Very unprofessional company. I made an appointment a week in advance and we stayed at house to wait and because we did not pick up phone immediately by the time I called back in 10 minutes they said they were not coming anymore because the electrician was going somewhere else now. If this is how they deal with a simple appointment I can imagine how bad the rest of their work and service is.

ALBERTSON ELECTRIC – 1st Class Service

Upon arrival home one day after work I realized that half of my house did not have power. My refrigerator, stove and living room all were without electric. I called up Albertson Electric, who provides after hours emergency service, and within a half an hour a technician arrived at my house to troubleshoot the problem. He was very efficient in his work and quickly diagnosed the problem of a faulty main breaker. Not only did he fix the problem on the spot, but he also took the time to explain what he was doing and point out to me how to see warning signs of issues in the future. The work was impeccable, the service was top notch and the price was great. I will only use Albertson Electric moving forward with any other electrical work I need and would not hesitate to refer Albertson Electric to anyone who is looking for assistance.

wow and I mean wwooowww!! What an ELECTRIFYING experience. From the first phone call I was SHOCKED at the level of knowledge and professionalism of this company. Once they came to my house to do work I was AMPED up at the speed in which everything was done. The quality of the work was incredible. I’m definitely WIRED and hooked and will be using them again!!

I had a great experience with Alberston Electric a while ago, when I just "took a chance" finding them in the phone book.
Since they did such a great job then, I decided to call them again for a new project which needed electric components.
Let me start with the caring and intelligent secretarial staff.
They listen to your request and reply to you quickly with answers or have someone in charge call you back THAT DAY.
The owner Joe is unbelievable in his approach to the customer.
He has gone WAY beyond to help us with an electrical installation for a project that was financially not worth his time, I am sure.
Their workmanship is first rate, their prices are EXTREMELY fair and you will not find better service in the industry.

I don't hate them because I have used them. But I made an appointment with them for August 5 and they did not show. I understood it was because of Isias the day before. However, they have never called back and it is now Sept 1. We even stopped there last week and nothing. We went with another electrician in Mineola and they came, gave us an estimate and will do the work next week.

Paula and Rebecca in the office went above and beyond! They are wonderful to deal with, have tons of patience and turned a nightmare into a pleasure!
Edwin, the electrician was so helpful navigating a complex situation and he did a fabulous job!

I recently has my Federal Pacific fuses all replaced by Albertson Electric. The job went perfect. It was reasonably priced and work went smooth, They also installed a whole house generator and this went very smooth also.The generator was purchased a few weeks before instalation as I received a 10 year warrently during a promotional period. The company also put lites around my house that work great.
Albertson Electric is reliable, fairly priced and the workers are respectful,neat, courteous and can handle any problems. I cannot say enough good things about Joey, the owner and the electricians that performed the work at my house are awesome. John the electrician is outstanding. No job is too tough for him. He fixed old one of a kind lights and they now work as they did 21 years ago.
I am fortuate to have them assist me in all my electrical needs as I have had numerous contractors work this year at my house and albertsons is the best.
I recommend them highly.

What a truly professional experience I had with Albertson Electric! It was such an easy process, even though the project I gave them was quite challenging. The crew assigned to my job were punctual and thorough, and the price I was quoted for was very competitive. If you need top-notch electrical work...look no further!

Albertson electric always has excellent advice and information . I have used them for many years and will definitely recommend them. They have fair pricing and their employees are on time, knowledgeable and respect property as they work.

In retrospect, I have read many 1 star ratings regarding this company. Wish I had taken the time to review these ratings before I contracted their services. Waited one whole day for electrician to come and no one showed up or even had the decency to call. When the office was contacted at 4pm was told he was running late (really) and would be coming soon but never did. Called office next day and was told electrician would show up that day but didn't show up until following day. Once at premises, was only able to replace two GFI's and couldn't figure out how to install a thermostat or install a Ring doorbell. Before electrician was able to finish work order, he was told to leave premises by his employer. Subsequently got a bill for $400 to replace 2 gfi's and I sent a check for $200 which I thought was more than generous considering the amount of work accomplished and for the loss of time waiting for the electrician to finally show up. Without any call back, my check was returned and I eventually received a Demand Letter for payment. Went to small claims court (not for the money but for the principle) and wouldn't you know owner was there for another case as well.
Turns out the judge agreed with my explanation and we settled for $200. I wrote this lengthy review so others will not be dupped by this no show inconsiderate rip off electrician.

They came to my mom's residence to give an estimate for repairing a generator. Not only did they not take the time to come into the house to explain to my disabled mother what their inflated charge would amount to, but they billed her $190 for the estimate ("service call"), despite performing no work. We then went with Brookville Electric, who serviced the generator for a fraction of the cost.

We worked together in one project and I was impressed by their excellent communication, availability, and quality work. Highly recommend them.

Poor customer service. I scheduled an appointment on 3/28 for Albertson Electric to install a quad box. I waited six hours, but no one showed. I repeatedly called their office during this time, and Rebecca assured me that though the electrician was delayed due to an emergency call after hours, that he would be coming. Stringing a customer along for six hours is unprofessional. I asked for a call from one of the owners, but I am still waiting, three weeks later. I have used this company before, and it is disappointing to see them drop the ball.

We are in the middle of our second large job with Albertson Electric (AE). We have had them do other small jobs as well. We can’t fully express how happy we are with them. How often do you have any type of home contractor arrive early, call to let you know, then approach your house at the exact moment they said they would arrive, finish in the time specified initially, leave no mess, and price the job at far below what their competitors did? They are so professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, and friendly that the hassle of home repairs is completely eliminated. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I only wish they did every type of contracting so I’d never have to deal with anyone else. Thank you AE and Joe Jr.! You are fantastic!

Replaced electric service, did great job! Serviceman was very thorough, neat, fast, and got along great with my dog!
