I cannot say enough good things about this company and the employees I encountered! Upon estimate, he, I think it was Aldo, was professional, honest and knowledgeable. For example, he knew that it is important to install rebar on the extended driveway, and he told me the type of concrete they would be using. Aldo, responded quickly to emails which was amazing, and it really helped to expedite the job I so looked forward to getting done.
The crew showed up on time and did exactly what they said they would do as they collaborated with me to make the job just right. All of them Aldo, Luis and the rest were focused, skilled and professional. I am happy beyond belief, and I can truly say that having hired several contractors since 1995, this experience to have concrete installed, was exceptional and I have to say the best encounters and result!!! Thank you so much!!

In addition to the above message, they were so amazing I hired them to do another job! Again, the precision, the professionalism, the quality is beyond compare. I was so impressed that they were ALWAYS on time and on pour day, they had the concrete poured, even before I left the house early morning. I could not believe how efficient they were. They are expert!!! I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a contractor who will provide the highest quality and most trustworthy work possible. We've had 4 large works done by Mountain Side over the years. In all occasions they delivered the work as agreed and within the time agreed. The clean up was consistent and thorough.

This company is very reliable. The crews are very respectful. Luis and his team were great they really accommodated my wishes. I would recommend them for any project. My beautiful brick walkway and patio are beautiful.

They did a great job at an excellent price. We had a very irregular cement pathway to our door that was a trip-hazard. Mountain Side gave us 2 quotes - one for a smaller fix (& much smaller price) of a single slab that may or may not meet our approval and another for a complete removal and replacement job for 4 times as much. They did a fantastic job on the smaller/cheaper option and saved us a lot of money. That's good character and workmanship! Thanks!

Great experience. Family business. They pulled a permit and provided me a copy. 2 days they did the following: demo'd old driveway, installed high quality rebar and poured my new driveway. They are efficient and sent me pictures every day. Highly recommended this company. I could only upload one picture. The rebar.

MountainSide Contractors removed and replaced two sections of concrete in my driveway that were crumbling. This was the most positive experience I have ever had with a contractor and I highly recommend them. The quality of MountainSide's work and customer service was outstanding.

When MountainSide evaluated my project, they took the time to listen to my concerns, discussed different options for completing the work, and gave me a detailed, written estimate.

Their work crews showed up on time and did a great job. They were polite and efficient and they took the time to explain what they were doing and why. More importantly, the quality of their work was outstanding and they cleaned up the worksite at the end of each day.

Finally, MountainSide's customer service was outstanding. They kept me up-to-date on the status of the city permit, worked with me to schedule the most convenient date for the work, and followed through with me on every step of the project, including the removal of the cones and barricades after the concrete had hardened.

I have hired several contractors through the years, but the quality, efficiency, and level of customer service provided by MountainSide Contractors was absolutely outstanding. The next time I need work done, I will not hesitate to call them.

I asked for the replacement of my driveway and walkway to the front door. They did a good job. The only thing I did not think to mention was that I expected the driveway to be at the ground level when it met with the backyard thru a gate as it had been originally. When it turned out the new driveway was above ground level, I had a 4" difference in height thru the gate to the backyard. An obvious trip hazard and obstacle. Luis created a concrete mini ramp to accommodate the new issue. (The alternative being to raise the level of the backyard in the area around the gate in the backyard and create a stable slope.) I am grateful that the problem was rectified.

Aldo and his crew showed up and removed the top part of our driveway the same day we got their quote. The next day the driveway was poured and done with high density concrete. Perfect execution and his price was just below the lowest quote we got and far below many other quotes.

They did a great job putting in my 24x52 concrete pad. I would highly recommend this company. The crew was very professional and polite.

MountainSide did a fantastic job replacing two retaining walls in my back yard. There are City easements on both sides of my property and an arroyo on one side. Kudos to the operator of that little bulldozer for working in such a narrow space. The masons were true artists. Aldo Ornelas, general contractor, was a delight to work with. Brenda and the office staff understand what good communication and customer service are!! They built a wooden privacy fence between the block pilasters. It is beautiful! Thanks to all the staff who worked during rain, snow, wind and cold to get the job done. I heartily recommend MountainSide to anyone needing a proper retaining wall and beautiful privacy fence!!

After a wind storm knocked down my existing back wall I called around and decided on Mountain Side Contractors. They did a great job on removing the old cinder block wall and building a new one. They were quick to respond and provide a quote. They completed the job in two days. They were professional and cleaned up everything. I would highly recommend using them. I have included photos of before, during and after they came out.

This is the first time I have used Mountain Side Contractors. I found them on Angies list. From the first contact with them (initial call from Brenda) to the last encounter was outstanding in EVERY way! ALL of the staff was highly professional, extremely responsive and provided excellent workmanship. In this day and age (difficult to find a company that encompasses superior quality, professionalism and good value - along with people that want to work) - it is so refreshing to experience a company who stands by their word, exhibits the utmost integrity and professionalism. They showed up on time, were very respectful to my neighbors (noise factors) and always cleaned up after themselves as they found it. Cuco and Brenda were top notch in everyway. They kept me abreast during the entire process. I finally found a company that I can rely on! I will refer them to everyone I know, and will only utilize their services for any future projects! Please see the pictures - they raised our North and East walls and poured a very large concrete pad for our new Swim Spa, hot tub and sun deck.
