We had a great experience working with Nate and Alyssa on our master bathroom renovation. The entire process from design to execution was super smooth, and we were so delighted to find a contractor that could start so quickly. The whole project took two weeks (just as predicted), and the team made sure to be as respectful as possible in terms of keeping mess to a minimum and making sure our space was livable during construction. Had our front stoop completely rebuilt and exterior re-stuccoed and painted by the Comstock’s. They took us through every part of the process, were very thoughtful with the design decisions, communicated well and had fair prices. We have really enjoyed the new curb appeal, thanks guys!

In 2021, at the height of the pandemic, we were running out of room in our duplex. (Work and school from home were taking their toll). Lucky for us, we were able to purchase a one bedroom apartment that was adjacent to our living space. The Comstocks were our saviors. We had no idea if the plan to knock down an entire wall would work, but they were so truly excited to take on the project and they exceeded our every expectation. We were able to add a larger eat in kitchen (complete with 41 inch tall cabinets for my tall family), a new primary suite and 2 offices. Nate and Alyssa gave us our dream forever Hoboken home!!!

Nate and Alyssa helped us with renovations on our apartment, and we were really happy with the work. Nate was very responsive, helped us think through options, and was transparent on pricing. The quality of the work was great as well. There were some small things that required re-work, but Nate took care of it and it didn’t impact our budget. Overall very easy to work with, and would use them again. They remodeled our master bathroom, refinished our floors, installed some lights, and painted a room.

A great experience! I came to Nate and Alyssa with a few issues in my space that I wanted to address and a vague idea of a design. They were able to work with me to design a beautiful laundry room that was far better than my original ideas would have led to! If I had went with a different company, I wouldn’t have achieved the same end results. The work crew was also very professional and kind and made the work disruption less of a hassle. The work started promptly and was completed within the original timeframe given. Would definitely recommend!

I really think what sets them apart is that you get EXCELLENT WORK with a lot of personalized service. They sit down with you to discuss what you want, options, ideas, brainstorm, follow up with recommendations and designs. We had multiple thorough meetings before we even started the work. They provided detailed budget and updated throughout the process as needed. No issue, question or idea was too small or too big. We trusted them to be in our home for the demolition and initial installs (floor, cabinetry, etc.) while we were away. They worked diligently to stay ON schedule with our tight turnaround and stopped at nothing to make it work. I also liked the subcontractors they brought in for countertops, electric, etc. We are extremely pleased with the process and the final result, and I am not an easy person to please (high expectations, detail oriented, etc.) They made sure to leave our home clean (both after initial demo and at the end of the project) and took care in our home and building. The team was always kind, respectful, and helpful. Since project completion, the team has been responsive to any follow up needs or small issues that can arise after any renovation. We had 2 full bathrooms gutted/renoed in our condo. Nate, Alyssa and their team are amazing to work with! They take every single concern away that usually comes from working with a traditional old school GC.

They are transparent with all pricing every step of the way so you know where you stand against budget based on decisions you make throughout the process. They text and call you back quickly. They show up at the days/times they say they are going to. And they stick to their estimated timelines hoping to under promise and over deliver not the reverse.

We are so happy with the work they did, and the fact that we will hire them again and can't recommend them enough to others goes well beyond the quality and outcome of the work.
