HIGH prices and LOW trust. Move on to the next company.

I received two different quotes from this company. The first quote was 3 times more expensive than their competitor TruGreen (who provided quick, professional & complete services btw) and the second quote I actually accepted from extreme landscaping! Well it took EL weeks to try and schedule the service with me (even with me reaching out to schedule) and so I accepted their electronic version of the quote with the line item that I wanted serviced. After another few days with no follow-up, I call them again! Turns out, after talking to the OWNER OF THE COMPANY, they told me that they wont honor the quote THEY gave me.

They tried to give me reasons to justify this, but after questioning the reasons, they ended up telling me that they actually didnt offer that service after all! and that they were doing it to just help me out since they thought they would be getting more business from me with the rest of the quote that I didn't accept.... The best part is when I told them how I found their company... It was from when their truck with their marketing graphics on the side pulled up to my neighbors house, to DO THE SERVICE THAT THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T EVEN OFFER! They were caught lying red handed and did nothing about it.

Awful awful business practices. If you wanted the quote to be accepted all or nothing, than you should really remove the functionality that allows you to pick and choose line items to accept... and don't give out a number as an official quote if you don't want it to be accepted...

I first found Extreme Landscaping when I needed my irrigation system replaced, about 4 years ago. They did a great job and explained everything they were going to do; then showed me how the completed system worked. I then signed on with them for irrigation system maintenance; they come once a month from March through November and are available for emergencies if something goes wrong between the monthly visits. Angel is the main maintenance professional, and he does an excellent job. He's usually accompanied by a helper/trainee, and they work well together. They always tell me what they've found during their inspection of the watering system, and what they have had to repair, if anything.
The company has sometimes needed to change my regular appointment because of emergencies elsewhere, and I regard this as a positive, because it suggests that if my system has a true emergency, they will respond to it as quickly as possible and reschedule someone else's regular maintenance visit.
The office staff are great also - they respond quickly to texts, which I find is the best way to communicate with them, and they schedule my visits when I can be home (my watering system controls are not accessible from outside my garage, so I have to be here). I'm delighted with their service and recommend them highly.

We had bought a house a couple months back and the existing irrigation system was a mess (hoses exposed out in the open and torn, sprinklers not working properly, etc.) and so we wanted to get a replacement with new lines. I had received a couple quotes and decided to go with Extreme Landscaping because they seemed the most credible. Not that other businesses would be less professional or won't do a good job (I wouldn't be able to tell since I have no experience with them), but I just decided to go with Extreme since they seemed the most legit and had the best reviews. As expected, the staff member (I wish I could remember his name) arrived first thing in the morning and completed the job within the expected time frame. Our irrigation system is working great now. In short, they delivered the promised work on the scheduled date in an efficient and timely manner. I value efficiency and timeliness, which is what boosts the credibility of a business. I will certainly use Extreme Landscaping for other services in the future.

- Nikki, the office worker is a charming person who is perfect for a customer facing role. I loved my interactions with her when she would promptly keep me updated and informed of my projects progress.
- Angel, my technician was amazing as well. I really liked his humble expertise. I respect the fact that he came to my house (other companies were trying to give me quotes over the phone) and returned to manage the project because he knew exactly what I wanted.

Overall, I got exactly what I wanted at a great price with some great quality. (The system is working great)! I should mention they cleaned up the work site beautifully so as soon as they left, I could go out and enjoy my now repaired beautiful front yard. - THANK YOU EXTREME.

Update and reply to businesses reply: I paid my bills timely with only a rare exception. You had a glitch in your system, which was showing I owed $0.00, so I didn't pay anything. The minute Melissa called me and told me I had a balance, I PAID IT IN FULL. I waited only a short time to pay the $900.00 + Irrigation bill because I had a couple of emergencies that came up costing me about $5000.00, not counting your bill. I paid your bill, it just took me a little while. My biweekly maintenance was routinely paid. I may have forgotten once or twice because I was very busy and only getting 1-4 hours of sleep every night plus working long hours. You've ALWAYS been paid until your employee lied about me and my dogs. Once your employee turned off my sprinklers and didn't repair the broken sprinklers, then being told to walk off the job without finishing, I refused to pay for repairs that weren't done. If you would have been more professional and responded to my calls and emails, rather than lie, walk off the job, and terminate my services unwarranted, you would have been paid. Your company is a liability to me and to my valuable dogs, especially since they don't bite. Some of your guys said they will miss my dogs. So much for me having vicious dogs. My dogs are very playful and well trained. I was never asked to put them inside while your crew was here. Isaiah, the Irrigation guy, was the only one, and he showed up a day late and without notifying me he was coming. My dogs are on a schedule. They can't be expected to wait to go outside to go potty. It's their yard. I've never had issues with my dogs with anyone!! They LOVE people and want to play. They do NOT bite, and I have the video to prove the lies. I NEVER once said to man up, or it didn't break the skin. I said, "My dogs don't bite," He doesn't have any marks," "He can't tell me which dog supposedly bit him," and "My video cameras show he was never bitten by any of my dogs." I can also show when I've paid my balances. I called and voiced my concerns initially about my yard not being mowed, but I was charged for it to be mowed. You said you didn't think I would be happy with anything you did. I was happy once Grant listened to what I wanted and how low to mow the yard. I am not allowed to voice any concerns, just had to deal with it with your company, and that's not right. Your bill initially showed it was lower on the app for the Irrigation repairs. Suddenly, my bill was huge so I called Melissa to find out what happened, not negotiate a lower price. Get your facts straight and stop spreading more lies about me. You're making millions of dollars mowing lawns and Irrigation repairs, but not by me ever again!! Your customer service skills are very poor and need improvement. You need to understand slander and liable since you're slandering my name in print and in a public forum.

Initial review: Grant and his coworker are the only things good about this company. They do fantastic work, but the company has poor customer service skills. I have been with them for quite a while, and now they want to stop service because I have dogs. I've had dogs all along. My dogs are very friendly and want to play with the guys when they are here. One of the Irrigation guys lied and said one of my dogs bit him, but he didn't have any marks and couldn't even say which dog bit him. The company verified that the employee doesn't have any marks. They now turned off several of my sprinklers and left, then terminated my services for having very friendly dogs. What a joke!! These guys are very overpriced. They charged me over $900.00 to fix one sprinkler blocked by roots from my pine tree. They charged $125.00 just for their guys to use their own trencher for less than an hour. I could have rented one for the whole day for less than that. They charged me for each employee who came to watch the Irrigation Supervisor trench the yard when all they did was stand around and watch. They take months to fix sprinklers. Find someone else if you want quality work for a fair price.

I have had several positive experiences with Extreme Landscaping. I have dealt mainly with Isaiah and am very pleased with the service I’ve received. This company stands behind their work, is very upfront with costs, and the overall staff is great. They arrive on time and prepared!!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Extreme Landscaping. Everything about the process was handled well and the end result was excellent. Joaquin explained to me all the options available to me for the backyard Xeriscape I was looking for. He showed me samples of rock, explained plants and options for boulders and measured my property. That day I received my quote and I began working with Melissa on the scheduling and billing. Melissa even went above and beyond by coming out to my house and fine tuning my plant selections and going over the details. On installation day, Joaquin came by to get the crew started, and I was introduced to Will, who was in charge of the crew. Will is a wonderful person to work with, and he listened to how I wanted the yard to look, which was "random desert" as I wanted the landscaping to look as natural as possible. That is exactly what I got, and I am very happy with the results. The crew cleaned up after themselves, and when they left there was no trace that they had ever been here. This company truly goes above and beyond, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them for landscaping here in Las Cruces!

Seems like a good company and they were very nice. One of the workers came by and checked out our yard and asked what we were wanting. The only thing is I was never given an estimate or contacted for the next step. I reached out but didn’t get a response so not sure what happened. I believe it has been almost two weeks since the guy has come, it’s ok tho. Appreciate you guys looking.

Extreme Landscaping has been maintaining my property for several years. I recently redesigned my backyard. New rock and artificial grass was installed. The business is easy to communicate with, and they brought my vision to life. The crew always do a great job of general yard maintenance. I can count on them to address yard issues, and they are professional while on my property.

Extreme did a great job on our landscaping project. Melissa and Mathew were easy to deal with and very responsive to requests. Thank you to Will and the crew for working hard and having great attitudes. Always very respectful and courteous. Mathew went above and beyond several times and we appreciate the service.

I have had Extreme landscaping do a yearly clean up for the last 3 years. They do a great job, they listen to what you would like done and go the extra mile. This year they did an exceptional job trimming and clean up. Thanks Extreme

Highly recommend. The foremost importance of a continual service for me is communication and Extreme Landscaping is that for this field. I get biweekly details of the work they do and additional needs are communicated promptly. I don't think theres a single time I've called or texted that I haven't received a reply within minutes. And anytime that service needs to be disrupted due to inclement weather or anything else, I'm alerted promptly with options of rescheduling.

These guys did an incredible job and left my yard in beautiful condition! They removed several bushes and took out a portion of an oleander that was pushing into my fence. They were quick and they left my yard looking like it had just been newly landscaped. I will definitely use this company again.
