The technician who troubleshot my washer on Friday 13th February, asked to be contacted on Monday the 16th for his return to repair the appliance. We made several phone calls followed by a text message, but no response from the technician. Hence we rescheduled an appointment on-line for Tuesday February 17th. No one had shown up by 3:00 pm,. After speaking with customer service, customer service confirmed that the technician’s estimated time should be around 3:40, but he will reach out if he was running late. Since Tue was a no call and no show, we rescheduled again for Wed the 18th from 1-5pm. The same technician showed up at10:24 am saying he decided to come early without notifying us. He started working on the appliance for a few minutes before he stopped and said the closet doors need to be taken out and the dryer has to be disconnected and moved to enable him to work. He quickly reconnected the parts he had already removed and told us to call him to come back as he heads to his next appointment after the aforementioned tasks were performed. This man spent some time in our home Fri to diagnose the problem and didn’t mention anything about these tasks to take place before hand. Emergency services to take care of these things are costly. When I completed the tasks, I spoke with the technician who assured me of his return by 4:00pm. Unfortunately, the 4pm appointment was a no call no show again. I made a couple of phone calls and left messages all to no avail. I called customer service to find out where the technician was, but the automated customer service line informed me that the appointment was rescheduled for Thu, the 19th from 8am and 12pm without our consent. The same technician showed up this morning around 11am and gave no apology or explanation for his failures. The man worked on the washer for about 15 minutes and replaced two little rotary plates. Which means his initial troubleshooting was totally false. We were quoted to have gears replaced For $374. Even though the technician gave a discount, we demand a total refund of the amount paid for today’s service. We should be compensated for all the inconveniences we’ve been put through since last Friday. It's unfortunate that Sears does not have any live agents. Its impossible to get a person on the phone for anything. Even the online chat feature is automated or AI supported only so the only place I can voice my experience is online.
Since its impossible to get a human being on the phone. Please provide an email for correspondence.
