Tree reviews in Westwood, New Jersey

Just finished my second large job with Jeff Smith All Seasons Tree Service. These guys are amazing. Sean is super knowledgeable about all varieties of trees and plants and will patiently explain his recommendations and answer all questions. The office staff (I worked with Marianne most recently) is courteous, friendly, and efficient in scheduling and keeping the customer apprised of important details. The on-site crew is amazing to behold. They show up on time and work together as though the whole operation was choreographed -- one guy with the ropes/climbing harness, another on the chipper, the chain saw guy in the bucket while the crane operator (often Sean) skillfully guides the aerial action. In addition to tree removal, they also "de-bulked" and shaped several trees -- and it couldn't have turned out better -- there is certainly a bit of artistry involved, and they are quite good at it! And as others have mentioned, they clean up everything before leaving. Highly recommend!

Great company. Removed two trees for me years apart from each other and both times the people were great and they work quickly.

Awesome service......very nice people

Nice company, just too busy for the little guy who needs one tree cut down.

Did a great job! No issues thanks!

Top notch! Work was done within a few days of contact. Fast, clean, efficient and very knowledgeable. Will use for all my arborist needs.

I have never seen such an organized job. They have this tree removal down to a science. They leave everything as they found it. They even fluff up the grass that got flattened by the truck. Highly recommend.

Jeff Smith Tree Service has been our go to people for tree work. They call right away, come out for free estimates and discuss options and give professional suggestions.

The process is seamless from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone.

I needed a huge oak tree in my back yard taken out. They came 7:30 am , they are sooo professional ! They immediately buy down plywood on the front lawn so the lawn wasn’t damaged. The crew cleaned up afterwards. (Blew off all the debris from the roof , and both front and back yard). Sean the boss is amazing as well so kind got the job done in timely manner. I highly recommend Jeff smith tree service to anyone ! Especially if your in Westwood /rivervale /Hillsdale area. If I ever need another tree taken down I will definitely be calling Jeff smith. Amazing amazing work. My grandmother is 83 (who is the homeowner) and sean was so kind a polite to her afterwards when it was time to pay, gave her a receipt and treated everyone with respect. 10/10

Called for an estimate to get a tree taken down in my front yard. Was quoted within less than 24 hours. Receptionist told me it could be a week to 10 days depending on the weather and the available equipment needed for the job. The next day they had a time slot opening, came by and surgically removed the tree with no issue. I will be recommending them to everyone and using them again in the future. Great response time and friendly, polite staff. 10/10!

My yard always got some work to do through years. Ronny is always reliable. He changes reasonable. Highly recommend.

Ronny and the crew at DHI transformed the yard at one of our investment properties by trimming overgrown trees, leveling part of the yard, adding top soil and creating manicured beds. His crew worked quickly, professionally and took care to create wonderful curb appeal
