ORBA Electric was a huge contributor to the success my teams had performing remediation along the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn, NY. ORBA was prompt, responsive, and proactive with pulling permits, setting up temporary facilities, and installing new lines to generators for specialty construction equipment. ORBA was there early the next morning every time we had an issue. They were even able to figure out a voltage/directional issue with a large electric screw pump which arrived from Germany. The emergency response time for a sensitive site was impressive to say the least. ORBA is now my first call if I need temporary power and facilities performing specialty construction in the NY Metro area.

I have the highest respect for Leeor Solomon and ORBA Electric. I gave them a very complex situation involving a 40-year old open permit that was not my client's doing but was creating a serious obstacle to the closing on a property. Leeor stayed on the project until it was completed, which involved a lot of work, interaction with the city, and multiple inspections. Leeor always sought the most cost-effective way to get done what needed to get done. His work passed all inspections. I highly recommend him.

Came back from vacation with the power out..Leeyore answered promptly and was providing assistance even before making it to the house. He went far beyond the call of duty (inspecting pictures, taking the time out to video call to further inspect the electric box). He was super patient, very thorough and far exceeded expectations in both service and price. During Snowstorm Fred on January 25th, we experienced a terrifying electrical emergency — a loud explosion, complete power loss, and a strong burning electrical odor inside our Sheepshead Bay/ Brighton Beach pharmacy. The cause was a major burnout from Con Edison’s service line, creating serious safety concerns in the middle of a blizzard.
We called four electricians with no response or availability. Leeor and his team at ORBA Electric responded immediately.
They carefully traced all damaged wiring, replaced the service panel, breakers, and affected circuits, and — most impressively — handled all coordination with Con Edison from start to finish. I didn’t have to make a single call. They explained everything clearly and worked efficiently despite the storm.
What could have taken weeks was resolved in just a couple of days. For emergency electrical work, service upgrades, or Con Edison coordination, ORBA Electric is unmatched. I cannot recommend them enough.

This company saved us! We needed all of our smoke alarms changed (11!) asap after they started going off randomly in the middle of the night. This company was responsive immediately, were able to do the job that day and now we also found an electrician! I recently hired an electrician from HK Electric Inc. to replace my Federal Pacific panel, which had been flagged during an inspection as outdated and unsafe. The need for an upgrade was also critical to meet home insurance eligibility, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received. They also went an extra mile by installing proper grounding measures with a ground rod and bar for extra safety along with the panel installations and boxes. I even asked them for a paper for approval with their signature and electrician license number and stamps, and they were kind enough to do it for me! Insurance companies are such a hassle and these guys made my life so much better.

This was a major issue, especially during a busy period, and we needed help fast. I called them, and they responded immediately. The team arrived within the hour, quickly assessed the situation, and explained that the fuses needed to be replaced with new ones to get the power back on. They efficiently replaced the blown fuses with updated, safer versions, ensuring everything was up to code.
