Chimney Sweep reviews in Brooklyn, New York

Our chimney was in complete disrepair. We had other companies give us estimates, never get back to us, or tell us the work would take weeks. When I called Allied, I immediately knew I was in good hands when scheduling was a breeze. Alex came and thoroughly diagnosed the many problems we had and gave us a reasonable estimate with a solid game plan. When he came back to do the work with his crew, they did an amazing job -- and they did it all in ONE day. They worked tirelessly, neatly, and the results are excellent. They really cared about doing good work, and it really showed. I would absolutely recommend them, especially for those of us in 100+ year old homes with chimney in need of extra love and care.

Used Allied to repoint my chimney and I couldn't be happier! Office staff was so helpful and kind, Dana really went above and beyond to answer all my questions and made scheduling a breeze. Service technician Diego was nice and professional. He gave me an excellent price and did beautiful work. It was a pleasure working with them and I will definitely use them again in the future. 10/10 recommend!!!!

I called Allied when we discovered there was a blockage in my chimney that was causing carbon monoxide to back up into our home. It was a terrifying experience, but Allied came promptly and successfully resolved the issue. They were professional, did excellent work, left no mess, and their price beat the other 2 estimates I'd received. I will certainly be recommending Allied to everyone from now on. Thank you all again for the great job!

Allied installed a chimney flue for me but I soon noticed that it was leaking. I called them up and let them know what was happening. They came out and got the problem rectified at no extra cost.

We used this company for chimney cleaning and chimney cap installation, and the results were poor. Didn’t secure tarps and soot got into the living room. The cap installation now allows drafts and water ingress. When I asked about the cleaning cost and their recommended chimney repair, answers were evasive and noncommittal. I had to hire another contractor to inspect their work. If you consider this chimney service, get a written guarantee and photos of any recommended chimney repair before agreeing to additional costs.

True professionals. Had a routing problem with my chimney, they spotted the problem immediately using a camera and were able to fix it on the spot. This was no easy fix as there were obstructions in the chimney they needed to work around, but they did a great job. Highly recommend Allied for chimney repair.

I had Allied Roofing out to inspect our two chimneys. They were extremely thorough, prompt, and courteous. They answered all my questions and provided a detailed report of their findings. I highly recommend them if you need help with your fireplace!!

I would highly recommend Allied Roofing and Chimney for your solid fuel needs. We have had John do our Woodstove cleaning and checkup for the last four years. Very happy with the work done, and he always leaves the area clean and tidy after he is done. Will continue to use and recommend Allied Roofing.

I had an outstanding experience with Allied Roofing from start to finish. Their customer service was top-notch, making the entire process smooth and efficient. The roofing work was completed quickly without compromising on quality. From the initial contact to scheduling and actual roof replacement, everything was handled professionally. I highly recommend their services for a hassle-free experience.

Was referred by a friend. Called for a quote, and received instant feedback. Very friendly and professional. Explained in detail the process and the approximate time to complete the job. They showed up a bit early, looked out my window and gladly let them in and they were ready to start earlier than the planned time and worked efficiently with zero setbacks.
Highly recommend.

I called Brian for what I thought was going to be an impossible job, he was able to complete the job perfectly. He was quick & very reasonable & reliable. I would highly recommend him for any chimney issues

I had Brian do work on my chimney he's very good I recommend him

All About Chimneys is a really great company. They are on time, professional and thorough. Pete listened carefully and went from basement to roof several times to investigate. After having such a good experience with them (to identify an issue which turned out to involve our neighbor's chimney), I would not hesitate to call them again.

Bryan is a cut above the rest in his field. He knows his stuff and explains everything honestly. Our chimney wall had to be refaced. Excellent work. Clean up is spotless and he calls you back quickly. I'm happy we have him and his crew!! Thank you again Bryan and Peter!

I had a very old chimney that had aluminum siding falling off in deteriorating shape. Bryan and Pete are masters at rehabilitating old chimneys to make them look modern at a very reasonable cost. They do fantastic and neat work. They show up on time and finish the job right away. They clean up the entire area after finishing up. I highly recommend this company for chimney repairs! I have before and after pictures to show you what they did to my house in Bath Beach part of Brooklyn.

Bryan was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I was dealing with an ongoing boiler issue that turned out to be the result of poor and incorrect work done by a previous chimney company. After weeks of frustration and uncertainty, I reached out to Bryan on a whim, and it ended up being one of the best decisions I could have made. From the very beginning, Bryan was responsive, professional, and incredibly thorough. Everything was explained clearly and honestly, without any pressure or upselling. Bryan took the time to fully assess the situation, walk me through what actually needed to be done, and explain why the previous work was incorrect. That level of transparency immediately built trust.Given that I had already paid once for services that were done improperly, Bryan was very fair and considerate with pricing, which I truly appreciated. Throughout the process, everything was carefully documented, and Bryan showed me exactly what had been done wrong previously and how it was being corrected. Seeing the evidence and understanding the fixes made me feel confident and informed every step of the way. It’s rare to find someone who is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also patient, honest, and willing to take the time to educate their customers. The quality of work and attention to detail were outstanding, and the entire experience was smooth and stress‑free. If you’re dealing with boiler or chimney issues and want someone you can genuinely trust, I can’t recommend Bryan highly enough. I’m incredibly grateful for the help and would absolutely use Bryan again in the future.

Bryan was communicative throughout the entire process and was helpful in explaining what needed to be done to my chimney flue. Highly recommend.
