I have been a customer for Buffalo Lawn and Pest Services for several years. I have been very happy with their customer service. They call to let me know when they are coming out to make sure they do not conflict with our grass cutting service. Anytime I call with a questions they promptly get back to me. They are always willing to answer any questions I have about taking care of my lawn.

Would love to review their actual work but, unfortunately, never got the opportunity.

Reached out in regards to a lawn project I wanted help with and spoke with a very polite service rep. They advised they would have the estimator give me a call to set up a time to come by. I received a call after about a week and a half and spoke to the man responsible for giving estimates. We set up a time for the following Tuesday.

He called me up about 30 minutes after the discussed time to apologize for being late and confirm we were still on. I, unfortunately, needed to reschedule at that point but was fine doing so - things happen and people make mistakes, after all. We then moved the day to the following Thursday of that week - same time.

On that Thursday, I didn't receive a call and he never arrived. I waited a week to see if someone would reach out and they never did.

I do my best to be kind and patient in all situations as we are all human and things happen. This encounter was incredibly disheartening and I honestly expected better, given all of the raving Google reviews. Maybe it was something I said? At any rate, I'll have to look elsewhere and, hopefully, this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Doing business the first time this year. Very satisfied with the staff providing the lawn care. It is good having a local business to work with, they listen to your concerns and work to address them. Overall I approve!

I've been a customer for years. Competitive Price, very good service and helpful/informative technicians. Always responsive in the event a weed or small patch shows up. Technicians Cory & Alex will talk to explain chemical technology as well as types of weeds/family/characteristics of weeds, crabgrass, etc.
Good people, good company no complaints in 15 plus years.

I am very pleased with the service that I have received thus far this season. It is important to me that you are able to also provide a phone call the day before service is proformed since I do have a visiting dog on the premisis a few days a week. Keep up the great work!!!

We have used Buffalo Lawn & Pest Control for three years or so. Their prices are the best, and our grass looks better than ever. We don’t like harsh weed control, so they spot treat if requested. We also get perimeter pest control for ants and spiders. Again, the best price for perimeter pest control. All lawn care businesses are not the same - they promised greener grass and we have greener grass. Grass that withstands our hot summers. Highly recommend Buffalo Lawn & Pest Control.

I prepaid online to get core aeration services done in the fall of 2025. I continue to get invoices for the service despite numerous requests to close my invoice as “paid”. I also received confirmation that the account was settled (screenshot attached).

Great service all summer long — Alex P is outstanding as our technician. Very thorough in explanation of services, and efficient when he comes out. Would recommend Alex & Buffalo Lawn + Pest services for any lawn treatment needs.

Today was our first service from Buffalo lawn and Pest Services. The technician, Alex, listened to our concerns and made sure he addressed them. We hope to see Alex at our next service. He did a great job!

Inconsistent. When a service tech is aware of someone watching the job is good. If they think no one is watching, the service is much different. Not as consistent , poor results.
I called several times to voice my concerns. No one ever came out and speak to me. I would not recommend this company

We have been customers of Buffalo lawn and Pest, utilizing both lawn and pest services, for several years. Communication via phone, email or website is quick and easy. As a result of their professional manner, prompt service, friendly and informative communication, reasonable rates and the results of a healthy lawn we will continue to remain customers and encourage others to give them a call.

It was my second year having this company for my lawn maintenance.
My dog was sick and having to go to the bathroom every hour, I called days in advance to cancel the treatment, nobody returned my call and they still sent someone and sprayed the lawn.
This was a big deal because instead of letting her out in my backyard, I now had to get dressed, put a harness and leash on and go take her down the street every hour overnight to use the restroom.
Understand mistakes happen, but that was a really big one. And when I called to discuss it, I was basically told it’s not that big of a deal, the lawn signs were just required by NYS they it’s not really that serious and the dog should be able to go on the lawn.
I took a lot of pictures too, and the lawn service looked nothing like last year, there were weeds everywhere to the point where neighbors had said something.
When I asked about this he said it’s basically a gamble with the weather.
I can’t imagine every year customers would pay upwards of $400 and we just take a gamble if it’s going to work or not. There should be some kind of guarantee.
I asked to speak with someone ahead of who I was dealing with, Nick, just because I feel I wasn’t getting any answers, and it’s been 2 months maybe now with no call.
I cancelled the rest of the season and the remaining balance was sent back, but it was just overall not the best experience this year with the service or customer service.

We used this business to get rid of multiple hornet nests in our yard. Oliver came out and very effectively got rid of the nests. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and got the job done. We would definitely recommend them.
