As a resident of a 55+ community for ten years I decided to go with Lawn Connections last year for their standard lawn care program to substitute the lawn applications provide by our community’s landscape contractor. In mid July, I noticed large swaths of brown areas in my beck yard. I requested my Lawn Connections contact via text and email to do a site visit to determine the issue and resolve. With no response I contacted the President of our landscape contractor to visit. Their visit showed my backyard is infested with fungus. I will them thatch, aerate, and overseed. As of yesterday, I canceled my service with Lawn Connections due to their failure to respond and poor customer service.

DO NOT Use this Co. Used Lawn Connection for 2 years here in Medford , NJ. Each year my lawn got progressively worse. Had a lawn fungus that they charged me over $1,700 dollars for multiple applications which did absolutely nothing. (See attached Invoice from 2024) Also had nutsedge grass infestation on the lawn for which they charged me and were not able to control it.Basically they treat every lawn the same with the same applications. Each lawn is different and should be treated as such. I had to spend Thousands of dollars to reseed both years.

Yes these photos are from September 2024. I choose not to use them this year due to horrible results over the past 2 years of using them. When I spoke with the owner Bill. I agreed and did pay for all treatments to the lawn except for the disease control and nuts edge treatments because they were totally ineffective. He would not wave the fees for the ineffective treatments and sent to a collection agency, whom reported it to credit reporting agencies which negatively effected my credit score. I lost a good portion of my lawn to disease. As for them saying this is dormant grass, not true these photos show dead grass and bare spots due to disease. Dead grass had to be removed. Soil, seed and peat moss had to added to a good portion of the lawn. They are the supposed experts but again, when there is an issue with the lawn they simply are not using the proper treatment or do not have the know how.

Don't know of any other business that sells you a product or service that doesn't work, create more damage and expects you to pay for it.

Furthermore if you look at some of their negative reviews, they always seem to place the blame elsewhere. They have never done anything improperly. At least take accountability and do a better job next time.

Stay away.

The crew did an outstanding job. They cut down one large tree in my backyard and one smaller tree in the front that was by wires. I was also impressed with how thoroughly they cleaned up the yard afterwards. I would highly recommend them. Great price. Friendly staff. Professional crew.

JMA Tree Service is fabulous to work with. Anthony was very professional, knowledgeable and respectful. Anthony, Guillermo, and the rest of the crew arrived on time and finished within two hours. They removed all of the dead branches from my very large Maple tree threatening to fall onto my car after 3 near misses of branches falling. Within a week of meeting and before this upcoming storm with high winds, JMA removed all of the dead branches and a very large branch with mold. They also removed dead branches on my Dogwood tree as well as ground and removed all debris from an old rotting stump. They did a great job of cleaning the entire property all for a very fair price! I will definitely be using them again. Thank you, JMA for a job well done.

Recently had 3 trees removed and 2 others trimmed. Anthony responded to inquiry promptly and scheduled a consultation within a few days. He also itemized all work being done for my review. Pricing was fair and reasonable.
The crew that completed the work was amazing. The supervisor ensured i was happy with the sevice prior to the crew leaving. Great end product and they cleaned up everything after completing the job. I will use JMA again in the future.

They did a great job cutting the trees away from my house and shaping them. Professional service at a great price. I highly recommend JMA.

Anthony came out give me an estimate for large bush removal. He was super professional and pricing was excellent compared to other bids I received.. So happy I chose them! These guys are the real deal and cleaned up perfectly before they left. Thanks again for a great job done !

Definitely recommend using this company. The quote was by far the best out of the 5 we received and normally I get nervous when going with the lowest quote but they did not disappoint one bit. Communication and clean up was top notch! Everything was done in one day and it looked like the trees and the tree company were never there!!! Will definitely use them again and recommend to anyone who needs trees removed

Great crew came to remove large dead branches in our back yard. Their equipment was able to move through the fence door, and the entire area was cleaned...including the street where everything was chipped.

JMA guys are very great! The quote they gave us for the Tree that needed to be removed was fair. We were able to schedule our tree removal quickly, and within days of our initial meeting, the trucks and men were at our office early in the morning to begin the work. They were so professional putting covers on the ground, carefully removing large limbs from around wires, and being mindful of our office structures and cars around. After the trees were removed, they cleaned our property so well, that you couldn't even tell trees were there in the first place! I'm delighted with the work and service and highly recommend JMA Tree Service.

Had two trees down 2 am this morning. Called Anthony, he came over to give me a reasonable price (no nonsense) did what I have asked for and cleaned up nicely. His team is very efficient and professional, knows what they are doing and making sure other things on the property are not damaged while cleaning up. Great people to hire for tree removal.

Recently had JMA come out to remove two very large trees in my back yard. Anthony and his team scheduled the job and arrived on time and ready to go. All in all, multiple trucks, tons of equipment and 8+ team members and they did a GREAT job. They respected my property making sure to minimally disrupt my lawn, fence and even the kids’ swing set. After grinding the stumps, the did a great job leveling the area the trees sat and even cleaned up around my two neighbors properties some debris fell onto. I will absolutely be referring this company to neighbors. Very impressed with the professionalism.

I happened upon JMA when calling around for estimates. Augy came out to my property and was on time and professional. I just moved to a house where the owners were elderly and the yard was over run with trees and bushes. Augy was thorough and knowledgeable about what I needed to do to meet my goals for the property. The price was less than I expected and the men that came to complete the job were the hardest workers I have seen! They removed at least 10 trees in various stages of overgrowth. They cleaned everything beautifully and left my yard in amazing condition. I am so impressed by this company! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs tree care or removal!

Our medium-sized willow tree fell in our backyard overnight and JMA responded to my quote request almost immediately. They came to my house to evaluate the situation within a couple hours of texting me, and then had the availability to take care of later that day since they were already in the area. They were quick and efficient and had everything cleaned up within an hour. So impressed with how they worked and how they left the area in our yard. I would gladly recommend them to anyone!

We were very pleased with the tree removal JMA did at our home. FIRST and most important, they arrived and on time. We had one very large tree about 6 stories high, very wide and established. There were a few other small trees also. JMA knew exactly how do their job efficiently. They cleaned the area and it looked better than expected. I live in Woodstream and my neighbors raved about them. So I'm doing the same.

I hired JMA twice and was happy both times. I appreciated that they offered a fair price for the tree removal and trimming. The workers always left my property in better shape than when they arrived and made sure I was happy with the service before they left. If you hire them, I hope you are as happy as I have been.

Had JMA give us a quote on the removal of 7 tall pine trees that were infected with bark Beatles. The price was great and they did awesome work! Cleaned up the area better than my wildest dreams. I would highly recommend them.
