Reviews of local pros in Canandaigua, New York

I am happy this company did an excellent job with our tree service. We recommend RM Tree Service 100%! Their estimated quote was more reasonable than that of three other tree service companies we checked into, and Rob did the work flawlessly, including clean-up! Professional and customer-oriented.

RM Tree Service has done a wonderful job on my trees and shrubs on two separate occasions. A couple of years ago they trimmed my huge buckeye tree and stabilized it with a band. I called Rob to check on this tree and to do several other tree and shrub jobs. The buckeye tree is doing well and currently needs no attention. Most recently, they removed several Yews, trimmed e few other ornamental shrubs, removed a large pear tree, and a smaller tree, and trimmed several other trees. They are professional, safety conscious, and so pleasant to work with. I happily and highly recommend this team!

R&M Tree Service removed one large tree and two medium size ones for us today. They were very professional, safety conscious and went above and beyond to see to it that our property was left in pristine condition after the trees were removed. We have used them before in the past, and I would highly recommend their business.

Rob is extremely knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. He and his team have removed two trees from my property, always taking care of the surrounding yard and doing a fantastic job cleaning up. I would highly recommend RM Tree Service!

These guys are great! Had a dead ash tree that was about to fall on my barn. Jim came right out the next day and took care of it. Thank you so much

James did a great job removing some stumps for us on short notice. He really helped get us out of a bind when we needed these stumps removed in order to have our new driveway put in. He was very communicative, showed up when he said he would be here, and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend this company.

James and his crew were outstanding! Friendly, professional, timely - he took the time to chat with my elderly father and to make us feel comfortable with the whole process - from start to finish! James was down to earth, incredibly fair and reasonable with pricing and did everything he said he would! I would recommend Total Tree Services to friends, neighbors and strangers!

Amazing job. Good people.

Excellent work, was difficult due to a lot of rain but great job. Highly recommended

Poor quality work. Left branches and piles of wood chips behind. Terrible communication once they receive payment. Save your money and time and find a better service. Awful just Awful 😖

The crew topped off and felled several weeping willows on a sleep incline.
High climbing work done safely and quickly. Cleanup spot on. All good. Highly recommend.

I used Total Tree Service for the 2nd time today. They were just as prompt and professional as they were the first time I used their service. They did a tremendous job from start to cleanup. I would highly recommend their services to anyone. Thanks again!

They are doing work TWO houses down from me and chose to not park next door but instead blocking my house, drive way and mailbox, I watched the post office lady get frustrated and drive right past my house while trying to get access to my mailbox. Last time they were here I asked for them not to and park infront of the house directly next to the house they are servicing, and they ignored me.

They showed up early and went straight to work, finishing the job in record time and cleaned everything up thoroughly. We will definitely call on them again and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

James and his helper did an awesome job. Communication was top notch. I would recommend TotalTree to anyone in need of tree services.

James is a great guy, professional, courteous, did good work for a good price

Wonderful service! Timely and friendly

Totally devastated with them! They crushed 20 years with of hostas!!! I know they are only plants but still. I’m sure there could have been a way they could have prevented this from happening!!!

Total Tree Services provided us with a high-quality service, as well as a great attitude!!! These guys love what they do, and they bring that positive energy to the jobsite. Very impressed!

James and his team did a great job removing 2 large trees right on the property line. They worked professionally, safely, communicated well and ensured that the site was left to everyone's full satisfaction.
