Our home has been under construction in one way or another since April 2021. We've employed multiple contractors for different projects and a swarm of workers. Of the lot, Jewel has been the jewel, the best of the best. He and his team were super easy to work with and they produced a deck for us that exceeded our expectations. Jewel is cool. He's also personable, and knowledgeable. We are left wishing that we had used him for all our other projects. H'll be in charge of our future projects, though, for sure.

As a new home owner, I had to remodel the whole kitchen and do the floor before moving in with my wife and our twins. I was seeking a professional and fully licensed contractor when I came across Jewel’s construction company.

I set a fair budget for all the renovations and the 2 contractors I spoke to before Jewel were both SO over priced.

Jewel came very quickly to look at the kitchen and the apartment to give me a quote. I explained that I wanted to be done as soon as possible. He gave me a fair quote that was within my budget. He was very professional and made a great impression on me, so I decided to work with him. Co-ops are known for their strict regulations. Jewel was able to fulfill all requirements necessary and abide by all their laws.

I wanted to share my good experience and recommend him to anyone needing work done in their home. Him and his team were very professional, honest, courteous, and hard-working until the very end. He understood my needs and was able to professionally advise on the smallest detail. I’m planning on working with him again this summer to remodel my bathroom.

We engaged Jewel Construction Company to replace our deck.
The project entailed refurbishment of the metal support structure including scraping, cleaning, repair of damaged sections (welding), and painting; removal of severely deteriorated wooden deck boards; installation of additional support beams; and installation of composite wood deck boards.

The project was completed at the proposed cost which was competitive. The workers showed up on time every day, worked hard, and were friendly and courteous. The site was thoroughly cleaned and debris removed at the conclusion of the project. Mr. Jewel is consistently responsive and easy to work with. We are very happy with our completed deck and highly recommend Jewel Construction Company.

I am very happy with my new deck that they expertly built. The builders removed my old deck in one work day. When building the new deck, they were meticulous and diligent in ensuring all requested specs were implemented while maintaining structural integrity. If there were any changes to made, they were very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure they can be made within a reasonable amount of time and pricing. All in all, I highly recommend Jewel Construction Company.

My search for a contractor ended as soon as we were done speaking to Jewel. During our initial consult he was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. His knowledge in modern trends is excellent and he gave fantastic input for recommendations when we were unsure on what we wanted to do. When we were sure on what we wanted he was able to get it all done with no stress. I can tell he takes pride in the work that his company offers, it was done fast and thoroughly with great attention to detail. It was amazing to see how much work they were able to accomplish day by day. I could not be happier with the results that he gave me and he will be the first person I reach out to for all future projects.

Jewel Construction is a fantastic company. We have a tiny backyard behind our home here in Brooklyn. This year we decided to try & improve the space by installing a deck. Jewel was hired for the job & WOW! Our backyard has been transformed to an urban oasis! Jewel’s price was incredible. His work was timely & meticulous. I hired Jewel to update my disaster of a kitchen and put down a cement patio in my backyard. My kitchen was a bit of a tricky job but they exceeded my expectation. Jewel did an excellent job of explaining all the available options and helped us choose a design we loved. Jewel Construction removed and replaced our old backyard deck and the lattice along the back wall. We are very pleased with their work. Throughout the process the owner offered several useful suggestions and was prompt and responsive to our questions. The crew showed up on time every day and got to work immediately. They were polite, professional and cleaned up afterwards. Even with a day of rain they finished the job ahead of schedule. We are delighted with the final result and will use them again.

PROFESSIONAL! Jewel Construction were efficient and thorough facilitators of a project that evolved from an elevated deck and patio into a yardcrash beyond the original contract addressing existing issues at reasonable rate.

We hired Jewel and his team for a home renovation project to remove old wood paneling throughout half of our house. Jewel expertly handled the demolition and installed new Sheetrock, transforming our outdated walls. During the project, he also replaced old electrical wiring that were discovered behind the paneling, ensuring everything was up to date and safe. The end result was stunning, and we couldn’t be happier.

Jewel is a person to have on your team. Jewel Construction was a referral from Home Depot. We decided to use them to rebuild our deck because of their previous projects, which matched up with what we were looking for. The owner, Jul, showed up on time for all appointments. His crew is very capable, and extremely polite. I was involved in watching the project from start to finish. They took all of my questions and concerns seriously. We are completely satisfied with the entire process which took less than 2 weeks from estimate appointment to the project finish.

I am pleased to update this review and report that Jewel has now completed 4 projects with us, for a kitchen, pantry, bath, and full basement renovation. The kitchen, pantry, and bath renovation projects were key to getting a great sales price for our condo, and the full basement renovation of our house has added a significant amount of valuable living space.

We have been very impressed over the past 3 years with Jewel’s work, and would strongly recommend Jewel Construction Company to family and friends for any job!
