Reviews of local pros in Summit, New Jersey

I cannot say enough good things about Joe and his whole team. I honestly didn’t believe a contractor like Joe existed because we’ve always ended up having issues with either timing or work product in the past. But Uno Group was an absolute pleasure to work with in every way. They did our nursery and playroom and refinished our basement. We had a strict timeline because we were having our first baby and Joe made sure to complete the necessary work when we needed it. He was always responsive to my requests and flexible when we added additional work. As to the day-to-day, every single person who walked through our door was absolutely lovely. The guys were all polite, friendly, helpful and professional. It was a pleasure to have them here and I think our golden retriever was genuinely depressed when they finished their work. They not only did excellent work, but they left the areas they were working on cleaner than when they arrived, which was really important to us. We will definitely be reaching back out to Joe and his team in the future!

Joe from Uno Group renovated our master bathroom and we are thrilled with the outcome. He was easy to communicate and work with, and his attention to detail was top notch. His crew was meticulous, professional, and clean- couldn’t be happier. Any issues or concerns were quickly assessed and addressed. Would highly recommend and we look forward to renovating our basement next!

Before I settled on Uno Group I reached out to about 10 other contractors in the Morris / Union / Essex area. While some did not respond at all, others did and came up with decent, if not good, quotes. What set apart Uno Group for me was the expert attention from Joe, the owner, from moment one. He brings an experienced eye for detail and is ready with candid suggestions, as he meet customers where they are and offers solutions that truly suit the space. We worked closely to put together a reasonable work plan for my kitchen and bathrooms, as he introduced me to his key suppliers (e.g., plumbing, countertops and shower doors) who all brought his same level of professionalism to their parts of the job. All in all, I recommend him and his crew very highly and look forward to working with him again in the near future.

We had Uno Group create a laundry room and full bath in our basement and had them come back about a year later to renovate our primary bathroom. They do great work and Joe is so creative when it comes to customizing a space. He was able to accommodate most of our requests and offered some really thoughtful design ideas. He’s also great at problem solving when working around the constraints of an old house. We are so happy with the spaces they worked on. Highly recommend!

Uno Group did a terrific job on our bathroom renovation! Their excellent tile work, plumbing, lighting, carpentry and painting all resulted in a new, beautiful bathroom. Their highly-skilled workers provided us with results that met our exact requirements. And all of this was done in a friendly, pleasant manner with continual communication throughout the process. We would definitely recommend them for any remodeling projects!

We hired UNO Group to remodel our entire house, both inside and outside, including roofing, siding, kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, basement renovation, painting, electrical work, and masonry for the patio, walkways, and driveway.

I’m writing this review one year after the project was completed, and I’m pleased to say that my wife and I are fully satisfied. We haven’t encountered any issues since the work was done. We truly appreciate the quality of work that Joe and his crew delivered. His team is highly skilled and paid great attention to detail. Throughout the project, Joe communicated exceptionally well, addressing all our questions and concerns.

We were initially nervous about how everything would turn out, but UNO Group did a fantastic job and transformed our home, meeting all our expectations. We’re so glad we chose them for such a major remodel.
Thank you, Joe and the entire team!

We used the Uno Group for our basement renovation and are thrilled with the results. We had initially selected a different contractor but when that person bailed right before the start, we contacted Joe who was able to get our project started almost immediately. Throughout the project, we were impressed by Joe's responsiveness to our many questions and requests. We really appreciated his attention to detail as well as the fact that the crew he sent was consistent throughout the project. The guys were hardworking, polite, and left the space clean. Joe and the crew were patient when we had issues with material delivery and came back as needed until the project was completely finished. The project timeline wasn't the fastest but definitely worth the wait to get it exactly how we wanted it. We would not hesitate to hire the Uno Group again.

Best contractors I’ve ever worked with. They were fast, responsive and did fantastic work. My kitchen remodel was stress free, I plan to use them again for more projects in my home. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!

Joe and his team at Uno Group Home Improvements completed two bathroom remodels for us. Throughout the process, Joe and his team were informative, on time, professional and focused on their high quality work. We are really pleased with the outcome and look forward working with them again.

I had the pleasure of working with Joe and his team at Uno Group for a recent home renovation, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to quality were outstanding. Joe personally ensured that everything went smoothly, addressing any concerns promptly and providing expert advice along the way. The craftsmanship was top-notch, and the project was completed on time and within budget. I highly recommend Uno Group to anyone looking for reliable, skilled, and trustworthy professionals for their renovation needs.

We met with several contractors regarding our kitchen and full bathroom renovation. Joe was the most impressive to us from the very start, as he is incredibly knowledgeable and a very good communicator. We couldn’t be happier that we chose to hire him and his team for our relatively large project. Joe is a true craftsman that takes pride in the work that his team provides to his clients. His team works extremely hard, are always polite and respectful, and clean-up every night before they leave. Even when it came to making some changes to our original plans or adding additional work, Joe was so accommodating and we could tell his number one priority was that we were happy with the work they provided. Some contractors are only interested in getting the job done but Joe and his team take full pride in their finished work product. UNO’s office staff person, Silvina is also always a delight and very responsive. If we could give them 6 stars, we would! We look forward to hiring Uno Group in the future for any of our home renovations. Thanks so much to Joe and his hard working team!

I couldn't be happier with The Uno Group and the outstanding work they did on my kitchen and bath remodel! From the very start, their team was professional, attentive, and dedicated to transforming my vision into reality. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the project, making my home look better than I ever imagined.

What really sets The Uno Group apart is their commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. At the end of each day, they made sure to tidy up, leaving no mess behind. This level of care and respect for my home was truly appreciated and made the renovation process so much smoother.

If you're looking for home remodelers who deliver excellent results while keeping your space neat and tidy, I highly recommend The Uno Group. Their professionalism, skill, and dedication to customer satisfaction are second to none!

By far our best experience to date. Joe and his team at Uno Group were professional and completed all projects on time and with great attention to detail. The work was of the highest quality. This applies to interior painting, cabinet builds, electrical, and bathroom remodeling (especially tile). Clear communication throughout, met or exceeded all expectations.

We have used Uno Group multiple times (mudroom, powder room, kitchen, pantry) and continue to be THRILLED with their craftsmanship, attention to detail and overall quality of work. Joe’s team is great to work with. They are extremely meticulous, clean and efficient. When it comes to projects like these, Uno Group makes it a priority for their customers to be satisfied which is why we love working with them!!!! The results speak for themselves 😍

Joe and his team are incredible! They did an amazing job on our main/kids bath renovation--and completed 1 week sooner that scheduled! Everyone was very professional and the work is impeccable. I am so jealous of my kids now, I cannot wait to renovate my master bath with Uno Group! Thank you!

If I was able to give 6 stars, I would. Joe and his entire team were true professionals all throughout our recent master bathroom renovation. Even though Uno Group came highly recommended, they easily exceeded expectations. Besides the beautiful finished project, we were most impressed with Joe’s tremendous design ideas and also their strong communication skills. In terms of Joe’s design eye, he gave us the idea to utilize a pocket door and also moving of sink to opposite wall. These suggestions were home runs and we were extremely happy. In terms of communication, Joe and his team did a great job in explaining each day what they were doing and who would be coming. This level of customer service is not something we had experienced with prior contractors. We could not be any happier with our new bathroom and can’t wait to work with Uno Group on our next home project.

We worked with Joe and the Uno team to do a whole house interior & exterior renovation in 2023. The experience we had working with Uno has been fantastic and would recommend them to anyone looking for home renovations! Uno is the total package! Great quality on the work done, really good communication, on-budget, amazing support team and very timely in getting things done.

From the beginning, it was very easy to communicate with Joe and get quick responses on putting a formal proposal together. Upon approval the Uno team helped us with obtaining the necessary permits for construction and even helped connect us with architects and designers. Throughout the renovation, Joe and Silvina did a great job on keeping us posted on progress as well as letting us know when items we supplied will be needed by. As issues came up, Joe did a great job on quickly bringing them to our attention so we can get them addressed quickly. This helped us keep the project on-time and maintain scope.

From the plumbing to electrical, tile work and everything in between the quality of the work done by Uno was top-notch and built to last. They were even great at design touches. We sent them inspiration pictures of rooms and design touches and they were able to execute them even better than what was in the picture. Even after the project was complete, as small repairs were needed, Uno was very responsive to help them get it done. We are very pleased with how the project turned out.

We are thrilled with how the project turned out and look forward to working with Uno on future projects! Thank you for the great work and giving us a home we are proud of!

Joe and the entire UNO group are professionals and take tremendous pride in their work. Joe came with so many ideas for our bathroom renovation that we had not even considered. We are very please with the finished results. Thanks!

UNO Group just finished a bathroom remodel for me and the end result is beautiful. Everyone from the tile guy to the painter to the plumber was super professional, polite, neat, and always made time to answer my questions. The project was very well run with virtually no down time and great communication. I highly recommend them!

Working with UNO was a great experience! We hired Joe because when we first met him, he seemed as excited about our project as we were. He gave us ideas even before we hired him and we knew he’d be great to work with. All of the guys on his team were polite, respectful and are skilled at what they do. We are so happy with the final product!

What can we say, the results speak for themselves. :) We had a wonderful experience working with Joe and his entire team at Uno Group Home Improvements. Grateful that we chose the right guys for the job. They completed two bathroom renovations for us - a hallway bath and a master bath (sharing an adjacent wall together). They were clean, coordinated, meticulous and attentive. Great work all around!
