Electrical reviews in Succasunna, New Jersey

This is one of the best in home service electricians i have ever used. i had a remodel of a highly complex electrical system that in some places was 100 years old and difficult to trace. Two other companies tried to solve and were not able to, but Surge solved the problem in a day and provided several options to make the use and positions of internal and external lights very intuitive. This is a 5 star vendor!! Ask for Sergio, he is brilliant.

I am so glad we found this company. Great work at a reasonable price. The owner, Sergio, is the best! Then today we had Esteban come out to do some work. Fast efficient and so pleasant to work with. Can't recommend them more highly.

I’ve hired Surge Electrical three times in the last two years. They are very professional and trustworthy. They do excellent work and I will certainly reach out again if I need more work done on my house.

Incredible service! We needed a dedicated 20 amp circuit installed for a sauna, and a dedicated plug in the electrical panel for a portable generator. The highlights were as follows: When I called, the owner called me back within 10 minutes (I was already impressed given that a timely return phone call is unusual these days). He came over the next day to discuss the job and made several great recommendations and provided a cost for the work before he left (no waiting days on end for a proposal/price). We scheduled the job, and the day before the work was to begin, I received a text confirming the date and time (really? at this point I would have paid him even if he didn't do the work - another impressive nod to customer service). The day of the job, the team showed up at the scheduled time, fully prepared, kind, and professional. The work was exceptional and they were respectful of our home and really sweet to our dogs. It is so refreshing to work with a contractor who "gets it". This company is top shelf and I highly recommend them.

Ian and Esteban were fantastic. So polite, efficient and happily answered any questions I had. They were on time, and were in and out. Will certainly use them again for all my electrical needs.

9/3/24 - still reliable! Shawn came this time to change out my electrical box and had no problems! Very nice group of guys.

Sergio and his team are awesome. They do great work for a reasonable price. Esteban, Anthony, and Sebastian were all very polite and very respectful of my home. My wife and I are so happy with all the added electrical features that Surge Electric added.

I recently needed work done to remove a hardwired dishwasher and install an outlet due to a drain pipe that had burst. Sergio had Anthony & Joe there for me the next AM and they were kind, clean & efficient.
They answered all of my questions & were patient and professional. I’m very happy I called them!

We were getting our kitchen remodelled and the GC subbed out the electrical to Surge. I was extremely happy with the work that Anthony, Danny, Daniel and Esteban did to replace all our light fixtures with recessed lights, replace our entire fuse box, and upgrade the switches and outlets. They are fast, highly professional, and did great work. The owner Sergio was on-site every day they were doing electrical work to make sure they knew the plan. I'll be sure to call them back if I need their services in the future.

I used Surge Electrical Contractors to install new light/fan switches on the wall and run power to change the old switch from an outlet switch to a light/fan switch. Anothony and Kevin were very friendly and super professional. Not to mention quick and efficient. My real estate agent recommended Sergio and I am definitely passing along the reco.

Sergio is a good guy with a good team. Definitely call him if you need something done.

Sergio recently installed several outlets for wall mounted TVs and outlets for two bidets for my elderly parents. His professionalism, workmanship and promptness was exceptional. Most importantly, his positivity and compassion with my parents exceeded my expectations. He is most sensitive, responsive and responsible. I would highly recommend Sergio and his colleagues to do any electrical work! A+++. I am so happy we found a reliable, courteous and skilled electrician!!!!!😊

Sergio and his team came highly recommended to my husband and I. They did not disappoint. We’re so grateful for their hard work, professionalism, and timely installation of our lights just in time for our baby’s arrival.

Matt and Esteban came to install a EV charger at my house. They showed up right on time, were very polite and knowledgeable. They protected the area they were working in and left the are in my house and garage cleaner then it was when they came. The installation went great, no hitches. They stayed while the charger was synced to the service to ensure everything was working properly. I cannot recommend them any higher. If you have electrical work that needs to be done call these guys. They are great!

Anthony from Surge came by today to help set-up electrical for two wall-mounted TVs. He came early, was super neat- having to work in our master where we just installed new PB furniture and rug. He even vacuumed up after his work. Would recommend and I am picky.

We have worked with Sergio and his team over several occasions and have had nothing but great experiences (kitchen reno, bathroom reno, high hat installation, generator hookup and electrical service update)! He is extremely professional, detailed, and responsible and I would recommend him over and over again. Quality guy and team and quality service. 10/10 would recommend!

💯 Highly recommended, very professional, and best of all, they leave everything super clean. Brayan and Jared are excellent workers.”

Rewired a large portion of our almost 100 year old home. They took care of the house over the course of the week with respect and care. I was amazed at how they were able to run some of these wires while minimizing damage. When the work was done they kept open communications about any issues we might see and promptly came back to remedy any of the minor issues we had. Can’t say enough good about both the work and professionalism.

I reached out to Surge after being in a bind and needing prompt assistance. I had reached out to 4 other businesses with no availability. I spoke to Sergio at 6pm and he was so efficient & kind that he sent someone to my house at 8am to have my issue taken care of! I am so grateful for the prompt response, efficiency & thoroughness! Thank You Sergio & team you won a new customer :)

We’re extremely happy with the recessed lighting the Surge Team (Jarred, Danny, Danny E, Bryan, and the Don) installed in our home. They completed three bedrooms, hallways, the kitchen, and living room in a single day, and the workmanship looks fantastic. Professional, efficient, and high-quality work—we’ll absolutely use Surge again for any electrical needs.

Surge and his team did an excellent job installing electrical for a newly finished basement, hot tub, outdoor deck and patio lighting. They also installed a concrete slab for the hot tub, a new patio and landscaping. Surge also managed all of the zoning and permitting for the job. We are very pleased with the work that Surge and his team did in both planning and installation. Surge was very responsive to any questions and always kept us updated on the progress of the job. Surge performed the work on budget and planned (based on written proposals). Although this was a complex and multi-stage project, Surge completed the work on-time and in a short duration. It was a true pleasure working with Surge and his team and we would definitely recommend him and I would contract with him for future projects.

I’ve been using Surge electrical contractors for several years. They are very professional and do great work. They have upgraded my electric service and added additional outlets. They are responsive to requests and look for the best solutions.
If there are any issues they come back quickly to fix them. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them.
