Sloppy and expensive. They closed my pool last year and left the filter full of DE. Then they showed up this year and loaded the filthy filter with another bag of DE. It of course blew out all over the pool and I’m still cleaning up the mess. They didn’t fill up the chlorinator with tablets, just put in a few and left the rest for me to do. They didn’t set up the vacuum, they dumped the cover pump and bag of plugs in a pile next to the pool and hurried away. In and out in 25 minutes. Most expensive shop in town and they are just not focused on quality. I left a message for Darren letting him know there was an issue and I heard nothing back, so I’m leaving this review. Will be exploring other options in the future.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Last year they closed our pool for the first time - this year when they opened it, it needed several cleanings, which of course we were charged for, to get it right. First time that ever happened to us in 20 years. Problems with the heater during the summer all of a sudden too. Biggest disappointment was when I called them to close the pool. The day I called they immediately charged the FULL amount on my credit card. Two weeks later I still had not heard from them about a date. I finally called them when I noticed the charge on my credit card. I specifically told them that I wanted to be home when they came to close the pool, as I do not like anyone on the property when no one is here, additionally, I like to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to be doing. Darren called early Monday morning and asked about coming - my husband told him that he was going to check with me to make sure I would be home and we would call him back in 15 minutes. Ten minutes later we tried to call them but got only a recording saying the office was closed for the holiday. Called back again and got the same message. Darren never called us back. I finally got a hold of him later in the day and after several conversations he finally said that they would be there on Tuesday (today). I explained to him that I had to leave my house by noon to go to work. He called me back and left a message on my answering machine that they would be here early am and be all done by noon. They finally showed up at 11:20 and when I told the guys that they were supposed to be here at 8:30 I guess they thought that was funny. I asked them to leave and told them to have Darren call me. Ten minutes later Darren called with more excuses and I told him I wanted my money back since they charged my card for a service that they had not performed. This company is very unprofessional and unreliable. They do not call you back and once they have your money in advance they no longer care. It is just one excuse after another with them. Darren then gets nasty, as if I, the customer, are in the wrong with this situation. I would never use this company again and wish I had checked their reputation before using them at all. My advice? Check reviews and reputations before using anyone.....

I had requested an estimate for a pool remodel and the owner (Darren) came to my residence. Shortly after, I hired aquatic pools for a remodel of my pool and attached spa. New tiles, plaster and lights. The owner was pleasant and appeard genuine. A week later, they stared the job with an approximate finish date of the last week in June.
A few days before work was supposed to begin we had two small hiccups. #1 Darren had forgotten to add the price of the spa into the estimate and the price rose, but he did give a pretty nice discount for the mistake and mistakes happen. #2 The plaster I had chosen he was unable to get and it would have pushed the schedule back so he offered a free upgrade. No complaints on this.
But once the pool tiles, plaster and lights were completed (June 30, 2016) it went down hill. It is now June 26, 2016 and My wife and I are unable to get ahold of Darren or anyone beside the secretary, who always advises us she'll give him the message. I have called 4 times and my wife called once, each time the sectary stated she would give Darren the message. I also sent 2 emails, one to Darren and the second to Darren and the service department in hopes the service department would advise Darren to check his email.
Aquatic Pools have failed us by not completing our renovation and for having a complete lack of communication. They still need to install the spa and pool returns the 6 eye pool returns in the spa were installed to close to the wall and now we can screw on the eye portion of the pool return), install a marble accent stone, repair a broken tile the crew had damaged, remove drain plugs from the pool drain that they had installed when the plaster began and complete the 7th plaster maintaince. With the summer flying by us and no return calls from Aquatic Pools we have decided to hire another company to complete the work they left for us.
