Flooring reviews in Wyckoff, New Jersey

Professional. Dependable. Enjoyable. It’s rare when you can find products you like as much as the personnel. All of our floors are done now but if they weren’t, I’d go right back here.

We bought carpeting for our bedroom here. Nice people, good service, and great carpeting.

Looking for stair runner for 115 yr old house. Farrah provided valuable advice and guidance in picking the best runner to match flooring and complement wall covering. Installers were real artisans, taking care to match up carpet at stair landing perfectly. Highly recommend.

Our experience purchasing carpet with Farrah at Hallmark Floor Co exceeded our expectations. Farrah is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. She made several recommendations for carpet on the stairs and area rugs. Our home looks so beautiful with the new carpet and rugs! We love it!

We are extremely pleased with Hallmark Floors. After purchasing a new home in Wyckoff, they sanded and refinished the hardwood floors throughout, and then helped us decide on a runner for the stairwell. Ed and Katie have been a pleasure to work with, the pricing is fair, and I couldn’t be happier to support a local family business. Would definitely recommend Hallmark Floor Company!

Not sure why my review is disappearing. Hoping it does not disappear again from google.
I had a hard time deciding whether I wanted to write a review or not but in the end I felt that it would be more beneficial than not. Our situation was a bit complicated & confusing but hoping to do my best to explain. The beginning process was great, Katie and Farrah both helped lend samples for me to try out for our one new room. Katie came out at one point to measure when it was still being built (mostly done) but I was told that was ok for her to come out so we decided to order the rug, I put a deposit down and was told it would come in a couple weeks. I made a point to note that if we needed more time would it be ok to ask and she said yes but not more than a week or two for liability reasons. About a week or so after we ordered the rug, we get a phone call from the scheduler named Dick, saying the rug was in. I told him our contractor had to finish up spackling & painting and would need until the end of the week at least. He wanted to get the rug in within two or so days of him calling and I said well Katie told us it would take a couple of weeks to come in, and we needed more time not within a week of ordering the rug. He made a comment along the lines of well it’s a small room so it shouldn’t take long for my contractor to do his work (and not in a nice way), and I said well he’s doing everything by himself and that’s not the point; you guys told us we had a couple weeks for this to come in. All things aside we agreed on the end of the following week once my contractor finished up. The disappointing part is when we agreed to do the rug, Katie told us that we would “tuck it“ not sure of the real name but somehow tuck it next to the laminate flooring where it met and I said that’s ok with me! The day the floor people came, the guy doing the flooring said he didn’t like the way the tucking would look and wanted to try something else. I said ok do what you have to (we are really easy going people here). The installers (who were very nice) tried another saddle and it still wasn’t working out, he left and said to call Katie to figure out what to do. We called and they told us that they would order some type of T/moulding or end moulding (not sure of the name) . It took us three weeks at the very least -with us reaching out multiple times via email and phone calls to get someone to even come back and look at it (again) because it was unfinished. MIND YOU - you have one person who said to tuck the carpet where it meets the laminate, another set of workers who come in and said didn’t look right, so here we are stuck waiting for someone to decide what to do while it was unfinished. In the end we called probably four or five times (was told by Katie a piece was ordered and Dick would reach out, but we never heard back), and emailed multiple times, with the last response falling on deaf ears. Finally my husband who is not confrontational was upset and called AGAIN, and they sent someone to look after all these weeks- but then told us the piece (the saddle) would have to be custom cause they would have to stain it. I don’t understand how you go from saying we can do one way, to having a worker installing it saying he doesn’t like the way it looks, to telling us we would probably have to pay because the saddle piece is custom? Again we waited 3-4 weeks to figure out what’s going to be done- sent multiple emails and phone calls and was given the run around. They finally installed the saddle yesterday! They said it’s custom cause they stained it & thankfully it matches but there is nothing custom about it other than the stain. I really liked them in the beginning but what happened between us is unacceptable business. Katie never reached back out to see if we liked it or apologized. We were never malicious- just wanted to get the job done. The lack of follow up is what hurt my review! -
I've used a few other flooring companies in Bergen county over the years, but I really wished I discovered Hallmark years ago. Having had a variety of mediocre or sometime bad experiences with their competition, I was pleasantly surprised by the entire transaction! Their prices were competitive with what you'd get at a big home center, their sales staff and showroom were fantastic, and the installation crew was very nice and accommodating and did a perfect job! I won't use any other flooring company going forward - they will always get my business.
For the record we had a vinyl floating floor installed over an old 1950s tile floor in our kitchen. The installation crew tore out the 1980's vinyl flooring and then leveled out the old flooring before putting in the replacement. A 1.5 day process, but I couldn't be happier with the outcome. -
We had a great experience with Farrah at Hallmark Flooring company from start to finish. I second Farrah was a pleasure to work with, professional and extremely helpful during the entire process. The installer was great too! I love my stair runner.

We’ve had Hallmark do multiple jobs in our home (hardwood refinishing, steam cleaning and stretching of existing carpets). Every interaction we have with them is professional and executed perfectly. We couldn’t be happier with their services!

I contacted Hallmark about replacing the carpet in my finished basement. They worked with my timeline and budget. The salesperson pulled great samples based on my wants and needs. She was very knowledgeable not only about their products but also design trends. The appointment for measuring was quick and easy. The install team was efficient and did great clean up. I'm so happy with the transformation, the look and feel is fantastic!

Katie, Dick and the team at Hallmark went above and beyond to install carpet for my wife’s aunt on the 15th floor of an upper East Side Manhattan apartment. They got it done right before the freight elevator shut down for 8 months. Phew! Kept me out of trouble with my wife and made her aunt happy with a beautiful carpet installation. I highly recommend their services!

We asked Katie to visit us and give us ideas for a troublesome situation with 120-year-old floor. She did and offered a solution at a good price for us.The installers came in and-realizing some hidden problems- offered a way to make adjustments and keep the same price. I do appreciate that they cared so much to make sure we were happy.
