Kitchen Remodeler reviews in Wayne, New Jersey

Great company! Great work! Highly recommend very professional.

Constructive did an excellent job installing my new dining room floor. 😀
I would highly recommend them.

This guy left me hanging because he got a call for a bigger job and was pretty disrespectful about it. They should tell you upfront that 20k is too small of a job for them.

Albert does an excellent remodeling job. He's always on time and on budget!

This is the second time we have used Albert and his crew for a home project. Once again, everything ran smoothly and the finished product looks great! Highly recommend this team!

We hired Albert Leggieri(the owner of Constructive Building & Remodeling) in order to repair water damage to the wall and ceiling in one of the rooms in my house. His crew came and tore down the damaged wall and ceiling and then they put some fans in the room in order to dry it out on 01/25/2022. They told us it will take 3 days to dry out. 3 days later, we reached out to him in order to get an update about the repairs but he did not answer the phone or text message. We sent him an email as well. Still no response. The following week on 01/31/2022 we finally got a hold of him and he said his crew would come over to pick up the fans from our house and that he would submit the invoice to our property insurance company directly. His crew picked up the fans on that day, but he never submitted the invoice to our insurance. Our insurance adjuster even spoke with him, and he promised he would submit the invoice to our insurance company, but he never did. We have been trying to resolve this issue since 01/31/2022, but he still has not submitted the invoice. We sent him text messages multiple times, as well as emails and phone calls. One time he answered the phone and he said he would submit the invoice that day, but he did not. Today is 03/03/2022, and I sent him another text message to telling him that he must submit the invoice to our insurance so that he can get paid. I have no idea why he doesn't submit the invoice but keeps telling us he will do so. Our insurance adjuster also doesn't understand why he hasn't submitted. Usually contractors submit the invoice very quickly so that they can get paid sooner. Based on this, I can only imagine how he handle his business. I found out that other people also had similar issues with him. We are glad that we did not hire him to finish the repair job. As a consumer, if it is impossible to communicate with the business, that tells you everything you need to know. You should not work with anybody who doesn't respond to you.

One more thing, you can ONLY find Albert Leggieri's Cell phone number in his business website, facebook and google, etc. That is the reason it is impossible to reach out to him. He does have email, but never replies. Please be aware of this company for your own safety.

I cannot say enough about Constructive Building and Remodeling. They are professional, affordable, creative and reliable. Albert and his team are amazing at transforming spaces like you could not imagine. However, their secret weapon is their designer, Patricia, who offers a warm and personalized touch to their complementary design services. Without question, best building and remodeling company around. 5 stars!!!

Had contacted to do work on my home. Did not show up the first time for the quote walkthrough with no notice. The second time Albert showed up and said he would provide a quote within a few days for one thing (water damage) and another for a bathroom renovation. After not hearing anything for a week, I asked again and finally received a quote for the water damage and no quote for the bathroom. I told him that I would like to go ahead with the work and he said he would check his schedule and get back with me. I emailed again and heard nothing back. Maybe it was because it was only water damage repair and a bathroom renovation that he felt like it wasn't worth his time, but it was like pulling teeth to try to get something started. Hopefully others have better luck!

Albert and Bret from Constuctive Building & Remolding renovated our place in Pompton Plains. Their work is excellent and professional. We were comfortable leaving the space to them and would come back each day to such progress. They always cleaned up each day and arrived on time the next morning. Highly recommend them for your next project.

Highly recommend this amazing company! Constructive Construction remodeled my kitchen and bathroom as well as installed all flooring and the results are beautiful! The prices are fair and the job was completed in a short amount of time. Albert, Patricia and the crew are kind, honest and trustworthy people. No doubt, I will be using this company in the future! 👍👍👍👍👍

Albert and his team were so amazing! They were professional, timely, honest, and did excellent work. I am so happy with how our bathroom came out! It far exceeded my expectations! Patricia was so helpful every step of the way! So happy we chose Constructive!

They were there with me every step of the way when a neighbors accident unfortunately flooded my condo. They are professional and use their time wisely. They explain everything and are patient. Their prices are more than fair. They do a great job and are very personable. It has never been just fixing a home. They have also been kind to me and made me laugh throughout this process which has helped me feel less anxious. They truly care about building solid relationships for possible future endeavors. I already have plans for them to come back and help me with... you know, the stuff you ignore just because most contractors suck...? Yea well, that’s not the case for me any more thanks to Constructive Building & Remodeling. Definitely go with Constructive Building & Remodeling!

Just want to say thank you and let you know that the crews that were here did a great job. Your 2 workers that did all the spackling, sanding, painting, & electrical work were not only great, they were professional and respectful, they left the workplace clean. Thanks one again.

I had a Cat 3 water leak- mold. No fun. Constructive Building & Remodeling arrived that day- removed all the mold and the affected sheet rock. After treating the mold, they put the sheet rock up, spackled, & painted. They would text/call me when they were on their way & their timing & punctuality were second to none. I could not have planned it any better. Considering I work from home, they were able to do their work without disturbing me. Fantastic company to work with.

My previous contractor left without completing the job, Albert and his team came in and completed the job. They got a 5 month old project 80% done; completed within a week, correcting the other contractors errors. Came when they said they would showing up on time, staying within a budget, friendly group and overall fantastic work. I would highly recommend.

We had an emergency flooding situation and they were there immediately to mediate the damage. Once the work was approved (Albert helped expedite the review with the insurance company), the quality of the work was top notch! Highly recommend! They came in on time and in budget with clear communication! Looks better than before! 100% satisfied

I've used Albert's company Constructive Building & Remodeling twice. The first time was to paint my daughters' townhouse. They did a wonderful job, so when my husband and I wanted to remodel our living room and dining room, we called him. His bid was very competitive and since we knew his work, we decided to use his company again. We were not disappointed. His crew, headed by Brett, transformed my rooms from the 70s to a modern chic. They tore down all the paneling and plaster walls, replacing them with sheetrock. It was a messy job, but they carted away all the debris. They also moved and stored our furniture for us right in our driveway. All the ceilings came down too and he convinced me to put recessed lighting in the living room and we couldn't be happier. They converted my fireplace into the centerpiece of the room with ledger stone and a handmade mantle. Up came the worn rugs, replaced with beautiful hardwood floors. They installed new windows as well as doors and suggested widening the opening from the living room to the dining room. That made such a big difference and I am so happy that I took their advice. Albert's assistant Patricia helped me choose paint colors for the rooms as well as for the bedroom which also got a new ceiling. She also helped me choose wooden blinds which I love. The crew did an excellent job. They cleaned up each day and were careful. I had bought new ceiling fixtures which were installed as well as a new faucet in my bathroom. Brett, the foreman, does meticulous work and despite some difficulties that cropped up, he found creative fixes. Albert returned my calls in a timely fashion and answered all my questions. There is not one aspect with which I was disappointed. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again in the future. I felt that his prices were fair and the work was exemplary. Everyone was a pleasure to work with.

We contacted Constructive Building & Remodeling when we discovered we had a mold issue in our office. Albert came out and conducted some tests. He immediately had his crew come out and take care of the situation which included opening up walls and treating the affected areas. His crew worked diligently through the whole process, they were here when they said they would be, there were no surprises or hidden costs; and they left our offices clear of all mold and looking better than ever. I would definitely recommend them for all mold or water damage as well as your construction needs.

Albert and his team of professionals were terrific to deal with and collaborate on our project. We designed and built out a cafe bar with cabinetry and plumbing/electrical needs that were very specific. The team at CB&R were right there from the start and helped clarify our vision where it needed it and were very open about different paths to take. Most of all and this has everything to do with my prior construction experiences, Albert and his team were always reachable and communicative. I have found that not always the case in prior jobs but this was completely opposite with CB&R. We were able to call all of them as needed and they always responded quickly. Our job went very well and the municipalities administrative side was super simple because of Albert and team. Special thanks to Patricia who was oustanding handling much of the initial calls, and Brett for being just about the best at everything. There isn't anything he can't do :). These folks are certainly worth having come in and talk about your needs and certainly I can't say enough good things about their work results but most of all their work ethic. In a world where all you ask is to "do what you told me you were going to do", CB&R does it best, fast and with a smile! Awesome people!

Albert and his team are top notch. I’ve never seen anyone work with insurance companies and get the job done. Well as well as getting the client reimbursed by their insure for that work. Perfection.

We had water damage from a leaky roof. Called Albert and he was here within a day with Patricia to give estimate. A few days later started job with Rich doing the repairs. He was fast and very neat. Looks as though nothing ever happened. Will definitely call them again for any future work.
