Waste Management reviews in Sunland Park, New Mexico

Muy limpio y servicio rapido
-
Place is stupid as hell. Show up and they tell me I need a safety vest? Had to leave to go buy one. These idiots make it so hard to throw trash in the right place, no wonder so many people dump in the desert
-
terrible never answer the phone
-
I witnessed a dead horse
-
I'll perfer to drive 2 hours to any other place,
-
Called seveal times ...no aswer ..bad customer service.
-
This place needs to train their employees and supervisors on customer service.
-
Employees were Very helpful, phone help was very Courteous and patient answered all my questions
-
VERY BAD PHONE MANNERS. I asked for an individual who used to work there and he said I had the wrong number and just hung up with out seeing if i was calling for any particular service. Rude.
-
Been here multiple times. They don't enforce safety vest and tarp covering trash fairly.
-
I've never in countered this woman maybe she is gone, the men that I have dealt with age kind and helpful and the price seems to be right.
-
They need to update the website, doesn’t mention anything on the website about needing your load covered with a tarp or having to have safety vests. The man at the station was rude and when we tried asking further questions seemed to pretend to not understand us.
-
What kind of landfill eyeballs the load to determine how many cubic yards are going to be charged, what the hell is the scale for? You guys should charge by the weight, it would definitely be more accurate..
-
You must wear a safety jacket to get in. Close to my home to dump and very convenient. Employees were very nice and courteous.

It’s a dump. I have been there a few times to get rid of garbage, tree trimmings, furniture and construction debris.
The El Paso citizen center is available but they are a pain to deal with. This place is cheap compared to some of the places in other states, so I’m happy. Sometimes I end up in a giant field and dump, while other times are into dumpsters. Anyways, easy as pie.
Just make sure you have a safety vest and cover your load. Safety items that take a few extra steps. -
Resdential drop off. I pulled the carpet from house. Bring a safety vest, gloves, if you prefer a light dust mask. My google maps didnt bring me to the correct location but pretty close. Signs are fairly clear where to go. They had change for cash. Which it was 18.88 to dump a truck bed of this carpet. The gate manager direct me where to go. Pulled up about 1.5 miles to dump spot. They had a ground guide to direct me. Dumped the carpet and left. Easy peasy. Over all positive experience will be doing it again soon.

I looked for any info in their website and it is really poor. When I got there the guy told me I needed a safety vest. I had to turn back with my load. I agree with all safety measures. But you have to inform the people about that in advance in your website, which only states how great they are and nothing else. They suck.

I just dealt with a female by the name of Sonia who for the life of me I can't figure out why she gets up in the morning and goes to work. She obviously hates her Job. It would be amazing if she could learn a little bit of customer service when dealing with the public. I think she needs to quit her job or be fired.
-
Called to see how much it would cost to throw away an old couch. The lady talked too quickly and when I asked her to please repeat the cost, she got really snarky with me. Maybe train your employees to understand what customer service means? And I see by the other reviews I'm not the only person who had an issue with this woman!

Place is terrible. The pricing is never consistent. One day it was by weight and another day by volume. I was charged $98 for a small trailer. The guy at the window just eyeballed my load and decided to charge what he thought was right even with a scale. Terrible service and roads up to the dump area are littered with debris. We are unfortunately stuck with this for the west side. I would give 0 stars for inconsistent pricing and terrible customer service.

Place is a dump 😉
I think it would be good if they would put more emphasis on the safety vest and tarping requirements on their website & road signs closer to Doniphan, perhaps. Anyways, once I had my vest I was good to go. (just wish I'd have known b4 I sat in line for 30 minutes) only $11 for my pickup load.
