Marty did a phenomenal job on our beach house!

Can't say enough great things about Elements Design Studio! We had a fairly large design and renovation project and Joanne and Michelle added value at every step. We couldn't be happier with how our project came out!

I hired element design hoping to get a better understanding of how I should decorate my house and what colors I should use all I was left with was $1000 bill with nothing to show for it. I’ve dealt with other companies who provided way more information with just a free consultation these ladies travel to my house for two hours went over things that they could see happening but didn’t provide anything solid and then I asked him what do you think about laying out a bathroom how we should do it and they gave me a sketch that I could’ve done with my paint file and charged me $375 for it so now I’m left with the bill with no progress whatsoever. I would suggest if anyone wanted to use them be sure that they will hit you over the head for something that you can find online or through Pinterest for free or if you want to understand how design works you can get a free consultation with many other companies.

Marty and Joanne are creative and professional, with a great eye and excellent taste. They had great ideas to transform and update our living space, and we are extremely happy with the results.

We have used Michelle and Joanne for our entire home renovation, from simply color choices to even redoing an entire floor plan. ( we weren’t happy with our architects design). They are always very engaged, on time, professional and so easy to work with. In addition our results have been beautiful because they always listen to what we want ( and we listened too!). I own Your Chief Experience Officer and focus on virtual events. When I needed help creating a fun, on brand background for my virtual events, a friend recommended Elements Interior Design Services. I couldn’t be happier with the results! We did consults via Zoom to position shelving and when it came time to style, they came to my home and helped me get the styling just right. Most importantly, they stayed within the budget I needed! The whole process was easy and I’m just so pleased with my new Zoom background!

I worked with Elements Interior to re-design my first floor within a reasonable budget, both to enjoy now and to prepare to move within a couple years. Joanne and Marty spent a lot of time understanding my needs, my budget and my taste, and provided me with a plan with a lot of options. They sourced items and services and allowed me to be as hands on or hands off as I wanted. I am thrilled with the end result which got me outside my comfort zone a bit (that's a good thing) and looks classic, fresh, and updated. They came in way under budget and were perfectionists, relentlessly following up on everything until I was satisfied. They were so professional and lovely to work with throughout. Joanne and Marty from elements Design Studio bring a wealth of knowledge and amazing taste to every project. Joanne's understanding of interior architecture and 'space' and Marty's impeccable flair for design have helped me on an ongoing basis to make our new house a home. From creating a move in plan for us so that rugs and furniture were properly placed by the movers, to making sure my window treatments came on day 1 and recommending wonderful vendors for wallpaper, rugs, windows, they have been a real help to us and I highly recommend them!

Marty and Joanne were a pleasure to work with! We used them to do a "room refresh" of our living room. I was intimidated to get started because I am not good at design. Marty and Joanne made everything so easy. We made things tough on them by insisting on keeping some key pieces from our old living room and they respected our wishes while also nudging us in exactly the right direction. At every decision point they gave options, heard us out, pushed back as necessary. Their visits to our house were fun every time - and my husband feels the same way! Our living room ended up just as it should be - and where I never could have gotten it to without Marty and Joanne.

When you live in an apartment—a place you don’t own—it’s easy to accept the space as it is. For over a year, I tolerated a cold, boring apartment filled with rental furniture. Joanne and Marty transformed it into a warm and cozy chic urban bachelor pad! I now have high-quality furniture that will last and everything else I needed, from bookshelves, accessories and rugs to wonderful lighting. When it’s time for me to move, everything will come with me. Joanne and Marty are very organized and asked the right questions to help me figure out what I wanted. The whole Elements team was a pleasure to work with and a smart investment.

Joanne, Marty and the whole Elements team made our home the perfect place to share with family and friends. That includes two Thanksgiving celebrations each year for both sides of our large family. I’m a former chef and my wife owns a restaurant. We now have our dream kitchen with custom cabinets, high-quality appliances and an exposed brick wall. We love all the upgrades in our bedroom, bathroom and dining, family and living rooms. From fresh paint and artwork to furniture and lighting. They are super personable and friendly and always accommodated our busy schedules by making decisions easy and deliveries convenient. What started out as a business relationship has turned into a friendship.

We love to entertain but the new, oddly shaped deck around our pool was not inviting. Marty started by assessing the interior of our home and designed our exterior to complement that. She set up zones, repurposed a large table we wanted to keep, and added comfortable lounge chairs and other furniture. There’s now an attractive bar by our grill. Marty is very accommodating. She understood our objectives and narrowed down our options to keep us from being overwhelmed. We enjoyed all the compliments about our pool area after hosting a party for more than 100 people.

My family moved from a small apartment in Manhattan to a house in the suburbs with all white walls and no furniture. The task of turning this house into our home was daunting. Then, I broke my leg! Luckily, I had just hired Elements to design and furnish it. Marty and Joanne are so honest and kind and creative. Everything turned out great—from our cozy, warm family room and timeless, classic dining room to our stunning primary bedroom. They helped us choose patterns and colors we would have never imagined. And all the workers they recommended did an excellent job. We look forward to working with them again, this time on our outdoor space!

I knew it was time to update our home of more than 20 years but didn’t know where to start. Marty helped us create a home we love. As a global business professional, I have traveled around the world and stayed at exclusive hotels and venues. I wanted to capture that look and feel. Our family room, which was light and plain, is now moody and cozy with dark, dramatic walls and custom artwork. Our living room was especially dated with cherry wood trim throughout. Marty transformed it by painting the trim a luxurious neutral color. The stunning centerpiece of our kitchen is a wood lighting fixture, designed in Europe. Marty is so easy to work with, full of great ideas and a wizard with colors and fabrics. Everyone who visits our home is amazed by the design and I’m so proud of it.

For the first eight years we lived in our home, we entertained once. Thanks to Marty, we now have family and friends over all the time. She turned our basic back deck into a peaceful oasis with resort-quality furniture and fire pit. Our family room, which once resembled a bachelor pad, is so beautiful with cream-colored furniture and fun pops of color. My husband and four kids love being at home and spending time with each other. Marty is so personable and caring and a great collaborator. She gently pushed me to consider what was possible, instead of playing it safe.

Interior design is not my skill set, but I know what I like. I trusted Joanne and Marty with updating our two historic homes—our primary residence and our beach house. My husband and I wanted to honor the integrity of the original homes while making them more comfortable and functional. From the high-quality furniture and unique lighting to the dramatic wallpaper, it’s all classic. Our new kitchen in our primary home is everything we could have wanted. At our beach house, they helped with a refresh that brings it up to date without a complete redo. We also loved the big, luxurious rattan lounge chairs that the former beach homeowners had in their living room and Marty tracked down replicas. They were always so gracious and accommodating. We’re thrilled with the results and highly recommend them.

Elements took our home from something that was boring and didn't reflect us to something truly special. We love vibrant colors and wanted to incorporate more personality into our home but didn't know where to start. Our mish mash of furniture from several previous homes wasn't working for us. We wanted to get it right so we hired Marty and Joanne for an interior redesign of our entire first floor. It was a fun, collaborative project. Like painting our white kitchen cabinets a sophisticated aubergine and adding bold, botanical wallpaper. We love our stylish, kid-friendly furniture. Marty was always thinking of ways to delight us, like when she suggested painting our front door yellow. Our neighbors are always telling us how great it looks!

When we moved from a three-bedroom Manhattan apartment to a seven-bedroom home in Westfield, we wanted this larger house to feel like our home.
