Be wary of Von-Aire - they're quick to recommend costly fixes without understanding the issue. They wouldn't engage in a discussion about my AC problem even when I asked. The whole experience felt like overcharging at $80.

They essentially told me that the unit might have issues often and refused to switch it out with a new one. The female manager I spoke to seemed more interested in making money than resolving the issue.

In contrast, my downstairs air conditioner from a different company has worked flawlessly for over 10 years. Be warned: Von-Aire sells likely defective or cheap products and only tries to fix problems if you're willing to pay extra. I'll be switching to another company for repairs and will avoid them in the future.
