between, ABS turned our vision into a reality. The team was very communicative which helped ensure our tight deadline was met. Bryan, Alex and team treated our home with care and attention to detail, prioritizing high-quality work and cleanliness. Cannot recommend them enough for your next home project! We will be using them again.

They're not just Total Construction - but more like transformation specialists.

ABS totally transformed my ~1000 sq.ft unfinished basement into an absolute masterpiece. As someone who had never undertaken a major home improvement / construction project... ABS helped and guided me with the initial consult, design / envisioning, suggesting materials and fittings .. as well helped prioritize what should and should not done to keep the project within my budget.

As for the actual project - they're very professional, highly diligent, flexible ano skilled.
Some of the key standouts that I do want to mention about ABS.:
1. Their crew is very respectful to your home and surroundings. They clean up and do not disrupt the on going's at home
2. The owners Brian and Scott - are genuine and true good people
3. There were a couple of setbacks because of basement structure / layout- ABS although, were very accommodating and did not let that impact my overall estimates.

Special shout out to Alex: for being there everyday, rain or sunshine, working and speeding things up for certain milestone dates.

I'd highly recommend ABS on all accounts.

We finished our basement with ABS construction. They are able to start work based on our schedule. They were flexible and we're willing to work according to our needs and were able to make changes as requested. They also got all the township permits approved. They are a talented group of contractors.

ABS did a fantastic job on our project. Scott and Brian were professional, friendly and incredibly detail-oriented. They kept everything on schedule and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend their team for any home remodel!

I had the pleasure of working with ABS Total Construction on a full kitchen remodel, and the experience was truly outstanding. Their team was professional, skilled, and always attentive to detail. Every step of the process — from demolition to cabinetry, countertops, and final finishes — was handled with care and precision.

Communication was smooth and consistent throughout the project, and they always made sure everything aligned with my vision. The end result exceeded expectations — my kitchen looks incredible and the quality speaks for itself.

I’d definitely recommend ABS Total Construction to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality workmanship and a team that genuinely cares about what they do.

The best!

Hes the best around! Knows whats wrong and can fix it on the spot!

I needed a dishwasher replaced and Norman assisted with a recommendation, made all of the arrangements, and he installed the new dishwasher professionally. Very happy with the level of service!

Norman is awesome! He’s thorough and very sweet. He always gets the job done! And he’s affordable. Five stars!

We had a very poor with Norm. He is unresponsive to phone calls and voice mails. And takes hours to respond to his pager. We were clear that we had two babies and need our dishwasher repaired fast. He said he's going to order parts that same day. We tried calling to confirm for three days, and he said he's final recommendation is to replace the entire unit. Well, thanks Norm, for wasting our time.

I was very pleased with Norman's service of my refrigerator. He hit all of the marks : He returned my phone call in a short period of time, he accurately assessed the problem, and he charged me a reasonable amount. All of those things would have been enough to earn a top rating from me, but on top of that he is personable and helpful (even assisting me with the unloading of my food-filled fridge.) I would definitely use Norman again if I were to have an appliance problem and recommend him without reservation.
