DBW or "Handy Man in New York City" sub contracts their work out to non skilled laborers whom are certainly unqualified to do ANY handyman work.

They cancelled appointments. They did no show up for appointments. They broke one of my light fixtures while attempting to install it. They did not replace the broken fixtures.

The operator, A.J., is incompetent. Their technicians left me with a comedy of errors and hundreds of dollars worth of damage.

Save yourself so much time, money and mental stability by staying away from this business.

Very professional and excellent service from George. He is knowledgeable and comes very prepared for all wall types.

Boerum Hill Handyman & Painter installed an awning in our garden.. They did a perfect work and it looks very nice.. We have a nice shade now and when they were done we asked them to stay for tea and enjoy their work.. It was a nice experience and we highly recommend them..

This company is a complete joke. I have never had a worse communication experience with a company that I’m paying for services. Their handyman was a complete no show and the office staff was completely useless and unable to provide any information on when a new technician would arrive. I was told I’d receive calls back and didn’t receive a single one. Hours later someone called who would show up and charge 50% more and the office wouldn’t answer any of my calls when I tried calling them back. Awful service.
